We felt like we were not able to diy this job and Nick and Max had a reasonable price for the work and didn't make us feel bad that it was above our skills. Nick communicated with us through text and kept us informed during the whole time he was scheduling and working on the job. They were tidy during the work and respectful of our kitchen tile. Nick even offered to take our old disposal and dispose of it. They left our kitchen very clean after their work. Nick said if our disposal leaked to contact him and they would come back and fix the leak as part of the job. It did leak and they came back the very next day, added some stuff they picked up on their way to our house and took the whole thing out and reinstalled. It has not leaked since they were last here. We were very impressed with their expertise and customer service and are going to have them do some more jobs at our vintage home. I had a very disappointing experience with Shugarman's Bath Company…read more I first met their representatives at a local festival, where they advertised that they would provide a completely free bathroom design if I agreed to a home consultation and listened to their sales presentation. I specifically explained that I was interested in a full bathroom remodel, not just a shower replacement. Based on those representations, I agreed to schedule an appointment. When the salesperson arrived at my home, I was surprised to learn that the company only focuses on showers and does not provide complete bathroom remodels or custom bathroom designs as I had been led to believe. Despite realizing early in the appointment that their services did not match what I was looking for, I still sat through the sales presentation because I understood the salesperson was giving up his time to be there. The presentation lasted approximately an hour and a half. At the end, I was given a very expensive proposal, but no picture of how the shower would look like. When I followed up and requested to receive a picture of how the of the shower would look like as I was promised, I was told that they do not provide designs and that I should simply look at photos on their website (this statement came directly from Mr. Jones who was the lead design team. This was completely different from what was presented to me when I agreed to the appointment. I felt the advertising was misleading and that the primary goal was simply to get a salesperson into my home rather than provide the service that had been promised. I was also told that I could receive a discount if I left a positive review, which made me question the authenticity of some of the company's online reviews. Additionally, I was offered what was presented as a "free vacation" if I agreed to move forward with their proposal. However, as the details were explained, it became apparent that this was not truly a free vacation but rather a promotional offer tied to a timeshare-style presentation. This felt like another example of marketing that was not fully transparent upfront. Throughout the appointment, I felt significant pressure to decide on the spot. The overall experience reminded me of a high-pressure car dealership sales environment, where the focus seemed to be on getting a signed contract rather than understanding my needs and providing the services that had originally been promised. I believe companies should be transparent about the services they offer and should honor the commitments made to potential customers. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

Andre sent a couple of workers to assemble my storage shed and build a wooden base the day after I contacted him. A very fast response! The workers showed up on time and began working right away. I'm disappointed with the overall experience. I hired OG to replace the fence in my backyard. The…read morefence itself is adequate, but nothing special. After removing the old fence, he left all of the debris--large pieces of the old fence and scraps--piled in my side yard instead of hauling them away or cleaning up the area. He returned a few days later to install a gate. When he finished, I went into the backyard and found that several of my bushes had been pulled out by the roots and left lying on the ground. He also left the section of fence he removed to install the gate simply lying in the yard. There was also an issue with the gate pricing. I was originally quoted $300 for the gate. When he arrived to install it, he showed me a Home Depot receipt for $279 just for the materials. When I asked about the difference, he didn't offer much explanation and simply said he would charge $100 for labor so we would be "close" to the original quote. What was most frustrating is that it would have been very easy for him to clean up after himself and communicate. A quick call from Home Depot to let me know the materials were going to cost more would have been appreciated. Overall, I felt like the job was done with minimal effort and attention to detail. I expect contractors to take pride in their work and leave the property in good condition, and unfortunately that didn't happen here.

It looked okay from a distance, but as I looked closer, I noticed many flaws. I don't have to be an experienced handywoman to know that something is not right (please reference posted pictures). So I asked him to come and fix the gates, as they were unacceptable. He asked what was wrong with them, and basically I told him and showed him with the pictures I took. He said he would come by. Delay upon delay. Weeks and months later he still says he'll come by (see screenshots posted). Finally, he says he will come this Monday. We wait all day. No show. I say to him, "If you didn't want to fix the gates, just say that." Essentially, he says he's not coming, and he can give me an $850 refund. I say, great, please send it. Then he proceeds to ghost me for the next few days. It's disappointing that some people and businesses are the way that they are. I just wanted to help my mom upgrade her home and make it look nicer. Below are the key observations based on visible conditions: Left Gate: *Missing screws in several areas, compromising stability and proper assembly. *Visible foam residue on the vinyl surfaces that must be properly removed and cleaned. Right Gate: *Improper installation of the 4x4 support posts. *Use of cardboard and expanding foam as filler material between the vinyl and concrete, which is not an acceptable or durable installation method. *Gate is misaligned and does not close or latch properly. *A piece of wood was used between the concrete and the post as a makeshift support, indicating improper anchoring of the 4x4 post. *Scratches and cosmetic damage present on the vinyl surfaces. *Multiple exposed and unsealed screw holes throughout the vinyl. *Excess foam residue visible across the right side of the gate. *One post cap is loose and not securely installed. ~ In regards to the business' response: Everything I do is on my mother's behalf. I am her agent. I do the all the vetting, collecting bids, and hiring for her. The issue was not money, it was about fixing the flaws on the gates. And lastly, it was at her request that I be present if you decided to show up. We trusted you, and this is what you left us with. That is all.
