If you browse around and look at their more recent reviews you will find a concerning trend that I can 100% attest to. It is simply impossible to get a response from this business no matter how you try to reach out. While we had a few different quotes from other businesses we could have gone with, following Daniel's in-person visit we figured we'd give Seattle Custom Blinds. Big. Mistake. From then on things quickly went downhill. It took several months before our simple project was finally completed and nearly 100 emails until I finally had my blinds installed. And that's not to mention the several incorrectly placed orders that continuously delayed things. We gave them as much slack as humanly possible the entire time but they took advantage of that and every day that went by it seemed like they were actively trying to find new ways to waste my time. When it was all said and done, I ended up being the one having to install the smart integration myself since Seattle Custom Blinds apparently couldn't quite figure out how to order the necessary parts (I had paid for) from whoever their supplier was. Mind you... them offering that as part of the package was one of the reasons why I chose to give them the business. It has been a few months since we FINALLY got our blinds installed but I'm leaving this review now because the remote that came with them broke and I wanted to grab a new one so I have been trying to get in touch with them and what do you know? Zero response! Our blinds had a lot of minor issues following the installation and I honestly didn't even bother trying to get a response from Daniel since I am convinced they will never respond to former customer emails after our experience with them. Seriously... there are many other blind installers in our area. Most are very professional. The majority will carry the exact same product or better. They will likely not mess up your order 100 times for no apparent reason. And I guarantee they will all be more responsive and easy to work with. Leaving this review because it's been impossible to get an answer via email or phone regarding a replacement blind. I reached out initially at the end of August to get someone to come fix a faulty blind and wasn't able to get anyone to come until early October, at which point I was told that a new blind had to be ordered since the current one is not fixable. Since then, I followed up 3 times with no response and on the 4th try, Daniel assured me that he would check on the status of the order and let me know about it the next day. That was November 15th. It's been over a month now and I've tried to follow up via email twice and also tried calling once and was sent to voicemail. No response on either front. It feels like I'm pulling teeth trying to get this thing replaced and, honestly, it also felt like this throughout the entire time we've been working with this company to get blinds done -- I feel like I always have to reach out multiple times to get a response on things. read more

Seattle Custom Blinds installed blinds in my home in 2019. One of the strings broke and I called them three times in Oct 2023 with no response. I sent an e-mail in Dec and they responded with a request for pictures, which I sent. In Feb, I got an e-mail saying the "manufacturer approved the remake and it's now being manufactured". In March, I sent an e-mail asking for an update, I got a call from Daniel to schedule a date to install the new blind - scheduled for May 8th. I then got an e-mail saying the manufacturer wants Seattle Custom Blinds to try to retie the string and that my blind is considered an "out of spec" order and they needed to try to fix the blind before the manufacturer would approve the order. They came and tried to restring the blind but the string is shorter now and the blind is lopsided. I asked what now - response from Seattle Blinds was that Graber (the manufacturer) said it was no longer under warranty. Why did I get an e-mail saying "manufacturer approved the remake and it's being manufactured" and then a call to schedule a date. And another saying the manufacturer wanted Seattle Custom Blinds to "try to fix the string before approving it". This is truly disappointing, not just that they won't fix the blind but that it's taken over six months of back and forth for what I thought was an approved fix to find out that it's now not covered under the warranty, what happened to "manufacturer approved the remake and it's now being manufactured". Very bad customer service and now stuck with a lopsided blind. read more

He brought all the color choices to the house and we were able to see the options right there rather than online or away from the house or through pictures. My wife and I recently moved into a new home and were looking to add blinds to several windows throughout the house. We contacted Daniel at Seattle Custom Blinds for a consultation. We set the date and Daniel was flexible to our schedules (he came out on a Friday evening!). We had several questions during our consultation and Daniel answered our questions and helped us to find the most cost-effective solution for our blind purchase. He absolutely did not pressure us into any make or model of blind, but offered us advice on the different types of blinds and why some blinds were significantly more expensive than others. We set a date once the blinds arrived and he came to install himself with an assistant (once again on a Friday evening!). Daniel worked quick and efficiently and the blinds looked spectacular.
