I found Andie after attending a friend's wedding last year. The bride's makeup looked absolutely stunning, so when I got engaged, I knew exactly what makeup artist I wanted to work with. The bride gave me Andie's info and thankfully she was available! Thanks to Andie, on my wedding day my bridesmaids and I looked the most beautiful we have EVER looked. Our makeup looked so natural and it stayed on perfectly all night. I cannot thank (or recommend) her enough! read more

Andie was great! She did makeup at my wedding for myself, 4 bridesmaids and my mother. Age ranges were 25 - 60 and she made all of us look our best. I actually found Andie through the hair person I ended up using, Livia Caporale. It was important to me to have a hair and makeup person that work well together, and I found that through Andie and Livia. My first in-person meeting with Andie was at the trail at her house. Her condo is a great setup for the trial, with easy parking. She really made me feel at home. I must say the way my makeup turned out at the trial wasn't really what I was going for. She's so approachable that I told her I didn't feel I looked like myself, so we modified from there. I left her house being only decently pleased with my makeup. I am SO glad I stuck with her because the wedding day makeup was phenomenal. She used a new airbrush machine she had just gotten and it made all of us look flawless and like we weren't wearing any foundation at all. I couldn't believe it. My husband even mentioned how good it looked! Not only would I not hesitate to use Andie again, but I want to come up with more reasons to get my makeup done! Lastly, as a bride, she gets an A in important things such as responding to emails quickly, easy contract, sanitary with her application process, her prices are average, on-time, she's super nice, keeps the mood light, and her experience allows her to work within the time constraints of getting ready for a big event and coordinating with your hair person. read more

Andie was a delight to work with - through and through. After a makeup trial with another vendor that just didn't work, I reached out to Andie and she listened carefully to what I had liked, what I had not, and then responded with how she would do differently. She instantly gave me a sense of comfort and her professionalism and experience was so apparent even via a phone call - in particular, she was able to listen to what I wanted (make my eyes look as big as possible) and give a detailed plan for how to achieve it. As to the actual wedding day, Andie was incredibly timely and stayed on schedule without being rushed, lent an air of calm to a bustling bridal room, and made the getting ready process lots of fun. All her makeup looks were so natural yet glam, photo-ready, and tailored to each woman. Both my mom and mother-in-law were very apprehensive about getting their makeup done, but both looked incredible and, most importantly, felt really comfortable and like themselves. My makeup stayed all day, despite some rain and so much dancing, without feeling heavy. Basically, I could go on and on, but I'd highly recommend Andie to any bride and bridal party! read more

Andie is a fabulous make up artist. This past weekend, she did the make up for my daughter Caroline, her five bridesmaids and me. We all looked beautiful and natural. She is professional and sensitive to what people want. I can't recommend her enough! Do not hesitate to contact Andie. read more

Andie is simply amazing. I had a make-up trial at Style Down the Aisle when I did a hair trial and the make up person made me look like a Japanese Samurai + Geisha, my eyebrows were huge and I had no mascara on... I then decided on doing my own make up until I saw an Asian girl's natural make up done by Andie. Andie used to work for a Japanese cosmetic company and has years of experience. The way she applies make up is very subtle and unique, she applied individual lashes on me instead of trimming a whole set, and I looked very natural- the best version of myself. During the application process, she will just make you feel so confident of the outcome, on my wedding day when I was nervous about other to-dos, she was calming me down and re-assuring that my make up was turning out so well. I felt so beautiful the whole day and the make up barely worn off! read more

Andie did my makeup for my wedding, as well as my mom's and my best friend's makeup. If you are looking for someone who will make you look like a natural beauty - look no further than Andie. She brings out the best in people without making them look "made up". My best friend had had a baby three months before our wedding and was feeling like moms do at that time - Andie made her look stunning and my husband told her she looked like a model! What a boost! My mom and I both loved our makeup and my mom even did a private makeup lesson with Andie too. Also, Andie has a warm friendly face and a positive energy which is so nice to have around on your wedding day! read more

Andie is AMAZING!!!! She did my makeup for all three of my wedding events as well as my mom and sister in law. She made each look unique and I have never felt more beautiful or received more compliments in my life! I also have never seen my mom look prettier. I would hands down use her again! She also is very flexible with location and schedules for trials and is a wizard with lashes. read more

Andie is amazing. She did my makeup for my May 2008 wedding, and again recently for my brother's wedding. Both times I looked fantastic! Andie really knows how to apply makeup and choose colors to flatter skin tone and eye color. I felt like I had nothing on my face, but my eyes were perfect and my skin was flawless. My mom looked equally fabulous for both events. Our makeup stayed put all night. Andie is also super fun, really funny and has a great personality. I could have hung out with her and looked through her huge makeup kit all day if I didn't have somewhere to be. She makes her clients feel special, beautiful and fabulous! I've had my makeup done by a few other local well-known makeup artists, and none of them come close to Andie. Well worth the money! read more

Andie is wonderful! The trial process was extremely relaxed and she instantly made me feel comfortable. She and her assistant Natalie were great the day of and all of my bridesmaids loved how their make-up turned out. My airbrush application and lashes lasted all night and looked fantastic in all of my photos. Don't think twice about booking Andie for your big day! read more

Not only did she insult me, I looked like a clown. I would NEVER get this woman to do my makeup for me or anyone else I know.

I love that the first thing my sister said to me after my trial make-up session was "Wow, you look like prettiest version of yourself". I've had my make-up done by other professionals who try to over-compensate for my small Asian eyes with clown-like application or try to force an unnatural color base - but not Andie, she is truly gifted. Andie did the make-up for me + 5 bridesmaids and my MIL and I'm truly amazed how flawless our skin and non-smudgy our eyes look even in photos taken at the very end of the night!! Her technique is superb, but more than that she has a wonderful personality and was so much fun to hang out with in the hours leading up to the ceremony. I couldn't have asked for a better team of stylists, thank you again Andie for everything! read more

Andie is fantastic! She did my makeup for my wedding, as well as for my three bridesmaids and my mom. At my makeup trial a few months before the wedding, we talked for a while first so she get a sense of how I wanted to look-she asked me how much makeup I normally wear, whether I wanted a dramatic style or a more natural one, etc. When I told her I honestly don't wear makeup and wouldn't feel like myself looking really made-up, she responded with gorgeous, subtle makeup that looked stunning. I looked like me, only better! She made me look years younger and my skin look flawless. Best of all is her false eyelash application-those lashes are absolutely beautiful. She blends them in so well that even up close it is impossible to see where they attach, and in photographs they make you look like you naturally have longest, fullest lashes ever. On the day of my wedding, Andie came to our wedding site, which made the getting-ready process so much easier. She remembered everything we had done at the trial, and got all of us ready with plenty of time to spare. One of my bridesmaids told me she looked better at my wedding than she did at her own! Andie's makeup looks fabulous both in person and in photographs, and when I got my wedding photos back and saw how pretty I looked, I knew it was all a credit to her, because I do not look that good in real life! Most important, her makeup lasts and lasts. We all looked perfect from the morning of the wedding until after midnight, through three hours of dancing. Andie gave me lip color to use throughout the day, and that was all I needed to keep my makeup looking fresh and flawless. Andie is also a wonderful person to work with-she is friendly, kind, and easy-going. Everyone in my wedding party loved her. Book her now-she is the best! read more

Andie did the make-up for myself and my bridesmaids on my wedding day and did an AMAZING job! The airbrush application technique she used made our skin look flawless and not overloaded with make-up. She was very easy to work with and listened to what I wanted. I emailed her photos of the make-up look I was going for and she recreated it even better than I had hoped for! She was even wonderful about all the last-minute touch-ups my bridesmaids requested (including going above and beyond by camouflaging a bruise on one girl's leg!) And on top of all that, she was FUN to work with and we enjoying chatting with her while we all sipped on mimosas. Andie has my unqualified recommendation! read more

WOW! Where do I begin? Andie helped bring out the best in all of us on our wedding day! She made me feel absolutely amazing! Natural and beautiful, yet enhanced in a way I never though possible! Andie is AWESOME. She is terrific at what she does and so much fun. I loved having her do my makeup for my big day. She used eyelashes and airbrush on me and I have never felt so beautiful. Andie is phenomenal! She did makeup at my wedding for myself, my maid-of-honor, my mother, mother-in-law, and 3 aunts. She made all of us look and feel our best! I went with Andie after a phone interview. I was planning my wedding from out-of-town and so many of my initial meetings with vendors were over-the-phone. What I was really struck by was Andie's passion for makeup and being a makeup artist. I was impressed by her knowledge and the fact that she trains other makeup artists. In addition to being very talented and passionate, Andie is extremely easy to work with. She is very open, a great listener, responsible (e.g., Andie responds to you promptly after you contact her, and is always on-time), and exudes calm. Andie makes the process so easy with her professionalism and easy-going manner. I felt our relationship was really collaborative. Lastly, I found Andie's prices to be very reasonable! read more

Andie is amazing! If you're wanting to look as beautiful as you possibly can on your wedding day - Andie is your girl. I had a trial with Andie and was blown away, but when the wedding day came - my makeup was even better than the trial - which I didn't think was possible! Andie has a gift of accentuating your natural beauty and bumping it up to the next level. Andie also did my mother's makeup and looking back at photos - I've never seen her look so beautiful! Not only is she gifted, but Andie is just fun - which is a nice perk when you're a few inches from someone for and hr+! :) I highly, HIGHLY recommend Andie and look forward to having another occasion where I can treat myself to her amazingness! read more

Andie did my makeup for my wedding day, as well as for a couple members of my bridal party, and she is AMAZING!! I have never had perfect skin, and Andie made my skin look absolutely flawless. I don't normally wear a ton of makeup, and she put together a look for me that made me look glamorous yet still so natural and like myself. Throughout hours of photos, the ceremony, and dancing all night, my makeup didn't budge. I felt so gorgeous the whole day! She is seriously so talented. The day of the wedding, even though she had done makeup for a wedding before mine and still had one to go after she did our makeup, she had a smile on her face the whole time. I would recommend Andie without hesitation. I wish I could take her with me everywhere and always have perfect, beautiful makeup!! read more

I couldn't have been happier with my wedding makeup and the makeup done for the wedding party! Andie did a great job - she really listened to what I had to say and she nailed the look I was going for. My skin looked really natural and the makeup lasted all day. Andie did makeup for my 4 bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law - everyone had a positive experience with Andie and I felt that each lady looked great! Similar to the other review, I overheard one of my bridesmaids commenting that she felt her makeup was better than what she had on her wedding day. On top of this, Andie is a lot of fun to work with - she's positive, upbeat, and very professional. I would recommend Andie to any bride or for anyone who needs to look great for an event! read more
