My property management company used Andre Handyman as their preferred vendor to fix a leak in my home. They were scheduled to come on a Saturday, so I made myself available. At the end of their window they told me they wouldn't be able to make it as the technician had an emergency, so we rescheduled for the following Saturday. The following Saturday, I waited throughout the whole window, and they did not show or contact me letting me know. Supposedly the technician had another "emergency." So we rescheduled yet again for the next Saturday... (third Saturday in a row at this point), the tech came and stayed for 6 minutes, and told me he would come back and fix it at a later date. That later date was scheduled by their office manager, and wouldn't you know it, they did not show and didn't notify me again. Come to find out they were the company that originally did the "handy work" on the property I live in that I've had several issues with since moving in. If I were a property manager I would stay FAR away from this company, there's no way they're cheap enough to make the poor quality work and service worth it. read more

I used Andre several years ago with great success. He was punctual and completed all 3 jobs quickly and efficiently. I had absolutely no complaints. However about a month and a half ago I contacted Andre again to install a screen door and I don't know what the problem was with the front office staff as I was never able to coordinate with them to complete my request which was to my surprise. I had a garbage disposal that needed to be replaced. I purchased a brand new one and needed help with getting in installed. Not only did Andre schedule the work to be done the NEXT DAY, but the handyman, Adam, who came to do the job was extremely professional and friendly. Adam showed up on time, even asked about removing his shoes before entering my home, took the time to properly diagnose the issue I was having, installed the new garbage disposal, and tested it for efficacy, removed the old garbage disposal AND cleaned up after himself all within an hour. The labor rate was extremely reasonable as well. I will absolutely hire Andre Handyman again for other projects around my house in the future. read more

This is more feedback than a review per say because I had two handyman come out to give me a quote in the last month, Mike & Adam (for separate projects). Mike & Adam were both excellent & they each get 5 stars. Both handyman were super friendly, knowledgeable & took down notes in Ernest to get back to me with quotes. However whoever at the office is supposed to relay the quotes back to the customer failed to contact us in either instance. We never heard from the company again despite waiting weeks to be contacted & eventually went with a different company.. Someone is letting down the team of handymen by not following through with customers after the consultation. So that's my feedback because Mike & Adam were 5 stars but never hearing back twice now was disappointing. read more

Andre is the best! As a new homeowner and totally un-handy person, it's been important for me to find somebody talented, trustworthy, and easy to work with who can help with projects. Andre and his team have installed a sink for me, put up a big glass shower door, hung a giant medicine cabinet, installed a light fixture, and even moved around the wires so the right switch turns on the right lights now. He's super-friendly and approachable, and I feel totally at ease while he's working on the house.
