Yesterday I leased a 2026 Honda HRV from James at Anderson Honda. It was my first time going through this process (I had my 2004 Toyota Highlander for 10 years) so I was a little nervous going into it. James was friendly, professional, and upfront with me the whole way through. It came down to the Honda HRV LX and the Honda HRV Sport (just a slightly fancier trim). When it came time to compare the out the door costs, I was pleasantly surprised with the numbers. Pretty much everything from the selling price to the doc fee to the state fees was right where I expected it to be. Even the money factor they gave me was acceptable to me based on my credit. This was after I had already looked at OTD costs for a Toyota RAV4 down the street and the numbers they gave me were totally inflated and the entire conversation consisted of so much back and forth between the salesperson and the manager. It took hours and I ended up walking away. At Honda, I told James I fully expected to have to put up a fight but he assured me they did all they could to get everything as low as possible from the start so there was no need for time-wasting back and forth. And based on my EXTENSIVE market research about this car, the numbers checked out and it seemed like a fair price. I know most of the negative reviews on here are regarding the service center which I can't speak to (yet) but if you are in the market for a new car, I can't recommend Honda and James enough. Went in to test drive a used 2025 Pilot on Saturday. Were put off as the "manager" was using it as his "demo" ? My wife happened to look into the vehicle and it was filthy, food wrappers and more... She refused test drive after they offered to detail it. I have enjoyed company cars over my career and it was expected that the vehicle be kept clean and neat.... Amazing as this vehicle was subject to test drive or sale at any time. We test drove and expect to purchase new at another dealer. read more

The service at Anderson Honda is excellent (Scott does great work). However you need to be careful /check the pricing on the parts they charge you. Many times the prices for the parts are above MSRP prices. I needed a rear bearing for my brakes and the price for the part quoted was $258.89 (part no. 42200-T0A-951). The MSRP is $223.57 and it can purchased online for $152.92. (https://www.hondafactoryparts.com/oem-parts/honda-hub-and-bearing-42200t0a951). These are the same OEM parts. Even with the the cost to ship at $22.14 you are better off sourcing the parts yourself. Anderson's Parts Department is very expensive on just about everything I have been quoted. In today's environment and the cost for auto repairs I think Anderson's parts department is "tone-deaf" for loyal customers. read more

Just went to Anderson Honda because the AC in my Fit is not working. Their estimate was too high and the said they found other things that needed fixing, so I declined the service. Then they tried to uncharge me $32 on the $185 diagnostic fee after I got text saying we just owed the $185. Total rip-off. I won't be going there again. read more

Service has gone downhill....service here is more about figuring out ways to separate you from your money. This time, it's a $160 diagnostic fee that doesn't get credited to the repair. Last time, it was redoing an alignment....500 gentle miles after they did another alignment on the same car. We went here to Anderson Honda Togo to their Parts Dept. Our 2016 CRV. ONE of the Remotes stopped working. I bought a new battery for it. I went to put the battery in but when I opened it the contents of the Remote I found there were just random parts in it like a bag of junk! This is the 1st time we ever needed to replace the battery. I went to this Dealership & showed it to them. They said they did not want to do anything about it! Their alternative was to repair it. Their price was $108.00! I told them that they were Nuts. First time I took my Accord here and I'll NEVER return! Dreadful experience + dreadful service! They supposedly did a multi-point inspection with my oil change but missed several very obvious things (wiper blades + light bulbs that needed changed). They also failed to fix one of the the things that I came in for and specifically asked them to fix. The next week, I called the service manager, Lee, and reported my experience. He told me that my experience was unacceptable and that he would get to the bottom of it and follow up with me by, and I quote, "noon tomorrow." Ten days passed before I finally called him again, only to be given a half-baked apology and told that "things have been SO crazy." He assured me that he would follow up with me in the next few days. At the time of writing this review, it's been more than two weeks and I still haven't heard from him. Ugh!!! read more

I was at this dealership the other day for maintenance they were supposed to send the shuttle to get me, he never showed. i endded up walking there. I saw him standing around when i got there. i guess no one told him then when i pulled off my low tire pressure light came on i went back they checked the tires and showed me how to reset the light and in morning it came back on. They had the car I wanted. I had the cash. It should make for an easy transaction. One problem, I am 410 miles away. Could the car be shipped???? Heck all the time I see new cars, old cars being shipped when I am driving down the highway. We even shipped our Miata to San Francisco. In 2003, I bought and shipped a new Thunderbird from a dealer in New York. Nope, not only won't they ship but I felt dismissed. If I wanted the car I had to come get it and what time could they expect me. Then a few weeks later, they follow up. Do I still want the car? Yes please....shipped. No follow up to that response and it has been a few weeks. The car is still on the lot. Was I expecting too much to think this dealership might be knowledgeable in reliable ways to transport a car from their dealership to Ohio? Like I said, it would have been an easy transaction and they wouldn't have had a car sitting on the lot for months. read more

This place has the worst customer service. They will not answer their phones. They will not call you back if you left a message. They will not care whether the service is done right or not. Service personnel up front just sit there and do nothing, service will not help you but get your money. The receptionist, no brains. Sales folks are just sales, they are good with what they do but will not help you with anything other than sales. They can't, don't know how. Management could care less. You complain to them, they would just look at you like "You don't yet?" They have bigger and better things to do but to attend to a customer. Just to be fair, there are good things that they do.. Service techs know what they are doing. I have never had an issue with repairs and it is done well. Car is clean when you get it back. It is just the people up front that is the incompetent ones. I would not want to be working for them. Totally not worth it. The people who provide customer service and have contact with the public is a disgrace to the Honda Community. Bought a used car from them and it turned out to be a lemon car. I returned to them 3 times and the couldn't fix the problem. The mechanic advised me to go to Lexus dealership and Lexus told to return back to Honda as it has a major problem with rack and pinion which costs $3000 to repair. I went back to Honda and they refused to repair or do any thing. Contacted Serg, a salesperson, although he is a nice person but did nothing. Tried many times to contact the manager Dave, but no answer. I filed complaint in a federal agency and State Consumer Protection, and will file a lawsuit against them shortly. This was my first visit to Anderson for service. I used online reviews to make my decision. While the repair took longer than I anticipated, the service team was in contact with me explaining why it was taking the time required. It was a complicated and time-consuming repair and doing it properly took some time. I'd rather it be done right than fast. I'm very pleased with the communication and the ease with which the service was scheduled. Drop off was very convenient and the team communicated well with me. I'm also impressed that when my wife attempted to pay with my credit card which had a note on the signature line saying "Check ID" they called me to get my verbal permission for her to use the card. Good anti-fraud process. I've only had the car back for a day but all seems good so far. read more

Horrid experience. After waiting for 3 hours for a scheduled service and an Auto armour clean-up; I was told on enquiring that someone in their sales team informed them that I was leaving with my wife and so my service was pushed out till 5 pm. That is when I was sitting intent of them in the waiting area for 3 hours. The worse part here is that the service manager had the audacity to blame this on me rather than taking the ownership for this goof up. They don't offer loaner cars and neither have the mannerism to treat their customers. Not sure how my car is going to turn up after the service as I am sure they with do a quick hotch potch job. This was my first service since I bought my car from Anderson Honda 3 months back. Next time it's definitely going to be a different dealership... Even if Anderson Honda is free. It's a shame we couldn't agree on price but oh well. Anderson Honda has very nice inventory. The dealership is very clean as well as their restrooms. They have a free coffee/hot chocolate/latte machine which is great! They have a children's play area so you can bring your kids while you arm wrestle with the salesmen. (Sanitary wipes were empty FYI) But they also have annoying sales tricks. Here's one to look out for. Trick number 1 If you're in the middle of negotiating the price and the salesman says he'll be right back to show another customer a car, it's most likely bogus. (I could be wrong) I was there and it was virtually empty yet my guy had 2 appointments to himself. After my salesguy "showed a car" to the "buyer", the "buyer" started filling out "paperwork" while sitting in the desk RIGHT NEXT to me. (This tactic is called indifference in the sales world "Buy if you want if not, I'm gonna sell to this guy") Like I said, I may be wrong but it seemed far fetched since the place had no customers. After we couldn't agree on a price, which was a shame because the car was breath-taking, I went to the back of the store to get my niece who was playing in the play area. I guess the salesguy and the "buyer" thought we left because when they saw us they were both very shocked and the "buyer" asked the salesguy "is this the way to the bathroom?" RIIIGHT. Trick number 2 They will bring you a piece of paper which has the car info on it with a price in bold. They will say their price is correct because the piece of paper says so. Any grade schooler with microsoft word can make a one page paper with a number and a dollar sign on it unfortunately this is not enough proof to discredit Edmunds.com, Truecar, and KBB's Fair Market Value Price. Two dealerships I went to did this exact pitch. All in all very nice dealership. Extremely clean and their inventory seemed very well kept. They lost 2 stars however. One for each sales trick. I don't judge though. I know sales is a hustle and you gotta do what you gotta do when you work on commission but I refuse to overpay I don't care how nice the car is. There are plenty of nice cars reasonably priced out there. read more

Do NOT trust this dealership! They lied on the phone about the condition b of the car and after driving 2 hours to get there the car had several dents, dings, scratches, etc. They apologized for the condition of the car and after taking a $1,000 deposit they promised to fix all of the issues. Well, a week later and another 2 hour drive back they only fixed 1 dent and tried to pretend they had amnesia regarding the other items on the list. After reminding them of their promise in writing, they said there was nothing they could do and we could walk away from the deal. They also said they would auction it for their list price, which is a lie because the book value was $2K less then their list price. Tom Cook, manager, is the person that made the promise to make the repairs but failed to keep his word, blaming it on his management. Do NOT trust Anderson Honda. Do not buy from them. Definitely do not buy any warranty, especially the "extended warranty" from them. You can get it at Saccucci online for 1/4 of the price. They lied and told me I had 30 days to buy an extended warranty from them or lose the chance to ever buy an extended warranty, that's a lie I did find out about. On Monday, 9/29/14, I went to Anderson to have my Honda Element SC appraised and see if they had in interest in purchasing my car. The sales people were cold and distant and couldn't have cared less if I were there; and it wasn't because that they were that busy. I was the only one in the showroom! The sales manager seemed like it was too much trouble to take the time and appraise my car and just gave me a ballpark figure and told me to come back when I was ready to sell. I had just the opposite experience at another Honda dealer who gave me a price on the spot and said how much they really wanted the car to put on their lot because of it's great condition and such a rare find. Even though Anderson is my neighborhood dealer, I'll never go there again and will drive out of my way to avoid them! read more

He is a true professional and gentleman. I had many questions and he never hesitated to answer my questions and show me everything I needed to know about the car. I just bought a Honda CRV hybrid and had a terrific experience with Anderson. It is my third Honda and first SUV and I am thrilled with it. The salesman I worked with, Serg Valente , was really knowledgeable, helpful, nice and very respectful of my budget. I feel like I got a very fair trade in for my Accord and was able to upgrade to the CRV hybrid with relatively little pain financially. Very rude service department. I asked the service manager to point out the hole in my condenser - next thing I know he was in my face demanding that I do not speak to him in that "tone". Seems like the service manager is full of himself. I walked into his office and first thing I see are his feet up on the desk, leaning back in the chair like he owns the place. I ended up getting "kicked out" AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! THERE IS A BETTER DEALERSHIP RIGHT DOWN THE STREET LONG DUE UPDATE: I went to Heritage Honda a couple of weeks after this incident and they replaced the condenser under warranty. My first time here. Took my 2008 civic for a regular service. The service was reasonably fast. The service area was full of other customers meaning they are good at what they do. The only additional thing they added to my car after inspection was ATF. I knew I wanted that, so that's cool. I was expecting more replacements as I am about to hit 100k, but surprisingly my car is ok. I will be changing all 4 shocks along with my next service here. Overall nice experience.
