Loved this park! It has a massive play structure that includes all sorts of climbing and agility activities including rock climbing. There are 2 sets of swings - 2 bucket and 2 regular. The play structure has a large shaded canopy. There's also a smaller play structure in an enclosure for the little ones. Lots of benches all over the park. Green grassy areas. Restrooms.

Cute little park for kids. There is no regular swing only two baby swing in there but kids always have fun.

This park was recently remodeled and is fantastic. They have a huge playground structure for kids up to middle school age and then a great little tot lot. Both have rock climbing walls, slides, bridges. The big kids area has a lot of neat things to climb and play wih that I have not seen anywhere. I'm not sure if the city plans to remodel the benches around the park, which are older and weathered. If they did, this place would be perfect!

Anderson Park is a nice facility, especially for kids. There's 2 play area sections for younger kids and older kids. They have a covered bench area for parents to sit, watch and wait as well. Anderson Park is next to the Redondo Little League baseball field as well as Lincoln Elementary School, and I think the baseball field converts to a soccer field, but am not sure if it's accessible to the public or if it's private. Anderson Park does have 2 tennis courts, a single hoop basketball court, and some grassy areas along with the playground area. It's well kept and the clientele who visit are family friendly and respectable as well as respectful in a nice, polite sense. It's a good neighborhood recreation area.

We are so lucky that this park is literally two blocks from our home. It's a gem of the community. My daughter has been visiting this park since she was 15 months and now at almost 3 she still loves it. She has made 3 best friends at the park and they would get together every day with their nannies/grandmothers while the moms were at work. Many of the reviews talk about how amazing the facilities at this park are and that is definitely true. But the quality of the people at this park is its true gift to the community. Everyone is super friendly and from the neighborhood. I have several friends that I have now made from the park and our families have really clicked, especially the children. The park itself is beautiful with a couple of paths criss-crossing from Rindge to Vail (the park itself is on Ernest). There are a lot of picnic benches in the grassy areas where there is a birthday party with a jumper almost every weekend. Large trees and large canopies built into the play structures provide ample shade (unlike Polliwog in MB which gets really hot in the sun). The play ground is split into two areas. One for toddlers that is gated and one for older kids. It's true that there are only 4 swings - 2 toddler swings and 2 regular swings and that the wait for them can sometimes get ridiculous. On the east side of the park closer to Vail there is a half basketball court, the boys/girls scout facilities, and a large grassy area that is used for soccer classes. Redondo parks and recreation offers a soccer program for children as young as 2 years old through their Tiny Pros class. My daughter and her park friends attended the class and it was reasonably priced. It's really nice that this park is able to accommodate so many activities and that it is so family friendly. There are also two tennis courts on the North end of the park. They are first come first serve and the city also offers tennis lessons here. Both courts have lighting and are frequently used in the early evening hours. The park also has restrooms and they are relatively clean. I have seen maintenance people working on them at times and the facilities are kept up. The play ground structure is washed down every Wednesday. In sum, this is my favorite park in the South Bay and I am so lucky that it is close to our house and that my kids can grow up with wonderful childhood memories here.

This is our favorite park hands down! They have a toddler section for ages 2-5 which is perfect for littles. It's very clean and quiet.

We packed the wagon with snacks and water, put on the sunblock and off we went as the 5 year old told me exactly where to go. This park is huge. Has plenty of grass and hills to roll down, a softball field to run on. Plenty of ladybugs to catch, bees to watch out for and dandelions galore. There is also plenty of swings, random play things, serious climbing equipment and long slides that I thought were outlawed. The monkey bars are suitable for kids even though they look gianormous and that slide? It's like a mini splash Mountain drop. They blocked off the adjoining mini structure to the date devil one so the little ones dont get access to something to big for them. However your little ones may just want to climb up to the top anyway. Just let them do it. You know you climbed higher than them when you were young. Bathrooms were clean. The park is well kept. I saw city employees doing their thing when we were there.

[Review #831] 2024-032…read more I forgot that we visited Paradise Park years ago... I think it was a walking field trip from H's daycare/preschool: Leap & Bound Academy? My husband wanted to come back & visit a different park, & this one has some different & interesting play structures, including Saturn, train, & submarine. It does have your standard playground equipment; monkey bars, slide, swings, etc. that separates the big kids from the little ones for safety. The park has a large grassy field for frisbee, soccer, or just running around playing tag. And plenty of trees for shade! The park seems dog-friendly as we spotted several dog walkers during our playtime. There's a shaded picnic area for you to hold a small party, or hang out with friends; with picnic tables & BBQ grills spread out through the park. With the lack of food traffic, the BBQ grills & picnic tables could used some maintenance (rusted grills) &/or clean-up (cobwebs on grills, bird poop on tables). There's a tennis court somewhere; I haven't been but another reviewer posted a pic of the courts. And restrooms are available... again, don't know where but a couple reviewers mentioned they're near the tennis courts; however, there's no stall doors & they're dirty. Oh no! There's no parking lot that I'm aware of, but there's enough street parking around the park's perimeter. Not our ideal park due to its distance from home, but a fun layover when we wanted something different.

I have driven past this park location on several occasions and always wondered about it. I always see local people walking about no matter when I pass by. To my surprise, parking was easy and free. It was also dog friendly which I appreciated. What I had no idea about was how well designed this park was until I stepped foot in it. It has two playground areas, bathrooms, grassy fields for people to play some sports, and a well paved and well marked trail with mile marker to exercise on. It has a moderate up and down hill as well as shaded trees to keep cool and comfortable. WOWza, I thought! And it's so clean inside!! Essentially, you can walk about 2 miles if you do 4 laps. Or a whole mile if you walk 2 laps. I think I can actually do 6 laps only because it was such a nice urban escape and people were polite. The dogs were also having a good time too and at no point I had to worry about some rogue dog owner with their unleashed dogs or something. 10/10 would return again in the future. What a gem of a neighborhood park this was!

If you have a tiny one, I still would be cautious about the play structure in the smaller playground area. I went down the slide with my toddler, and I almost fell mostly because it was so fast. Playground sets are probably geared for older kiddos, rather than toddlers. The swings are super squeaky, and definitely could use some WD-40. All of the play structures could definitely use some tender love. I love how diverse people who are here and everyone seems pretty friendly.
