The good: I had fun here with my kids on Mother's Day! There's a big cement sidewalk that does a loop within the enclosed park so it's great for little ones to roller skate, ride a small bike or scooter. I saw a cat under the wooden patio there. The bouncy mounds are fun to jump on and do parkour. The metal slide against the hill is shaded. The orange umbrellas have a cute aesthetic. There are shady areas and lots of Adirondack chairs spread throughout. The picnic tables are shaded. There's a little library nook. It was dog friendly. There's an adult workout equipment area. The bad: The sand area smelled of poop perhaps due to the cat. The water fountain down the mosaic water slide art piece didn't turn on. I had trouble finding parking so I got street parking two blocks away. The interesting: read more

Reasonable community park..... PROS -unconventional set up -ropes -slides -mini caves -sand -water slide -cushioned floor mat -gated -exercise equipment CONS -saw a couple of homeless inside grounds -no water on the stone slide -only street parking in residential area -damaged exercise equipment -sand area had lots of trash Overall, considering returning since it is not the typical playground seen in every park! read more

"Relaxing and Well-Maintained Escape" The park is well-maintained with a good amount of space. Water fountains are available for drinking, and the small hills throughout the landscape add a pleasant touch. Cleanliness: The park is generally clean. There are two restrooms which are functional but could use some love and care. Ambiance: Relaxing, with a combination of open spaces, shaded areas, and small hills. Convenience: Street parking was slim but I was able to parallel park right outside the front gate entrance. Unique Features: The many lawn chairs spread out across the park allowed for some downtime to read in the shade. The trail that circles the park is perfect for a walk, and the presence of butterflies near the back by the workout area adds a peaceful element to the experience. read more

Super cute park. Very active a kids birthday party was happening when I stopped by. I can't wait to go back and play like a 5 year old.

Neat park for the little ones: Water play area and climbing walls for kids. Picnic area with benches. Restrooms. No playground though. For adults: Walking trail, exercise equipment, lounge chairs. Newly renovated. Near a school and a hospital. read more

So great! Has everything a parent needs, shade, bathrooms places to sit & one entrance/exit. Love that it's more open-play style with the sand pit and open play areas. However, because of that, I think it's probably best when you go with friends. Took my 2 & 4 year old here with cousins their same ages and they had a blast. I'd recommend bringing sand toys and maybe a ball or two :) read more

Great park but I hate that the bees that do come nearby are aggressive. I was minding my own business when buzzzz zap. Right on my calf. Thank goodness for jeans. But I still felt it and the bee died. Not sure where the bees were coming from as I didn't see flowers around. Maybe the nearby houses. It was annoying enough that I had to take my grandchild and leave. A bees had no problems landing and pricking without being provoked and I was wearing blue. Otherwise a great large space for kids to run, parents to exercise, a nice picnic area. A sand lot. A cool slide. A walk path. Clean restrooms. Very open so you feel safe. Downfall is that it's closed sometimes and no notification. Walked there twice and it was closed around 5pm read more

I met up with some friends here, and I think it's a great park. It's looks new and is clean and well maintained. There are places for kids to play and some tables to eat at and relax. It's in the middle of an area where there's not a lot of trees or grass, so it's a nice spot to take in some nature. read more

So far I've found this park really enjoyable( and I don't see it losing its charm).I grew up in this neighborhood many seasons ago and I've recently found myself back in the area and came across this gem with my little sister. There are two bathrooms, fresh water fountains and plenty of tables and chairs. If the chairs are taken sit on the grass! there is even a public grill that we are allowed to use. I'd just like to know what times this park opens and what time it closes, as it is a gated park. I hope folks come to really enjoy this park. Parks like these are more needed. read more

Just found this amazing park that opened a few days ago. It's so modern and it has great play areas for kids. There's a sand area with great shade, there's a nice grassy area too. Beautiful orange, grey, and also white chairs to sit and relax. Two bathrooms. It also has exercise machines. Dog friendly and bags to pick up after them are also available at the park's entrance. Amazing park! Loved it! There's even staff on hand. read more

There's nothing in this park. Bring back the old school jungle gyms. There is more than enough room.

I lived in the neighborhood for over 15 years and today was my first time coming to this park. I was highly impressed and amazed at how beautiful and clean it was. I love the outdoor exercise equipment. This park is a great place for both adults and kids. Thank you lawndale Councils for giving us such an amazing Park. this new Park is much needed in the community because it provides a safe ground for people to get active thus promotes well being for all. Pls stop by and enjoy and together let's keep it nice and clean for all to enjoy! read more

I was pleasantly surprised when I went there the first time with my young child and found a fenced park with an interesting layout, different from all the parks that we have gone to so far. The sand area for the kids to play in is well shaded and in a hot weather the water feature from which the water goes down the ramp straight in the sand is a nice bonus. We usually go there in the mornings and found it many times empty and only few people came by to have a lunch or just relax or families with children after being picked up from schools. Picnic tables with benches, colorful and relaxing chairs all around the play areas which is a plus from this hoovering mama:-)) Great path for little bikes or tricycles all around the park. Little workout area as well for grown ups. Easy parking right next to the park, always clean bathrooms and raked sand whenever we went. This is a must see park for anyone who is looking for a quiet, clean, relaxing park. read more

Nice small park. It is clean and nice to work out in. For the kids there is only a sand box area and a cool water fountain that trickles down to the sand box. Even though the water comes down on a nice ceramic tiled water way, it is not overly messy for the kiddos. My little one had lots of fun, nice people and easy parking. read more

This is a new park near my house and as I watched it get built, I had really high hopes for it and it almost lived up to my expectations. I really like this park. It's clean and has exercise equipment in the back but other than a big metal slide and a rope section to climb on, there isn't much that kids can do here. The park is dog friendly and that's really cool because I have a dog. There's a small sand section to build sand castles and water comes down a type of slide thing that lets you get wet sand (not for kids to slide on though). I also had my three year old daughter's birthday here and it went just fine but most of the kids played on the exercise equipment and I'm sure the park doesn't want that. Overall, I'm glad it's there and I'll be taking my family there as long as I live in the area. Hopefully they can add more equipment to play on for kids someday. read more
