My power of steering went out in my car and my mechanic I usually got to had recently retired so someone suggested this place to me so I had my car towed there by AAA seeing as how my car was in drivable at the time. They looked at it and told me it was a rack and pinion and that I would also need an alignment and was going to charge me nearly $2,000 to fix my car seeing as how I am a 19 year old girl I believed them but I couldn't afford to fix it right then and there so I had my car towed again to a different shop in saintpete where they said these people where trying to scam me because all that was wrong was a cable and clamp on my car and my total there is only $100 dollars. Never taking my car to this place again sense they think they try and scam me. read more

I put on new brake pads on the front and rear of my vehicle on Sunday. Monday morning on the way to the gym I heard this odd noise coming from one of my wheels that sounded like something clicking on each rotation. I called Anderson Auto once I got into work and explained what I was experiencing, and they said to bring it by, and they will look at it. They kept me updated several times throughout the day and educated me on what was going on as well as advise me off other items they saw that needed some repair. They were not like a dealership that basically gives you a list of things that your car needs immediately and hand you an estimate for thousands. It turns out my rotors were in bad shape and that was the noise. The price given was reasonable and they were able to get the work done that day before I left work. When I arrived to pick my car up Danny came out and explained everything to me and let me know he noticed once of my struts was loose and he tighten it up as well for me. They took initiative and were proactive about repairing my vehicle as well as being reasonably priced. This place is everything I imagine that I want in a locally owned business. read more

Although they'll let you bring in your own part, don't do it. Better yet, don't go here at all because they obviously don't care. I supplied a fuel pump to install. I even made sure there wasn't much gas in the tank because the tank has to be lowered. So they installed it quickly but now the gas gauge doesn't work. They don't care. Blamed it on the part I supplied - of course. Now, a decent mechanic, before putting it all back together, would've tested to see if it worked NO MATTER who supplied the part! They suck. read more

Two days after driving in from RI, the air conditioning in our car failed. Being from out of state, we didn't know who we could trust to treat us fairly. Danny corresponded with us and was willing to take out car in the next day. We brought it in, he gave us an estimate and the next day it was fixed at that very same price. I brought my out of warranty Mercedes to Anderson's, based on recommendations from a few friends. I am so glad I did. I started with an oil change.. Heather, the receptionist is one of the most outgoing & friendly people. When I was told my 2009 C300 needed a new Rear End, I cringed at the thought of having to pay for it. In all honesty, Andersons is very reasonably priced, and a lot less than the Dealership. I got top notch service, I know it's fixed correctly, and honestly. I would recommend this business to anyone read more

We took our scooter to the repair shop with the understanding that no work to be done before getting an estimate. The scooter had brand new carburator and battery (one week old). They were supposed to do figure out where the vacuum leak was. Went to pick it up this morning and was told that they replaced the battery and carb....we were not even notified!!! The bill was over $117 and still the scooter is not working. Don't give them any business. read more

the WORST of the WORST...Passing through Florida... Danny said that I neeeded a wiper motor for $400 and I didn't. All that was needed was a cleaning of the relay switch which he said he did. I went to someone else who cleaned the relays for $25 and the wiper motor started working (savings of $375). He used a cheap chinese oil filter instead of the German filter requested and paid for and also suggested that he should machine the rotors on a BMW which NO ONE recommends. And when I called him on the filter, he called me a crybaby and whiner. He told me I was nickling and diming on the price...Gee...I wonder why! I saved $600 by going somewhere else but still have the cheap oil filter that I need to change right quick for my BMW. And he never acknowledged that he was totally wrong on the wiper motor...oh well. The one thing he NEVER called me was a CUSTOMER! This auto shop is all about KaChing...KaChing...KaChing STAY AWAY from this shop. Buyer BEWARE. Caveat emptor! read more

This Danny guy is a rip off, I fill assaulted! ! He made me pay him for labor and parts for a scooter that he did not fix. Same problem it was is still on after paying him over $125. I bought this scooter for a special need boy that I am helping, he is paying cost to fix with his first part time check. But his check is going to this rip off place and still NOT FIXED. read more
