I also have a dip in my left boob when I raise my hands idk if that's cause of the thick long scar or the placement... I called Dr. Diaz's office to confirm if this was normal and if anything had happened to not achieve the perfect results expected. Dr. Diaz called and explained everything perfectly and removed all of my concerns. Dr. Diaz is truly one of the best plastic surgeons, and a rhinoplasty is like trying to do surgery on a moving target. To solve for the final 1% of my concern, I was invited to speak to him for a revision in the future if needed. This is all to say, he is truly the best and while 99.999% of his results are all home runs, sometimes very complex noses (like mine) have a slightly almost perfect result and that is OKAY! Absolutely nothing to do with his amazing expertise or the amazing team. I was dealing with a painful vertical keloid scar from a prior ovary removal, constant discomfort, and issues with bowel movements due to diastasis recti. I even had a doctor suggest I might have a hernia that would require mesh but because of my autoimmune thyroid condition, I was not comfortable with the idea of having a foreign object in my body. I had initially put down a deposit with Dr. Rahban, but life had other plans, I became pregnant with my third baby and had to wait. Fast forward six years later, and my symptoms had worsened. But I knew exactly who I wanted to go back to. From the beginning, I trusted Dr. Rahban. I knew he could repair my diastasis recti, and just as importantly, I trusted his meticulous technique to revise my keloid without replacing it with another one. I had a tummy tuck with a hernia repair, muscle repair, pubic lift and lipo of the pubic mons. I never had any bruising! Only took Tylenol for the pain for a few days. And the swelling was minimal. Recovery has been fantastic. And now my new tummy looks AMAZING! Every morning after my shower I run to the mirror just to take a look at my new flawless tummy and amazing bellybutton. I was so nervous to trust another doctor after my previous failed procedure, but even from the very first phone call with Emily, just to schedule my consultation, I felt at ease. When I first met Dr. Cat, I immediately noticed her professional yet kind and genuine aura. Since this was a revision, she was straightforward and honest about what she could do to help me. She didn't sugarcoat anything and set realistic expectations and I appreciated that. It left me feeling excited and hopeful for my procedure. After the consultation, I scheduled my surgery with Amy, who was also just amazing throughout my journey! I also want to mention how thorough and holistic Dr. Cat's approach was when preparing for surgery. I had been skeptical when I heard that most of Dr. Cat's patients only use Tylenol after their procedures, but it was true for me as well. She is so meticulous and gentle, and I could tell the surgery had been performed with such care. At my one-day post-op visit, when I first saw my stomach, I immediately started crying -- tears of absolute joy. There were a lot of happy tears throughout this emotional journey, and I think it's because this time my experience was the complete opposite of my first procedure in Miami. From the side, the definition looks cleaner, more balanced, and much closer to what I envisioned. It's not the final result yet, but so far -- it's definitely moving in the right direction.
