The owner immediately deployed his magnifying glass to read the small print of the defective bulb I brought in. He explained he had the bulb in various shades of "white" shown overhead. This was extremely helpful and nothing Home Depot would have provided. This owner of 33 years said, if it isn't the correct white brightness, bring it back for a free exchange. They originally helped me design and complete 7 bathrooms in my custom home in La Jolla, and most recently I returned again for another bathroom remodel. Their product selection is exceptional, beautiful, high-quality, and thoughtfully curated. What truly keeps me coming back, though, is the outstanding service. Working with Lorin has always been an absolute pleasure. Lorin is knowledgeable, professional, patient, and genuinely invested in helping bring each project to life. After decades of working with them on multiple projects, I can confidently say International Bath and Tile consistently delivers both quality products and excellent customer care. If I could give a zero for this review, I would. This is the worst experience that I have ever had…read morewith a vendor. We worked with Jerry. He kept telling us that he would give us a good price. He did the exact opposite. He jacked up the prices unbelievably and when we did need to return something, he made it impossible to return it saying that there was a 35% restocking fee and that we would need to pay for shipping to send it back. The item was a linear drain for the shower and he sold it to us for $1,000. I looked up the prices when we decided that it wouldn't work and most vendors sold the same linear drain for half the price. He never told us how difficult it is to work with glass tiles and how easily they shatter and crack. He never told us that we shouldn't use glass tiles in small spaces. We should have received a discount because we were working with a builder. We could have received a different discount because my husband is a veteran. We might have even been eligible for a discount because we are senior citizens. He kept telling us that time was of the essence because prices were going up every day. At least we didn't fall under that pressure to buy quickly. I live in a highrise of 385 units. Many of my friends and acquaintances were interested in hearing about our bathroom renovation. When we tell the stories about what we went through for the remodel they now know from whom they should not buy any supplies.

My project technically isn't even done yet and I'm confident in leaving 5 stars…read more Alex and his team have spent the past week doing an enormous $37k+ landscape lighting installation for my botanical garden property, involving over 130 pathway, flood, and spotlight fixtures. The job involves extensive digging, wire pulling, and complicated hookups to feed into existing circuits for underwater pond, fountain, and masonry wall post fixtures, over almost an acre of property. I can't rave enough about how professional, courteous, communicative, and meticulous these guys are being. They show up right on time every day, explain exactly what they're going to do each day, make sure everything is perfectly straight and level, and have even voluntarily fixed a lot of cosmetic issues left over from previous contractors. They're still not done, but still comfortably ahead of schedule -- even with another, considerably less communicative or professional contractor frequently getting in their way. Couldn't even wait for the job to be done to write about how pleased I am. Will try to remember to come back and post pictures once they're done.

I started with this company with the previous owner, Ron, in 2014. Shortly after the new owner…read moretook over, they reached out and offered a deal where we would purchase newer, LED lights and they would store the lights and timers for us from now on. I readily agreed as it would free up storage and the hassle of getting the lights ready for the installers every year. That year we still paid our usual installation fee plus the added purchase cost of new lights. We've always had good service with them, but I noticed last year their installers weren't as careful and they dislodged a few of my roof tiles. When I brought it to their attention, they kinda brushed it off and just pushed the tiles back. I never made a huge deal out of it and stuck with them even through the pandemic when their business slowed down. This year Eryn stated that another "partner company" would be handling our installation . Not a problem, but when the new guys came they were not equipped to handle the height of my roof and stated they would come back with proper equipment. After more than a week of no reply from either company, Eryn says they can no longer service our house due to staff shortages. What happened to the lights we purchased then?? All these years I stayed with them even when business slowed down and after the damage done to my tiles. I'm very disappointed after all these years Eryn dropped us.
