I am very happy with my experience with Anchor Blinds. Beginning to end everything was efficient and professional. I had to do a little extra work at the end to block 100% of the light but it was reasonable. The drywall was not framed perfectly square and I can be quite OCD. We were blown away by our experience with Anchor Blinds. From start to finish they were nothing but consummate professionals. Wyman and the team first did a consult where they came to our home and spent a couple of hours measuring everything, discussing options and colors with us, and giving us a quote right then and there for the total costs. Over the next couple of weeks, they worked with us to adjust things based on our particular needs (blackout curtains in some locations, bidirectional blinds in others, etc. etc.). I found Anchor Blinds through a neighborhood FB group and a few folks had mentioned them and that they had great customer service. I got quotes from a different company that was slightly cheaper but the folks that reached out to me from this other company seemed unprofessional. Everyone I've talked to at Anchor Blinds has been great, from the front desk manager, Lucy, to Armi, the design consultant and the guys who installed our blinds, Wyman and Brandon. We were given a longer estimate for when our blinds would arrive due to supply shortage but were pleasantly surprised when it came earlier than expected. We were then reached out to right away when the blinds arrived and was able to install it within a few days of them having been ready. We are so pleased with the work that they did. Armi was great to work with-she brought up questions about how we use the room and gave great suggestions on what type of shades (color, light filtering level) to use. Amazing company. This review is long overdue and I'm sorry I took this long but life has been a little crazy lately. Where do I start with this company? Firstly, let me highlight their responsiveness and attention to detail. They came to my house a few days after I closed to take measurements and give me recommendations for window treatments. This of course was in addition to the online correspondence we had beforehand. I sent them photos of all the windows, let them know my preferences, and got recommendations beforehand. When the talented Armi came to my house to take measurements and give me recommendations, I was impressed by all her ideas and expertise. She knows exactly what she is doing and has great taste. Everything she recommended was spot on. Secondly, I want to highlight this company's safety precautions during Covid-19. Anyone from this company who entered my house required that we all wear masks and have our temperatures taken beforehand. I even had to sign a contract stating that I would be willing to wear a mask and have my temperature taken (no brainer for me). I waited several weeks for my window treatments to finally come in, but the wait was worth it. I received an email right when my treatments came in, and installment was schedule for the very next day. Finally, Wyman and an extremely helpful young man (I'm sorry for not remembering his name - he was wonderful) came to install the window treatments on a Saturday. They wore masks, took temperatures, removed their shoes and expertly and efficiently installed all my shades. They explained how all the shades worked and cleaned up after themselves, even vacuuming any debris left over by the unpacking of the shades. I have been using Anchor Blinds for two of my houses. I have been receiving great in-home consulting. They care more about what I need and how I envision to use the space. They have clear prioritization framework which make decisions making so much easier. And their installation has been reliable. The only thing I don't like is the motor option on the honeycomb blind( not their fault, it is the product itself). The battery run out super fast. Armi had excellent suggestions on what shades were best in which rooms and how to have the whole house look coordinated when we had the whole project complete. The color she chose was Perfect and the final product is exactly what we wanted but couldn't achieve ourselves. We have a variety of different types, some motorized, some manual top down, bottom up and some conventional pulley ones. We had to do the ordering process from afar before we moved, the staff were very communicative and efficient in the ordering process. The installers were excellent, they were punctual, very covid conscious (they took our temps and theirs before walking in, took off shoes, kept adequate distance from us) and they were super fast. There was a problem with one of the motors and one of the blinds came with a small blemish (both factory problems, not Anchor Blinds problems) and they noticed and replaced them both immediately.
