Your blind needs will be met. We needed kitchen and nursery shades, obviously very different situations. The consultation was a fun experience and Armi helped us land on exactly what we had envisioned. But how will the execution play out? Well in our case - perfectly. Installer was fast, efficient and nice to chat with. And the final result was excellent! Cannot recommend enough! read more

We had Anchor Blinds out to install blinds at our house and they did a great job! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for new blinds. They have great service and helped us with great information. Thanks again! read more

I don't even have my blinds yet, this review is just for Armi's great attitude and service. She was so helpful during the picking out process--I called her after she had already left, with a possible change, and she stayed on the phone and went through the Hunter Douglas website with me as we looked at how the blinds would go with various room colors. Next, I got new windows installed today (from someone Armi referred me to); they did the upstairs and will finish the downstairs on Monday. Armi planned to have my blinds installed Monday after they were done. I called her at 1:30 (it's Friday afternoon, too) and asked if it was possible to have someone come install the blinds just on the new windows, as I realized that the old roller shades I had been using would no longer work on the new windows, leaving me with no window cover at all in my bedroom. She first said no, then called me back 15 min. later saying she had talked to the installer and he was willing to come to my house at 6:30 to install the upstairs blinds. To me, this is above and beyond service. I can't imagine most businesses doing this. I will tell everyone I know about Armi's business. read more

I recently used Anchor Blinds for window treatments for our livingroom, office and kitchen. I was at a total loss as to what to install. I saw all the 5star reviews so called them. They were helpful and right on time. Within two hours all my windows were measured and they quickly figured out what I liked and what I didn't like. In fact, although I don't like honeycombs in general, I knew that's what would work best for our livingroom. Anchor was able to help me find honeycombs that work great and look great. Rollershades...who knew how cool they are? I felt like the whole process was seamless and low stress. They are professional and customer service is excellent. Thank you. read more

Great experience with Anchor Blinds. The initial consultation was quick and informative. They have a wide selection and are very knowledgeable about all of their products. While we were busy talking about styles and colors, the other member of their two-person consultation team measured all of our windows - even the hard to reach ones - and was done before we were! The prices were very competitive and they let you put half down at the time of order and the other half at installation. The gentleman that came to install was such a pro. he noticed that the window frames on several of our windows were bit crooked and he rehung the blinds in a way that obscured that fact. He was very patient, explaining how each type of blind we ordered worked (we had simple pull up and down, top down/bottom up, and a self adjusting roll up kind that took some getting used to. The entire process was easy and our end result gave us just the right effect. I especially loved that the consultant was honest if she didn't think a particular style or color was right for us. They are the professionals and sometimes our wants get ahead of our brains, so it was nice to have a thoughtful and honest person to help steer our choices. I get the sense that this is a family run business and it shows that they take great pride in their work. Excellent job from start to finish. We couldn't be happier. read more

Had a very painless experience with Anchor blind. We had two large windows to dress -- one in kitchen and another at stairwell. Armi came and came up with a proposal within 15 minutes, quoted us, and left. With other designers I had to discuss 1 to 2 hours discussing options, but Armi was able to reach the exact same conclusions I had with other designers in minutes -- so really she is just efficient. Installation finished quickly too. They were able to get the curtains in weeks as quoted and install the next day. The installer also spent a good amount of time making sure that I know how to work the honeycomb blinds to avoid damaging in the futures. It's been a few months since install and it's been great so far! read more

We had a great experience with Anchor Blinds. We had a small job but they still took good care of us and spent time helping us figure out the best product. I have purchased most of my blinds online and installed them myself, which works fine, but I now see why a pro installation is better. They look better, function more smoothly, and the install is perfect. I would call Anchor blinds for another job in a heartbeat. read more

I found Anchor Blinds on Yelp looking at all the positive reviews. Wow, the experience was exactly as the other described. Armi came to my condo and did all the measurements. She helped me pick out options that met my needs. I needed blinds for three large windows. She gave an accurate estimate for when they would arrive. Wyman did the installation. I couldn't believe how quick he was. He also took my old, dirty ones away so I didn't have to deal with them. Great company, great service! Would definitely recommend to others looking for an upgrade for their windows! read more

Everyone at Anchor was responsive and helpful. Armi was a great consultant and we are very happy with the blinds. They are Hunter-Douglas honeycombs. Highly recommend this company. read more

Anchor Blinds is an awesome company to partner with for window coverings. Armi is a super talented designer who came to the house with great ideas and the right number of samples without overwhelming us with too many choices. I learned a lot from her about how to choose the right shades and blinds for the style of home, the type of window and the color of the walls. Wyman is the best installer ever. I have had window coverings installed at 4 other homes and wished I had known him all along. He did not leave until we went through each window, the operation, the remotes and the hub. I really appreciated all their COVID-19 precautions as well. read more

Armi and her team were wonderful. We needed blinds in a bedroom and the living room, and the bedroom windows included a pair with a slanted top frame. Armi met with us to discuss the type of blinds we wanted (e.g. room-darkening vs light-filtering; pull-up vs pull-down vs both; cordless vs not) and to take measurements. She also helped us--very patiently--to pick suitable colors. Once the blinds arrived, her team installed them in about an hour. Before leaving, the team showed us how to operate the blinds and adjust them if the bottom started to slant, and told us to contact them if the blinds ever had to be serviced or removed. A few weeks later, Armi emailed us to check how the blinds were doing. Overall they have been wonderful--we love the light-blocking shades in the bedroom. We had noticed one of the strings threading through one of the blinds was getting slack, so I mentioned this to her and the next day someone came to take a look. It turned out it only needed an adjustment using one of the plastic screw tabs they'd left with us earlier, but the man was very nice about the whole thing and left us another tab just in case. I would definitely use Anchor Blinds again, and highly recommend them to others! read more

Used Anchor twice, once for main floor and again after upstairs remodel was done. The "in-house shopping" process is very convenient especially when it comes to getting colors right, Armi had great advice and knowledge of all the different products, and their installer did a great job. Nice to have the process handled from start to finish. read more

We were looking for new honey comb up/down blinds and sliding panels for sliding doors. We chose Anchor for several reasons. It is a multi vendor shop, the blinds came from one vendor while the sliding panels came from another. Armi, the person we worked with , was informative and professional. We met with or spoke to 3 other companies, which all came out to the house. Anchor does not do house visits, until you have narrowed down your parameters. At first that was off putting, but it proved to be a good thing as we needed to figure out how many windows needed blinds after a major remodel. After we were close to deciding on the final products, Armi came out to. the house and validated certain ideas and suggested a change to one of our configurations. That was all quite useful. She also did not try to upsell to add hardware which really would not have been useful given the layout. Installation was a breeze. Pleased with the product, service and follow up. read more

We were looking for blinds for our new home in Seattle. We considered a couple of companies but chose Anchor because we prefer to use independent local businesses and because their price quote seemed fairer. Armi was extremely professional when she came for our in-home consult. She took careful measurements, gave thoughtful consideration to our specific window issues and was spot-on with her recommendation of treatments that would work with our design vision and budget. All COVID protocols were followed for her visit, which we appreciated. I can't remember the installers' names, but they were also ultra-professionals, pleasant to have in our home. They took the time to carefully explain the workings of each type of blind we had installed. We were pleasantly surprised when the blinds arrived from the factory earlier than the lead time quoted, as well. The blinds are beautiful in our home. Anchor Blinds is a local gem of a company and we would definitely use them again. read more

We could not have asked for a better experience! As first time homeowners, we didn't really know how expensive things were going to be or how it all worked, but Armi was such a pleasure to work with and so incredibly professional. We got quotes from Anchor and a competing company and the difference in customer service and quality of the blinds was night and day. If you're on the fence, trust me when I say Anchor Blinds is the way to go. read more

Anchor Blinds was recommended by my neighbor who was extremely happy with their service and products and I have to agree (looks like Yelp does as well). The service was outstanding, both Armi and Wyman were knowledgeable and professional. We ended up going with three different types of window coverings (cellular shades, faux wood, and roller blinds) on Armi's recommendations and are very happy with the results. The installation was precise and he made adjustments where necessary to ensure the best function. Highly recommended. read more

Amazing work! So pleased with the products and the customer service. Everyone involved exhibited the greatest of care for my home while here doing work. The project planner was gracious with answering my questions and, since I'm a very decisive person, I very much appreciated that she didn't try to tell me my ideas were bad, or try to get me to change my mind, or upswell me once I made up my mind. Installers were super clean and careful while working -- unheard of in this day and age! I can't recommend them enough. I will certainly be using them for all future needs! read more

We recently purchased a house, and this was the second time we have used Anchor for our window treatments. Armi has great suggestions for styles that did not even occur to me. We had a great experience with Anchor. Armi is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The installers were actually early (they called to let me know they would be early) and they were also knowledgeable and professional. We love our new blinds. I highly recommend Anchor. read more

Great experience - Armi helped us through the full process - taking the time to ask questions about what we were looking for and listening, providing advice and options, and following up with pricing estimates that were spot on. Appreciated the personal touch and we ended up with as set of blackout window shades that we are very happy with - hell the baby sleep through the early summer mornings! Very positive experience with Anchor Blinds, from efficient, helpful visit for sizing to quick installation. We got good suggestions for color and shade mechanism. People were all very pleasant to deal with. read more

We recently purchased shades for our new lower level family room from Anchor Blinds. Our sales rep, Armi, was efficient and thorough in going through the process to determine the right window treatments for our home. I was a little unsure about what to choose but after some encouragement, decided to go with the more expensive energy efficient choice. We moved on to fabric choices and I was VERY unsure about if I was making the right choice, but I have to say that Armi nailed the color and I couldn't be more pleased. Fast forward to installation day ... I got a call from our installer (sadly, I can't remember his name, but he was GREAT!) and he worked with me to find a time to install our shades the very same day! He accommodated our schedule and actually came to our house at 6:00 p.m. Installation was a breeze - that was the fast part! Teaching us to use the top down/bottom up retractable cord shades took a little longer. He was infinitely patient, didn't seem in a hurry, went over and over the procedure for raising and lowering our shades and didn't leave until he was satisfied that we at least marginally knew what we were doing! I will confess that I didn't shop around and compare prices - it was one-stop-shopping because we were anxious to get the project completed. My sense is that the product was maybe a little more expensive than other places offering similar services (and certainly more than if we'd done the DIY stuff on-line). For our situation though (we have large and oddly shaped windows), it was probably better to go with a more hands-on approach from the vendor., In the end, I think the customer service - especially on the install made up for the higher price point. Bottom line, the shades are beautiful, the service was efficient and we're happy. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who might be looking for window treatments. read more

You know when you read all these glowing reviews and you think, "I don't know if I believe a company could be THAT good?" Well, believe it. These guys are the Real Deal. After having an 'uninspiring' consultation with 3-Day Blinds, I called Anchor Blinds on a whim because I received their flier in the mail. Am I glad I did! Armi came for a consultation, and was SO helpful in selecting just the right products for form, function, and safety with our two young children. Her suggestions were spot-on, and everything looks like a natural extension of our new home. Armi could answer all our questions about energy efficiency right off the top of her head, and she gave us the actual price of everything right here in the house during the consult--something that 3-Day Blinds took WEEKS to get for us. And even more surprising, they were LESS expensive than 3-Day Blinds, which is amazing, considering I don't expect to have savings like that with a local business versus a national one! The gentleman who did the installation was the sweetest, most professional and respectful installer I have ever had by FAR. They really treated us like we mattered, and even offered to come and take the blinds down and put them back up if we ever wanted to paint the walls. Can't say enough good things about them, have told all my friends and sent information to my realtors so they can refer their clients! Oh, and I even forgot to mention, the blinds came in and were installed even EARLIER than Armi's time estimate. Don't hesitate to work with Anchor Blinds, you will not be disappointed! read more

Anchor Blinds is an exceptional company. I needed to replace my outdated and ugly blinds. Armi was very professional during my in-home consultation and made great recommendations on the style and color of blinds that best fit my home and needs. She carefully explained the different types of blinds available. Pricing was transparent and Armi provided pricing for all the available options during the in-home consultation. I went with Hunter-Douglas honeycomb blinds, which are pricey but high-quality and well worth it. My living room is much brighter now and the black-out shades I chose for my bedroom blocks all the light out. The installation was quick and professional. Wyman taught me how to properly use the blinds, disposed of my old bulky blinds, and vacuumed the floor afterwards. He made sure I was completely satisfied and all my questions had been answered before leaving. I will definitely be returning to Anchor Blinds in the future. I highly recommend this business if you are in the market for new blinds! read more

We've used Anchor Blinds twice now. We're happy to help support such a knowledgeable and thorough local business. We placed our last order just before stay at home orders were put into effect. As soon as installation was allowed, we received a call, outlining their new safety features and asking if we would like our shades installed. When we said we did not feel safe yet, there was no problem delaying installation. In the meantime, we had received an email, saying that the company had applied for our rebate on our behalf. The rebate actually arrived before installation! When we did schedule the install, we received very clear instructions on what we needed to do, as well as what the company would do to keep everyone safe. Everything went quickly, and the crew made sure we knew how to operate our new shades. While at our home, they were even able to fix an old shade they had not even sold us! About a month after installation, we received a follow-up email making sure we were happy with our shades. It's been a pleasure to do business with professionals who know their industry and communicate well. read more

Top level service from your consultation to the installation. Each employee is clearly a subject matter expert and they provide very clear options, pricing, and recommendations. Their attention to detail and sense of space, lighting, and color coordination made for an effortless decision on blinds and colors as well as prevented us from feeling overwhelmed. Our installation was fast despite having three floors worth of windows and they took their time explaining proper operation and care to ensure they last for years ahead. read more

Anchor Blinds is a great company they provide an excellent product, design solutions, and customer service. I bought top down bottom up shades from Anchor when I first moved into my house, and was so happy with the way they looked I called Armi for a suggested an affordable solution for the sliding glass door, which I think are the hardest of windows to decorate. She suggested a panel which looks beautiful and perfectly compliments with the shades. In my opinion what really makes Anchor Blinds stand out as a great company is their customer service. There was a small problem with one of the panels and when I called Armi she took care of it immediately no hassles. My only regret is I don't have more windows to decorate. read more

Excellent customer service! Armi was so helpful when she came over for my consultation. From start to finish, Anchor Blinds provided outstanding service. I highly recommend them. Before choosing Anchor Blinds we wanted to get a few estimates. We called a couple competitors that also had great reviews on Yelp. The first one missed the appointment - bad sign so we didn't even reschedule. The second came over and bought a stack of samples and was just short of saying "Pick what you want and let me know." We were looking for a little bit more advice/hand holding. When Armi from Anchor Blinds came over first she sat down and discussed what we liked and didn't like and what we might be looking for. Then she toured the house. Only then did she go out and get some samples. Again, not many samples to overwhelm us with choices, but just those that she thought would fit our style/home. I appreciate that. I'm sure if we wanted to see 100 blind/shade samples, she could have provided them... but to me too much choice isn't always a good thing! Installation was fast, efficient and perfectly done. One last note, this review is coming from someone that is almost always over critical of service providers. I'm continuously let down by those that I feel don't take enough pride in their work. Even if pressed, I couldn't find even a little nit picky thing to say about Anchor Blinds. read more

I called them to see if they had a service tech who could come to my house to change the batteries in my power blinds and also install a new pull cord on a a large up/down blind in my bedroom as I am disabled now. The lady asked if I bought them from their store and I said no it was several years ago through Costco - She rudely said then for me to call Costco - I said I just wanted to hire a tech to come out to my house. She hung up on me while I was about to explain that I wanted to see about installing another blind in my kitchen area. I realized that the line had gone dead and I was talking to 'space'. I will now never do business with them as she was so rude and I thought I would work with a local small business - maybe they need more PR training. read more

I wanted to let everyone know what a great company Anchor Blinds are! Wyman, the installer, went out of his way to take care of me on a quick repair the same day I called in. Anchor Blinds was really great to work with. They were very quick to respond to my initial request for a consultation. Armi came prepared with multiple samples and styles for both shade types I was interested in. Additionally, she was very clear about pros and cons for each tier of the shade types. Wyman then came out a few weeks later to install all the shades and give demonstrations on how to properly operate them. Overall, a very pleasant experience. I will be using them again! read more

I'm going to jump on the bandwagon here in giving my appreciation of the crew at Anchor Blinds. We needed window treatments FAST for a new house we were buying (think "ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD can see me from the shower" kind of need), and they came, had one woman measure ALL the windows (in case we wanted more blinds later) while Armi talked to me about our options. She was sensitive to our budget and had a great array of options for us. I had no idea what to do color-wise and Armi saved the day again. We came away with some FANTASTIC black out blinds for the bedrooms, and privacy blinds for the bathroom. They were delivered right on time and installed the day we moved in (phew)! Fast, professional, and polite! **Update** One set of blinds had a manufacturing defect that caused them to start to sag after a few weeks. I emailed to let them know, they ordered replacements and came as soon as they arrived to install them. No charge to us. Fantastic! read more

I can't say enough great things about Anchor Blinds. . . but here are a few: 1) I called to schedule an in-home estimate and was scheduled for the next day. I called another company, just for due dilligence, and their first appointment was three weeks away. I'm impatient, but right there that told me something about the level of customer service I'd receive with Anchor Blinds. 2) The consultation itself was great--I was shown a lot of options and everything was explained very thoroughly. Without even getting any other estimates I just went for it--I trusted Anchor completely after that first meeting. 3) Only two weeks after that my blinds were installed--quickly, professionally, and without any issues. I was SO glad for the suggestions Armi gave me because my blinds look amazing in my home--it's some of the best money I've ever spent. 4) And AFTER the install Armi stopped by to check on the work and make sure there were no problems. Seriously--have you been privileged to have that kind of customer service anywhere else, EVER? I have not, and that is why I can recommend Anchor Blinds to anyone with the utmost confidence. I am so happy that I read the reviews on Yelp because that's what swayed me to call them in the first place, and I hope this does the same--you'll be so happy with the work!! read more
