However, a few weeks after moving out, I was charged $1,500 for repainting the walls and bathtub resurfacing, plus an additional $300 cleaning fee.I spent an entire day cleaning the apartment before leaving, and it honestly looked cleaner than when I first moved in. I tried to dispute the charges, but since I did not have anything in writing and was not present during the move-out inspection, I ended up having to pay the full amount. If you are currently living here, I strongly recommend being present during the move-out inspection and documenting everything. I am almost certain they attached photos they submitted was NOT from my apartment. (They claimed that our door was broken, which it absolutely was not.) I truly enjoyed living here, but the move-out experience was extremely disappointing. It felt like they were trying to charge as much as possible at the end.

Security is a major problem. Homeless people regularly get into the building, go through the trash, sleep in stairwells, and sometimes act aggressively toward residents. Cars have been broken into multiple times. We are told to call an after hours security line, but they either do not answer or say no one is available. It makes many of us feel unsafe. Packages are often stolen from outside apartment doors and the mail room. The rooftop and trash rooms are dirty, and trash is not handled properly. There are frequent water and gas shut offs, sometimes with barely any notice, yet we still pay very high utility fees. Management is slow to respond and often sends copy and paste replies instead of actually fixing problems. Broken gates and doors can stay unfixed for months. On top of that, short term rentals like Airbnb have brought loud parties and more damage to common areas. The rent is extremely expensive for how many issues there are. If you are thinking about moving here, I would seriously reconsider.

I had some moisture in my bathroom ceiling and she had a vendor come out and drill a hole in the ceiling, just to inspect everything and ensure it was nothing serious. Fortunately it turned out to be ok. But that she caught it, and went out of her way to correct it was really considerate. Every concern I raised, she has directly addressed in a nuanced and thoughtful manner, and what she steps she is taking to rectify. I walked away with thinking she really cares about your experience as a tenant, whether you are old or new. She has always heard my thoughts and suggestions, and never waived me off. I hope they make her the permanent property manager. Leasing agent Noemi has also been helpful in quickly getting back to me about pending work orders. Raul has been really helpful, in changing my carpet to hardwood and giving the entire unit a paint job, and just staying on top of everything. Bottom line, they really do care about my experience living here as a tenant, in a hotel/hospitality sense. They also just had an upgrade to the ADF closets done by A T & T, for faster internet speed. They will always focus on a solution and what they can do for you, as opposed to no to this, no to that, etc. Attitude is everything! The pool has a beautiful view of the skyline at sunset. There are so many LA properties that smile up until you move in, and then turn around and completely change, and treat you horribly. The rental rates here are very reasonable. Location wise - Visconti is unbeatable, because it is outside of the financial district, so it is pretty quiet. You are within a mile of Staples Center, Walt Disney concert hall, echo park, silverlake, and 2-3 miles away from little tokyo and koreatown, home to some of the best restaurants in California. I recommend to anyone looking to live in LA to give Visconti a try.

Before, I had asked about carpet cleaning and never really received proper information or assistance. But since the new management team arrived, everything has been streamlined and taken care of efficiently. It honestly makes such a difference when management genuinely cares. I'm so grateful for their hard work, positivity, and professionalism. It's rare to find a place where you feel heard and supported. Youd think when they're building a new building, they would add more parking in a secured garage. There's no storage units on site other than those small lockers you can't even put A Bag in. Second, the location is horrible. The only reason I chose this place is because I moved last second and needed to find something instead of paying more hotel fees. This place was brand new and looked promising so I gave it a chance. It's in Inglewood so do what you want with that Information. It's nothing but traffic due to all the events that go on Everybody speeds on La Brea as I'm typing this review two people lost their lives today on La Brea speeding so this isn't common. This is normal. If you think you're going to have guests, friends and family come visit you good luck. If there is no parking for you What makes you think there is parking for your Guests? Nobody visited me just because of that reason that there's no parking. And if they do find parking it didn't feel secure which I don't blame them. Third the residence here are grown adults who need to be reminded what is common courtesy and rules are, which is insane. It smells like weed majority of the time. Nobody cleans up after themselves or their pets. The gym has to get constantly cleaned up because people use equipment and don't know how to put it away. Hence the signs everywhere. Some of the people here are literally on drugs and let their dogs bark throughout the whole day and don't do anything about it. Anybody can get into this building as there are people who sneak into the building they don't even live here which is very concerning. There's always email blast, reminding people not to break rules and to follow the rules which is insane because these are grown adults and why are they being told not to break rules? It's just common sense as an adult. You don't break rules and mistreat the place you're living at I've literally seen people throw garbage and litter in the garage and outside the building and then walk back inside like nothing happened.. People use the building as a bathroom. I've seen homeless sleep in front of the doors multiple times and nothing usually gets done about it. Last but not least don't let the term "luxury" fool you these places like to say they're luxury apartments but this place is not luxury living. Having a home is a luxury, yes but throwing the term luxury is very loose over here. The units are not all that they're decent. The only thing I liked about mine is it was open. The bedrooms are small. The bathrooms are small. There's nowhere to put your shampoos or soaps in the shower and if you do want to put up your own shelving with adhesive tape for your bathrooms, good luck as the tiles are grooved and nothing sticks, and everything will fall down. The closets are decent sizes but still inside of the bathroom, which is weird. A closet should be separated from the bathroom the kitchen is not a kitchen. It's just the entryway that has a stove, microwave and a fridge slapped into the wall. There is nowhere to cook. There's no island and you can literally touch the ceiling in the Kitchen standing up. The smoke Alarm is right by the stove so if you even turn the stove on and preheat your pan. The smoke alarm will go off. I barely got to cook living here just because of that reason. you will always hear a smoke alarm throughout the day because people are cooking and it's right by the stove. I would not recommend anyone to live here as they accept anyone and approve everybody because they're trying to fill a quota. Many people move out and don't renew their lease for a reason.

My husband and I have lived in a half dozen apartments all around the country, but Kingsley was undoubtedly our best experience ever: so clean, peaceful, and QUIET. Anyone who's been thru this side of KTown knows these streets can get very noisy, but the windows did a great job of blocking out sounds. (Only recently had noisy neighbors move in, which stopped once we politely knocked to let them know.) Everyone here is friendly and it's a family environment. It's a very small place (only like 70 or 80 units), and it always felt so refreshing coming home to the natural, open air layout and the water sounds. I've also never felt more safe and secure in an apartment community than I did here. There were times I came home alone late at night or forgot to lock the door before bed and never panicked about it because nothing happened. We moved in right as they were switching management, and Paul is the BEST. We've never met a more kind, helpful and efficient apartment manager. (Once while getting ready to go to my own bday dinner, I accidentally locked myself out of our apartment with nothing but my phone and pajamas, and Paul very kindly came to my rescue even after-hours!) He kept the entire place up to the standard that was advertised to us in the tour. What you see there is truly what you get. The only way to level it up would be to maybe have a monthly calendar of neighbor social activities. Our hearts genuinely ache to leave, but we're even more thankful for this experience! Serious Unit Issues (Documented) * Black/dark water from faucet (photo documented), major concern for plumbing/water quality * The toilet never worked properly all year, with frequent flushing issues that never fully resolved. * AC broken for ~2 months (Aug-Oct), multiple failed repair attempts before it was fixed. * Ongoing gnat infestation since January 01/2026, tied to other units, still not resolved as of 04/13/26. * Kitchen + bathroom sink leaks damaged personal property * Refrigerator failure at move-in ruined food and medications Current Issue (No Water, No Notice) As of today, 4/13/26, there is no water in the building with zero advance notice. The maintenance office could not provide an explanation or a timeline. This is not an isolated issue; it reflects the same pattern of poor communication and lack of coordination. Building & Amenity Problems * Elevators are frequently out of service and extremely slow, 1 is currently out of service as of today, 4/13/26 * Garage gates have repeated malfunctions * "Trash valet" skips Friday & Saturday trash sits in hallways all weekend * Furniture and bulk waste left in common areas for days * Residents regularly allow pets to urinate in hallways (no enforcement) Forced Internet = Unreliable You are required to use Spectrum.
