I had the pleasure of working with Sonja to outfit our 14 oddly shaped/different sized windows in our new construction townhouse. I was slightly apprehensive due to the two-toned nature of our windows (a top portion separated by dry wall into a large bottom portion) and couldn't envision blinds very well but so glad I put my trust into Sonja because they came out wonderful. She came out a handful of times, properly masked to take measurements of our windows. We recently used Seattle Design Solutions for the window treatments and closetsfor our new home. We had an option to work with our builder's vendor, but decided to get quotes from other vendors. We found that SDS had very competitive rates and a wide selection of window treatments. On top of that they also were able to do custom closets and guide us with the design. For the window treatment we went with 2" wood blinds for most windows but did roller blades on some and sliding panels on the patio door. Sonja and Connie delivered on their promise and the end result was something my wife and I admire every day. Checkout pictures of roller shades with wood valance and 2" blinds w/ no holes. For the closets, we wanted a look very similar to calfornia closets but without paying the high price. In total we got 3 walk-in closets (one in the master bedroom is rather huge) plus shelves in the pantry and also in the laundry room. The space looks very functional and quality of material used is excellent. Overall SDS provided us extremely professional service and our experience with them was a pleasant one. I did a lot of research on different companies when we were looking for window coverings because they have such a big impact on a home. We ended up interviewing and getting quotes from 6 local places and decided on Seattle Design Solutions. On pricing, they were right in the middle, although they had all the style/color/texture selection that all the others offered.
