After seeing this place on a TikTok once, my boys and I decided to give this place a try! I'm glad we did! There is a ton of free parking! You can reserve your seat online and buy the tickets. They do have self serve kiosks as well inside the door. The "wow" factor of the lobby is so fun!! My kids absolutely loved how this place is set up!! They also had a bunch of old movie posters lining the walls! A blast from the past! We didn't play any games, but they had what seemed to be a very well maintained arcade with a prize counter! These guys also do birthday parties! The concessions were just ok for me. The popcorn was cold. The popcorn itself really didn't have much flavor. There is an option to salt your own but the concession stand does the butter for you. I wouldn't get their popcorn again. I will say, the staff was very friendly though! The movie theater had reclining chairs in the first 2 rows... I wish they had it throughout the whole theater. Instead the chairs did rock a little bit but no foot rest. It really didn't bother us that much but recliner chairs are nice! For my heavier set friends, you would feel pretty uncomfortable, as these are slimmer seats. The recliners at the front did look wider though! Overall, we really did enjoy this theater and would be back! This would be a great place to bring the family! read more

My wife and I have been supporting this theatre for many years. We have purchased their popcorn bucket on Black Friday for years. We wanted to see a movie on Valentine's day and we brought our bucket to get popcorn. I pretty sure it was the owner told us "That's last year's bucket", so we ended up grabbing the wrong one...our fault. Then she goes on to tell us we needed to leave our bucket behind their counter and we'd have to pick it up after the movie. She said we couldn't bring our EMPTY bucket in the theatre. I told her I'd just take it back out to the car. Not sure why an empty bucket is a big deal, terrible customer service. So we ended up skipping the popcorn, the drink, the candy and the food that we were going to purchase, so they lost a lot of profit, not a intelligent decision as she said this in front of other customers. If that would have been my business, I would have thought, well they bought one last year and I'll take their word that they do indeed have a bucket this year too. I would have said, you know what, I'll just give it to you this time. It wasn't what she said, it was how she talked to us, very rudely. Our impression of this theatre has totally changed now. We will try the Imagine Theatre in Rogers next time as it's closer and won't be buying their yearly bucket each year. So we received a reply from the owner basically telling us tough luck. That was a terrible way to handle the situation. While it's fine to have a policy, any good business understands mistakes happen. If we had a bucket from last year, odds are we have one for this year, totally unacceptable reply. When evaluating any situation, one needs to ask themselves if their decision is worth losing a customer, we just got our answer and It reaffirms that we misjudged supporting this business. We won't be making that mistake again. read more

Went to watch iron lung, good movie. The place here is amazing, great movie theater layout. Has its only bar on the second floor. The food price is moderately ok. The popcorn........... was awful, it tasted like paper and poop, bland, and over cooked. That's why I rate the movie theater 3. read more

I've driven past this theatre many times on the way out to Outlets at Albertville. So when a comedian a co-worker and I feel in love with had a stand-up special here, we jumped on tickets. We didn't really know what to expect for a movie theatre to host a comedy show, but it was a perfect venue. Le Musique room had an elevated stage, fitted with great lighting and sound. I'm used to recliner movie theatre seats, but these were rocker chairs. So very comfortable. We had just come from dinner, but others were bringing in popcorn, drinks (booze included), and snacks from the concession stand/ bar. I loved walking in and being welcomed by the Parisienne theme. I think more movie theatres could take some notes for you. read more

New to the area and hadn't seen a movie in a theater in a long time. Found this close by and were sold when we heard they had a bar, lol. When u walk in you think you're in Vegas.. very cool vibe. The staff is awesome and that bar upstairs? Good bar, but GREAT bartender! Tons of theaters and they play some old with the new. The deluxe recliners are AWESOME with heated seats, great swing away tables and cup holders. The ONLY way to watch a movie! All of this and very affordable tickets... LOVE this place! read more

I saw Taylor this summer and wanted to relive the experience, so when we heard there was a movie coming out we had to get tickets. I live in Minneapolis but a friend of mine lives in Rogers and suggested the St Micheal Cinema in St Michael. I thought why not? She always drives out to Minneapolis, why not have an adventure in St Micheal. The theater has a Parisian theme and a very spacious feel when you walk through the doors. The lobby area is spread out and the concession counters were staffed with efficient, speedy and friendly service. Not gonna lie, the popcorn was the best popcorn I've ever had, they do use real butter at this theater but it just tasted really fresh and light. The 4 of us made our way upstairs to the 2nd floor where the bar is located. We ordered a round of drinks, very reasonably priced btw, and chatted and joked with the friendly bartender. We headed into the theater where all the seats were comfy lounger chairs. The theater wasn't too large so every seat had a great view. Overall the theater had a fun and inviting vibe, cheap drinks, the best popcorn I've ever had at a movie theater (real butter!) and really warm and friendly service. There is ample parking and is ADA friendly as one of my friend is in a wheelchair, she had no issues navigating her way throughout the theater. If you're in the area I would highly recommend seeing a movie at The St Micheal Cinema, you won't regret it! read more

Super unique, enjoyable experience. St Michael is owned by the same family as Riverview Theater at the time of my visit and was the reason I drove an hour out from the MPLS to try it out. Similar experience to Riverview in that things were clean, sound was good, and popcorn was excellent. read more

If you love going to the movies, it's hard not to feel affection for the St Michael Cinema. This was my go-to spot for event movies in the late 2000s before it closed. But apparently it reopened five years later, and I can happily confirm that nothing has changed. This is an awesome place to see a movie. The building leaves quite a first impression. When you first walk in, you'll feel more like you're entering a Las Vegas casino than a movie theater. The original designers went to great lengths to fashion a lobby that makes you feel transported to the streets of Paris. It's really unique and lovely, but it wouldn't be enough if they weren't also running a top-notch cinema. Their flagship auditorium is called the "Eiffel Screen", correctly suggesting that it is a really big screen. It compares favorably with the biggest screens in the Twin Cities, although if you're picky like me you'll notice that the shape of the screen is a little imperfect (slight slant on the side edges). Hardly anyone would care about that, though. They have very respectable options at the concession stand; everything you'd expect and more, and at prices which average out to about two thirds of what the big chains charge for the same stuff. On this visit I got a simple hot dog that was well worth the price; it was really good actually, and they have a lot of condiment options. The menu also includes tempting selections like "French Beef Sandwich" and "Dijon Chicken Sandwich". Above the concession stand is a full bar which is a really fun place to hang out before or after a movie. And they have a "free arcade". Don't say that too loudly, or ten-year-old me will hear you and have a heart attack. Some of the games aren't free or don't work, and the controllers didn't work on the first two I tried. But hey, it's free, so it's hard to complain. If you want to see a movie in a really neat building, at affordable prices, and you don't mind heading to Wright County (this theater is immediately visible as you exit I-94 at the St Michael exit), head to this beautiful place. read more

I'm so glad that this theater re-opened. We had gone under the former management (as Cinemagic) and enjoyed it, so were disappointed to hear that it had closed. It's a monstrous place, easy to get to, just off Interstate 94. The Parisienne lobby itself is quite an experience. As St. Michael Cinema the prices are more affordable, and they offer some added amenities. For example, they now offer free refills on soda and popcorn. They also offer a free arcade for children and children-at-heart. They have comfortable seating. Not quite as luxurious ad Marcus' full recliners, but still nice. If you're looking for a nice place to see a film, either with your family or on a date, check out the St. Michael theater. It's worth it. read more

So glad St Michael Cinema opened! We always went when the building was the Cinemagic theater and were sad when they closed. The first time we tried to watch a movie, there was an online error. Needless to say, we were disappointed and went to the Rogers theater. This time, we double checked the web site and were happy that times were right. They have a huge variety of soft drinks; with cherry, strawberry, etc. additions to pepsi products. Free refills on all sizes of popcorn and soda as of this review. Free arcade games, too. HIGHLIGHT: we sat in the 2nd row after hearing they were recliner seats. The second row was not too close to the screen. It was perfect and the recliners were awesome! I cannot imagine watching another movie elsewhere, with these seats at St Michael Cinema! Will definitely return. I would love to keep it a secret so the theater doesn't get crowded BUT I don't want to lose a movie theater so close to home again!! Highly recommend! read more

Beware.. I purchased tickets online from their website and was charged a service fee of 1.00 a piece. When we got to the theatre we gave them our tickets and were told we had to go stand in line with people buying tickets and give them to the cashier.. What is the point of purchasing tickets online when you have to stand in the ticket sales line? Makes no sense. This was a couple months ago as well and I am still irked. read more

We have been regular movie goers for over a year now. But recently it's been horrible! The movie theaters are left unclean, the popcorn hasn't been good, the theater is extremely cold. When I went and spoke to the manager is was rude, not friendly at all and said it always happens. No! Not last year! We never froze. It was impossible to enjoy the movie being this cold. Even after seeing dozens of movies at the St. Michael Cinema 15, our family continues to be amazed by the ambience, friendliness of the employees, comfort (no back or neck pain), cleanliness, free arcade, $5 matinees until 6pm, delicious variety of food, party packages, the bargain refillable popcorn bucket, and reasonable prices for concessions. No other movie theater compares...and we've been to many in both San Diego and the Twin Cities. We still gaze at the unique decor every time we walk in. Every experience there has been wonderful, including our visit last night to see Cars 3 . PROS: - Clean, well-maintained - Beautiful (especially the Parisian-themed entrance) - Great food (we love the wings, fries, funnel cake fries, and hot dogs) - All-you-can-eat popcorn bucket (we paid $25 for the year) - Comfortable seats. We especially like the first few rows as they recline far back and are spacious/comfortable - The Eiffel screen! It's huge! - Free arcade, give or take a few machines - Friendly staff - Generous loyalty program - Reasonable ticket prices - $5 Tuesdays with $2 hot dogs! - It's usually not too crowded, so you are not toppling over other people. The theatre is beautifully designed!!! The food was good and the prices were better than expected. We had the dijon chicken sandwiches with fries; which were very good!!! We also ordered the mac n cheese tots; those were ok! Of course, after all that we didn't get popcorn but we will next time! The best part of our visit was the fabulous customer service! :) P.S. Love everything about this theater from the prices, free games, bar, and friendly employees. Went to a movie this Sunday with my husband and daughter and spent $30 on 3 movie tickets and a bucket of popcorn that's refillable through the end of 2016!!! My only complaints are that the chairs aren't to die for like AMC CR and it's quite a hike from Minneapolis but we will definitely return--if only to get many uses out of the popcorn bucket :-) read more
