Kind, friendly and helpful. I took a lamp in for repair and was completely satisfied. I'll be back for sure.

Extremely overpriced. I bought 3 packs of 4 lightbulbs for $75. Looked the same bulbs up online and found them everywhere else for $15 a pack. I paid $30 more from this place. They are ripping people off. I tried to return them and they only offered a store credit. I feel so taken advantage of. I will never there again. I love to support small businesses but don't like to be taken advantage of. read more

This is my go-to store whenever I need a bulb of any kind. Abby is the best! If she doesn't have it in stock, she knows where to get it. My home builder made some unusual fixture choices, and replacement bulbs have been hard to come by. I brought a project on behalf of my HOA to Abby, and she was able to research and find a new source to replace bulbs from a manufacturer that had discontinued their product line. She got back to me within a day, placed a special order for me, and kept me informed of delivery status. It was an all-around great experience from initial inquiry through fulfillment. read more

They have pretty much every lightbulb made as well as some cool fixtures. Recently I bought 3 3500k MR-16 bulbs. They were a little pricy but, LED so very long life. When I got them home they were a little too "yello" so I decided to bring them back and swap them for 4000k lamps. Probkem is, I had lost the receipt. Instead of hassling metge girl was like "don't sweat it, here's an EXTRA" and replaced my three bulbs wiuth FOUR! These guys have always been solid. I would definitely recommend! read more

Light Bulb Warehouse - Storefront - Lighting Fixtures & Equipment Near Me - San Diego, California

After x3 attempts at Grainger, their associates couldn't locate and order the proper bulb. Even with their huge catalogue. I walked into LBW and Abby took one (brief) look and asked one question and came back within 90 seconds with my hard to find halogen, 2-pronged, 120V, 50w bulb. She even gave me a glove to put it in the lamp so that I don't touch the bulb! read more

Open during the pandemic - yup Limited capacity- yup So, this has LONG been on h list of places to go. Like you're not a San Dieagian if you haven't been here. I've been wanting to go here for yearrrrs. I wasn't sure what to expect when we got there, but I'll tell you this, I was not disappointed. We walk in. TallGirl looks around and says umm this. We need three of these. Hmmmmph. I, being the hands on learner I am, am still turning some switches on and off ... read not sold on her selection.... so I play like I'm "still looking". Abby finishes up with her client she was working with. So we introduce ourselves. And I tell her I have an 11 x 16 room, I am using three floor lamps that have seeded glass with a 12 inch drop. I am trying to create a very soft, chill and relaxing vibe. She immediately was like, i have this bulb let me check stock. She had four. We took them. We put them in. And the living room has the PERFECT balance and quality of light I was looking for. The bulb was also gorgeous!! The cost was what you'd spend for four light bulbs that are 10 inches each. The amazing knowledge of how to light a room to perfection, that my friends is PRICELESS!!! Shop local, support local, keep amazing professionals like Abby around so we can continue to have creative spaces at home and to shop in. Oh. And do as I say, not as I do. Don't wait years. That's dumb. Go now. Get cool light bulbs. Cool light bulbs and new paint makes a house look new/updated/changed for little bits of cash. read more

Hi, I would like to take a moment to talk about how great the Light Bulb Warehouse treats me every time I walk in there store. They not only greet you with a friendly smile but there so knowledgeable on the kind of light or bulb you need. They found a bulb I needed for my GE vented hood and I thought I would try to see if they would have it and I was told from all the GE certified dealerships that I would need to go through GE and they were the only place I would find this Bulb I needed but come to my surprise they were wrong!! I found the same bulb not for $37 dollars but for $16 dollars and it was the exact same bulb GE dealers was selling. They're the only light bulb store I would go to because they have never not helped me the way a customer should be treated. Thank you, John Santander read more

We needed a haul of new lights bulbs - isn't it the case where they all burn out at once? Kitchen, bath, spotlights, and outdoor landscape. Abby took the time to assist and more importantly, educate me on the new California regulations for LED bulbs. I had to order some items and they arrived in two days. Great service, prices and education. My go-to for bulbs and lighting products. read more

Abby was very helpful and assited me with finding exactly what I need for replacing a hard to find Light Bulb.

They know light bulbs! I moved into a condo and the first time I had to replace pronged bulbs, I tried Home Depot and Ace hardware, and after catalogues, and comparisons, I bought wrong replacements. Finally I found the Light Bulb Warehouse: instant recognition of the bulb, and less than a minute to get it from the back. My most recent visit was just today, to replace 12-year old halogens from a track series. Abby took one look and told me my bulb was discontinued, but they just got in the LED version. Friends, just go there, and do not bother going anywhere else. read more

My wife recently returned from Europe with a new lamp that required special bulbs I was unfamiliar with. When I reached out to a lighting store in my area, they recommended I speak with Light Bulb Warehouse. I called and spoke with Abby, describing the lamp to her. She knew right away what bulb it had to be. Some time later that day, I dropped by with the lamp. When she saw me walk into the shop, she recognized the lamp from our phone discussion and she grabbed the bulbs right away. Of course, they were a perfect fit. There are a lot of bulbs in this shop, but the best part is how well Abby knows lamps, bulbs and lighting trivia. read more

I have gone here a few times, and every time disappointed by either (1) price, (2) knowledge and (3) service. This time included all three and a new one...RETURN POLICY. My most recent experience... I needed a same day lighting solution and thought...we'll, I'll try one more time. I explained my application, an outdoor BBQ island, and provided a drawing and photos. I was advised the strip lighting with 12v power was the way to go, regardless of the outdoor environmental exposure. When we specifically addressed the potential exposure to moisture and rain, I was told it would be fine. Based on the information I was provided, I took it to the project and confidently left it for my electrician. Because everyone knows projects don't stick to a schedule, you should consider that before you buy here. As soon as my contractor arrived to the project, two days later, he called and explained exactly how dangerous the product was for the application. Completely CONTRADICTING EVERYTHING the sales consultant advised. The earliest I could get back to the project, a few more days had gone by, then a couple days more before I was in the area when I tried to return the kit. In all, about a week had gone by. The same sales consultant refused to return it, even though she was the one that gave me the wrong information upon which I relied in making my decision. Clearly the receipt says 3 day return policy followed by NO returns and no exceptions, although I didn't see it until I tried to return it...after all who reads a receipt before you purchase an item. Also, there was a sign way above the counter...but I was looking at the sales consultants face and the products she was presenting as viable options...and the sign blends in with all the other signs and is out of line of sight. One would expect GENERAL product knowledge from a big box store sales staff, but not from a specialty store...especially when it comes to electrical items. I shop specialty stores when I need qualified and professional knowable staff. My grievances.... This place is overly priced. The staff lacks knowledge, but presents themselves as industry professionals. The return policy is a joke. If you are singularly focused on a one day project, you might be able to return something you purchase under false information..but really, probably not. It is definitely not contractor or consumer friendly...or even realistic. NEVER AGAIN. read more

I have been trying to order 17 outdoor lighting fixtures for months. I spent many hours online and also went to every lighting store that I could find. Anytime I found a fixture that would work, it would be out of stock. I suppose this isn't surprising due to supply chain issues, but no one was helpful until I went into the Light Bulb Warehouse. I worked with Abby, and she showed me what she had in the type of outdoor fixtures I wanted (marine grade or powder coated, contemporary clean lines). She found me two fixtures that I liked that were in stock in Southern California. I chose one and she placed the order and I had them in 5 days! If you are looking for someone who is very professional and knowledgeable and willing to spend time to help you and solve your problem, I would recommend Light Bulb Warehouse. It says on their business cards "We're Here to Help", and they really are! read more
