Think twice before you buy a car here. The service department operates on a first come, first…read moreserved basis. They refuse to take appointments even though their website says that they do. The two times I called they have told me they have waits of 1 1/2 and 4 hours. So just plan to spend a half day there even if you are going in for an oil change. Of course, if you don't live in Decatur, take into account that the wait time may be considerably worse by the time you take to drive there. One thing is obvious, neither the service department nor the salesman care if you will ever be back.

I walked over to bbq joint got drink came straight back. 10 minutes total.went to waiting room where I set for 20 minutes. Jason Preuitt set across from me at his desk . Salesman sat behind him. His dad was also there I literally watched them pull my car in the shop. Jason still setting at his desk. They fix the problem and tell me it's not covered. Jason Preuitt said he looked for me and couldn't find me and i was in the same room as he was. So he made the call to fix it called me a liar because I didn't tell him I went to bbq joint. Regardless of I went there or not. He saw me in the waiting room but continued to fix car . He never said one word to me while in waiting room. I probably would have just let it go. But he fixed the car before I could say no then tells ne they don't work for free. Save yourself the trouble. Make a trip to Decatur.

Tuesday hubs decided he wanted to get rid of the Honda Civic. He said the car didn't have enough…read morehorsepower and didn't shoot snow out of the ac. He suggested we look at trucks. I wasn't sure about that but I agreed to go look. We went to the Honda dealer in Huntsville and he drove a Honda Ridgeline. The truck had a V6 and it felt like snow was coming out of the air conditioning. We left Honda and drove to Decatur to the Toyota dealer. Hubs drove a Tacoma and I did too. I hurt my knee getting in and out of the Tacoma and I didn't care for the ride. I told hubs let's go to Shottenkirk Honda in Decatur. We stopped by and I drove a Honda Ridgeline there. I liked the ride. The Ridgeline wasn't the color hubs wanted so we asked them to find a white truck with light interior. They located a vehicle and had it delivered Wednesday. We drove back Wednesday and purchased a white Honda Ridgeline. It's a beautiful truck. Our salesman, Kasten, did a great job. He made sure all the details were taken care of so that when we arrived, we were able to sign paperwork and leave with the truck. If you are looking for a Honda, please consider going to the dealer in Decatur. They provided us the best pricing!!!
