When scheduling my appointment, I wrote a comment stating that I was unable to receive the type of facial I wanted due to my work schedule. So I scheduled a different one instead. Not expecting much, within hours she was nice enough to switch the facial I booked into the one I wanted. Right off the bat impressed. When the time came to receive my facial, not only was it incredibly pleasant and relaxing. Jennifer is superbly knowledgeable in her field and was able to answer all my questions! She is easy to have a conversation with and makes you feel comfortable. Exceptional service, my skin looks amazing. I will be seeing her for facials from now on.

Jen is truly awesome! I've had many facials at many spots, in and out of Anchorage, and the one…read morethat I got at Pure Skincare was top notch. When you arrive, you're led to a room that is comforting and relaxing. When the facial starts, you're introduced to pure bliss. Jen went thru some options but I basically left it up to her. She explained everything that she was doing very well. Not only did it feel great during the facial but I cannot remember my skin looking so good after any of the others. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up, 5 stars, would HIGHLY recommend!

2 years ago, I went to see 3 separate doctors about my skin, before coming here. The doctor before…read moreI came here, said immediately that he didn't deal with what I was looking for (after knowing this was what the appointment was about), then said I should see his ethetician and start using the Obagi skin care line. So, 5 minutes and $265 for him to tell me that. I naively went to his esthetician and purchase only a few of the Obagi products (the esthetician said my own cleanser and moisturizer were fine), and the total for PART of the line was over $500! Had I gone here first, I could have gotten the entire line for a little less than $200, which is still expensive, but at least not ungodly so. So mad at what a rip off the other doctor's office was! But now you know - if you use Obagi, come here - Dr. Biehl has the best prices in town, and has a frequent buyer program, where after 5 purchases you get 10% off your next purchase, and after 10 purchases, you get 25% off your next purchase. He also offers many other services and does a great job at explaining things and making your feel comfortable. He, his wife, and his staff are all super nice, and I feel like part of the family there. They do a great job of educating you, as well as enrolling you in the products rewards programs, so you always get the most you can possibly get for your money. It's still expensive, but way cheaper than anyone else in town.

First of all, their specials are so amazing I tend to buy them in bulk so that I can afford to do my self-care every month. I also pay in cash so I can avoid the usual credit card surcharge that many businesses charge. Secondly, I haven't felt and looked this good in years. I'm 50 and most folks think I'm in my late 30's-early 40's. I always get excited for my appts because they make getting my services a lot of fun. I feel cared for and pampered and there is never any discomfort for me with my more involved services. Dr. Biehl, Jacqueline, and Sonja make you feel like family and it's always a pleasure seeing them. Highly recommend!

There are not a lot of electrolysis places to choose from in Anchorage. I had found great reviews…read moreon this place and tried it out for the course of almost a year to a year. It's done out of a townhouse in a residential neighborhood. I do not know if Sue owns both sides, I never asked. I went here about once a month, maybe a little longer in between visits as I was told just come when I can after asking frequency. I now know with my new electrolysis person that you should be coming every 2-3 weeks to get the job done and to keep up with hair growth during active cycles. When you enter there is typically classical music playing and a couch for you to sit on and wait. If she is with someone upstairs she will come get you when she's done. It did seem odd it was out of a house, but there are a lot of home businesses. It did not seem unclean to me. Upstairs you go in a room and it looks like a lawn chair covered in blankets and a towel. I felt a little odd about this, but still proceeded since I was so desperate for hair removal. On my first consult Sue did let me feel what it was like just so I got an idea. That was nice, since it was an unknown. She was always friendly and chatty with me, which was nice. My only complaint was she would drink coffee during the sessions so I had to deal with coffee breath. I now know that you should let the hair grow 4-6 days before electrolysis to actually see the root and how the probe needs to go in. With Sue I would just let it grow for a day and go and I don't know if that was the problem or not, but she never said anything about it. I felt the probe go in, but then it felt like she was plucking them out. A properly treated follicle should just have the hair slide out and no tugging from plucking. All in all I never saw results. The plus was she was friendly, the cheapest in town, open Saturday and always could squeeze you in, but I just didn't have results.

After a bad experience at another electrolysis place in town I reached out to Nataliya. She was very thorough with her questions and explanation of everything on my first consult. I've been going through the process of electrolysis with her for 6 months now. I have a lot of hair growth due to PCOS causing a hormonal imbalance, and it has caused me embarrassment and made me self conscious for years. I am seeing less and less regrowth every visit with Nataliya and I am so thankful for the progress! I hope to have a 1 year photo to post (if I become brave enough) to compare then to now. The Biomat is awesome and is such a great treat for me after working on my feet in a warehouse all day. It provides a warmth and relaxation among other health benefits! The spa itself is calm and relaxing. Everything is clean and immaculate. Nataliya uses natural products on your skin and offers a variety of services. I hope to take advantage of one of her facials soon!

Literally the worst place I've ever gone to get my eyebrows done. As my eyebrows are very prominent…read moreand visible, I always let the esthetician know exactly what I need- only cleaning, no reshaping. She did the opposite and made them extremely skinny. I also believe she was drunk, she kept stumbling and getting way to close to me to talk, resting her whole upper body on my chest while she was tweezing which especially now is not ok. The receptionist, who I think was a teenager was really rude and dismissive as well. This is the closest place for me to go and it outwardly seemed like a nice spot, but I will never go back. So overpriced for horrible service.
