Tiny home for toddlers to play
    Kenneth C.

My kids love this park! Beautiful, clean and safe! There's an area for kids of all ages. Plenty of room to run or bike.

Brand new equipment, my boys loved playing here and it was a cute peaceful neighborhood to sit and relax watching them play!

Very cute park for little girls and boys, but there's no bathroom. I like taking kids over there because they always have a good time but when it's time to go to the bathroom, we gotta go find one somewhere

Loved this small playground. Plenty for my kid to do even though it's in a smaller space. We found parking on the sidewalk easily. It was not crowded.

Nice and new little park. Used to be a pool here, but, now it's all park. Super safe (for the most part) with padded floors and play structures. The spider webby climby thingy will occupy the kids for a long time. Pretty noisy with the airport right across the way, but, kids don't care. Unfortunately, no facilities and not much shade available with their seating arrangements. Still highly recommend and we'll be back.

The park also has taller slides, regular swings, some spinning gazebo, and a climbing structure for older kids.

It does have a nice kiddie pool, playground and shaded tables with adjacent street parking. Above average cute little park. I subtract a star for the men's toilet being locked midday and the lack of character/ambience. Recommended especially for parents with kids.

This summer we came the 2nd weekend and it was closed both Saturday and Sunday. When we called to ask why it was closed they said they didn't know. Today I called at 11:45 and they told me that the pool would be open at 12. When I got here we were told that they ran out of chlorine and were waiting for someone to bring some. Then at 1 we were told they would open at 1:30. Finally at 1:50 the pool opens and I'm told that my rec id had expired and I need to renew with 2 forms of id or pay. I said we've been waiting for almost 2 hours and we need to leave soon by the time I go home and get that it will be too late can you just let us in. The guy said uh no. Also if there is a birthday party the pool gets packed with kids and parents. Once the pool gets dirty they close the pool and tell you to come back next time usually within the last half hour. Also at the end of the season the lifeguards start to call out so if there are not enough lifeguards the pool can't open. Also they charged me $1 more than what is listed on the website. If you're coming from far away I wouldn't recommend. If you're local and have a rec ID it's worth taking a chance but expect to be disappointed

There is a large grass field area, a softball field, sand volleyball, a basketball court, playground, picnic table area and a partridge in a pear tree! I should note that the park is Employee's only and not generally open to the public. Not that I can confirm, however. I took the fam bam to watch Despicable Me 2 here. The doors opened at 4p and the movie was to begin at dusk. Due to the entrance being off a street, the ESPD were kind enough to cordon off an entire lane of El Segundo Blvd so we could have a safe lane to walk on. Parking for disabled guests were IN the park and the rest of the parking was across the street. There were lots of activities for kids available as well as a beer/wine booth for the grown follks. Food booths were also available and ranged from tacos to pizza to funnel cake. The movie ended up starting around 830p. Luckily, all those activities (and beer) were available to occupy all the families out. We didn't quite make it through the movie, but, good times were had by all! Would love to come back here for another fun filled event!

The entire park, including the library building, covers only one square block, but what a lovely space it is. So, in this town square with old shade trees and a band stand are benches with dedication/memorial plaques. This is just a simple nice/clean park. The concert series was really fun.

Mayberry, as it's across the street from the high school. And the HS itself is a magnificent old brick building. This is a town full of treasures. So. When was the last time you saw a park with a band stand? How very cool. It's Library Park's crowning glory, as there are no sports facilities.......just beautiful areas designed to be eye candy. Like the rose garden. The entire park, including the library building, covers only one square block, but what a lovely space it is. The sports fields, basketball courts, and playground are behind the school just west of Library Park (see photo), allowing the central park to remain pristine. So, in this town square with old shade trees and a band stand are benches with dedication/memorial plaques. As I review more and more parks, I find myself pausing to read the words. And I have discovered that beautiful sentiments are found in parks. Such as the one on the bench in Library Park that reads "Meet me in the garden, Gardener Bob". Who knew that reviewing parks would become a spiritual journey? I thought I was just out seeking exercise. I found much, much more. And I have only just begun.
