Great little cinema. Not too many screens, but always good for a movie night with friends or the family. Good prices.

Overall this is a great local theater with decent prices, and some great deals if you can attend movies mid week.

We ordered ultimate nachos, large drink and medium popcorn for total of $36 I typically frequent $5 Tuesdays but we saw a early 11am weekend show so it was $18 for the tickets for a total of 60 for two people. Not too bad, Emagine also has axe throwing, bowling and arcades with party room for rental with a bar for adults. Whoop whoop! We saw Moana and had a great time!

Otherwise you have to purchase your tickets at the kiosk in the entrance. Concessions: 2 large drinks and a large popcorn combo with mini donuts was about $23. They also had some other food options, but I love movie theatre popcorn and this excelled some others! Yummy! Bar: they have a bar and you can get beer, wine and cocktails. I'm sure I would get something here in the future. The seats were the recliners and they were comfortable, but there wasn't much walkway space when people would really stretch out. We saw Mario Bros on the mega screen and it was nice, not a bad view of the screen anywhere you sit. I don't have other experiences to compare the other screens at. First time here. I'm sure we will be back since there is no movie theatre in MG!

Time for a new updated review. It's been remodeled since my 2018 review…read more East Bethel is still my favorite theatre. Like the ticket and concession value. It's clean and a hidden gem. I've experienced more loud/obnoxious teenages at other theaters, never here. I bring a neck pillow and blanket to all movies. Today I was happy for the blanket as it was quite chilly in Theatre 5. Also, serious question, who sets the volume to movies? Is it the studios releasing it that says set your speakers to this decibel, or is it the employees? The Odyssey was WAY too loud. I had to stuff napkins in my ears in order to hear dialog after all the war- fighting. I left at the mid-point of the 3 hour movie to empty the bladder before the climax, and I heard every theatre playing from the hallway. So... maybe I'll add earplugs to my list of bring-alongs. But EB Emagine is still my favorite cinema!

About half way into the movie my toddler started to get upset because I was stopping her from going up to others in the theater to say hello. She began to cry and I quickly got her to stop. This happened 3 times with her crying less than 30 seconds each time. A worker came to our group and stated that a man was complaining about the noise. I apologized for the instances and she did not get fussy again. The worker stood at the front of the room waiting for our toddlers to make a noise. My friends toddler get excited about a scene and squealed with joy for a second. The worker came and told us if our toddlers could not be quiet we needed to take them out of the theater. After the worker stood at the front again watching us. Feeling uncomfortable at the fact that our presence felt unwanted we left. In the "theaters code of conduct" it states "Parents/Adult Guardians monitor children brought into the theatre to ensure they are not disruptive to others." I understand that our toddlers were a little disruptive but it was a kids movie any child could become disruptive for any reason. We did not just let our toddlers cry uncontrollably for a long duration of time. In fact I stopped her from going up to other movie goers. With caution bring your children here because if someone complains you'll be made to feel like you are unwanted by staff.

You can reserve your seat online and buy the tickets. They do have self serve kiosks as well inside the door. The "wow" factor of the lobby is so fun!! My kids absolutely loved how this place is set up!! They also had a bunch of old movie posters lining the walls! A blast from the past! We didn't play any games, but they had what seemed to be a very well maintained arcade with a prize counter! These guys also do birthday parties! The concessions were just ok for me. The popcorn was cold. The popcorn itself really didn't have much flavor. There is an option to salt your own but the concession stand does the butter for you. I wouldn't get their popcorn again. I will say, the staff was very friendly though! The movie theater had reclining chairs in the first 2 rows... I wish they had it throughout the whole theater. Instead the chairs did rock a little bit but no foot rest. It really didn't bother us that much but recliner chairs are nice! For my heavier set friends, you would feel pretty uncomfortable, as these are slimmer seats. The recliners at the front did look wider though! Overall, we really did enjoy this theater and would be back! This would be a great place to bring the family!

We wanted to see a movie on Valentine's day and we brought our bucket to get popcorn. I pretty sure it was the owner told us "That's last year's bucket", so we ended up grabbing the wrong one...our fault. Then she goes on to tell us we needed to leave our bucket behind their counter and we'd have to pick it up after the movie. She said we couldn't bring our EMPTY bucket in the theatre. I told her I'd just take it back out to the car. Not sure why an empty bucket is a big deal, terrible customer service. So we ended up skipping the popcorn, the drink, the candy and the food that we were going to purchase, so they lost a lot of profit, not a intelligent decision as she said this in front of other customers. If that would have been my business, I would have thought, well they bought one last year and I'll take their word that they do indeed have a bucket this year too. I would have said, you know what, I'll just give it to you this time. It wasn't what she said, it was how she talked to us, very rudely. Our impression of this theatre has totally changed now. We will try the Imagine Theatre in Rogers next time as it's closer and won't be buying their yearly bucket each year. So we received a reply from the owner basically telling us tough luck. That was a terrible way to handle the situation. While it's fine to have a policy, any good business understands mistakes happen. If we had a bucket from last year, odds are we have one for this year, totally unacceptable reply. When evaluating any situation, one needs to ask themselves if their decision is worth losing a customer, we just got our answer and It reaffirms that we misjudged supporting this business. We won't be making that mistake again.

I was able to get a ticket to see Toy Story 5 on a Tuesday evening for $7.50. I bought it online and was able to select my seats so I could be in my favorite spot in the theatre. Redemption was a little wonky; when I arrived I used the kiosk and had to input my order number to get it to print out the tickets to give to the attendant to enter. I was running a bit behind, so I didn't get to scope out any refreshments or snacks. But I did pop into the bathroom real quick, and it was reasonable. There were enough stalls and it was clean enough and all that. I was definitely pleased with the comfy seats. Only a bit of a pity they don't recline. The cup holder was almost big enough to accommodate my Hydroflask (the establishment says no outside food or beverage, but they didn't stop me from bringing in my water). It wasn't too crowded, probably just because the movie I chose has been out for awhile now. Staff were prompt about coming in to clean up once the movie ended. As I myself headed out, I did find it a bit odd that they'd put up a temporary barricade to prevent me from going back towards the lobby. I was instead directed towards an alternative exit. I guess you can't go get a refill if you do buy popcorn or soda. Maybe they have issues with guests trying to theatre hop or something... I dunno.

Tickets here are usually a pretty good value, and I'd certainly recommend checking it out!
