Fantastic addition to north Bethlehem restaurants, and a great partner for its neighbor, One Third. The restaurant was quiet, which can be a bad sign, but I was not disappointed. The food was excellent, the service friendly...although a little slow. But given that the lamb meatballs and kebabs were made from scratch this was ok. The doner kebabs are the best I've tasted in the USA and very close to those I've had in Europe ...the meat very well seasoned and tasty. The menu has some good variety and I will definitely be back. Anyone who enjoys trying different food will find good variety here; all served fresh, of high quality and at a good price. The food here is great while the service is definitely not. I have never had an experience that waitress took away my plate without asking me whether I have finished or not. Our seats are located at bar. I can understand being the only person working at bar can be overwhelming, but still, there are no reason that the waitress can take away our unfinished plates without asking. read more

One of the best places for Turkish food in Lehigh Valley. I've personally gone there several times. Food is authentic fresh and very pleasant owner. You should try their Ayran (yogurt drink) which is made fresh and very delicious. Lamb was tender and juicy. Their pizzas are unique and savory. Highly recommended. I guess I am a little spoiled living near Philadelphia and having eaten Mediterranean food in Detroit many times so my hope was this would be a great food experience but I found the baba to be pretty bland and very acidic, the humus was ok (more pastry than creamy) and the shepherd's salad was really bland. The Greek salad was basically bland as well and the chicken and lamb kabob meat that I added to it was really nothing special (lacked seasoning and flavor). I am not familiar with this area so I would guess their may be better places to go to for Mediterranean food but I will not be back. read more

Top-notch food, variety, freshly made. Very clean, friendly staff. Recommend the mixed appetizer plate. Small is perfect for two, large is for more lrople. The mixed grilled meat platter is good and generous. Must have dessert: kunefe. I am NOT one for sweets and this is not that. Rather, has a nice crunch and lovely, gooey cheese. Amazing Turkish food. Some of our favorites are the haydari ( yogurt dip) esme ( tomato peppers spicy and so flavorful) any of the kebabs, the sandwiches and the Turkish dumplings. Our son loves the pida's owners are super nice and accommodating. Service can be a little slow at times but it is totally worth it. I've never had a bad meal here and always look forward to dinner here. Portions are good, not too small and not too much. Meat on kebabs is always seasoned very well. Their garlic yogurt sauce is to die for and I love the small salad that accompanies the meal with the pickled onions. Love this place! The food is exceptionally authentic, fresh and delicious. The appetizer plate is awesome!!! Room for improvement goes to the speed of service and also need to clarify the menu (it's hard to always know what you're getting) I've never had a bad meal here and they have B.Y.O.B. and I believe there is no corkage fee. We've brought and have seen many patrons bring their own bottle and enjoy a fabulous meal! Update 10/2017 I had to remove a star as I find it can be Hit or miss here in that you don't always know what you're ordering. The menu is hard to navigate since it's written primordially in Turkish. The dish I normally get is sometimes not great and I came to find out is not made in the restaurant. On one occasion the kibbeh which is fried was frozen in the middle! The Pide is just gross in my opinion.. it's just a thick flatbread with meat and cheese toppings sort of like an open face calzone. Other than these glitches you're still going to enjoy delicious salads, kabobs and an AMAZING mixed appetizer platter!!! The salad is also Superb!! And yes, we'll still be coming back! read more

I was surprised to find this gem near Allentown. I hadn't had Iskenderun Kebab (my favorite) for 3 years since it's surprisingly hard to find! I ordered the chicken shish dish. The dish came with chicken shish, two salads, white rice , and some bread. The rice was out of this world, it was buttery and tasted absolutely amazing. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. However the chicken seemed to be a bit undercooked. The salads were absolutely delicious and good compliments to the rice. The bread that was given to us in the beginning was fluffy and light and was very yummy. More bread was brought out to us that was different afterwards , it was flat and tasted almost chalky. Succulent, delicious, memorable lamb. Their plate of mixed appetizers [KARISIK MEZE TABAGI] was superb and plentiful enough for two with lots of warmed pita carefully sliced into bite-sized portions. Only one item is spicy hot and it's REDDISH and called EZME. The service was fast, polite and perfect. The two desserts exceeded my expectation: KADAYIF [shredded wheat-crushed pistachios and syrup] and a Turkish Crème Brûlée [KAZANDIBI] that was the best creme brulee I ever had. If you have never eaten Turkish food, this should be your first experience, It's a quiet restaurant with real Turkish music [including my favorite Turkish singer, Sertab Erener] played softly in the background, so you can have a very pleasant conversation and a memorable experience. read more

I have been to nearly every Mediterranean restaurant in the Lehigh Valley and this place is tops in it's cuisine class. Everything is so fresh and delicious. Their hummus and other dips are wonderful. The kabobs are juicy and well seasoned. The rice (with chick peas in it) is excellent. The shepherds salad is the best in the Valley. If you like Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine, this place is a must try. It's very reasonably priced. Not fancy at all. It's in a small strip mall, so you're not going for the ambiance. I'm now going here at least twice a month for lunch since it's very close to my office. Lunch prices and portions are a total value. Go now! Enjoy! read more

This place is off the hook. Went there on a Wednesday night and it was quite crowded. A small restaurant with 6 booths and a few tables. Had to wait a few before seated. Ordered lamb chops. Lamb kabob and a gyro. After a few minutes of waiting. I was able to chow down on the food. It was delightful and savory. All the lamb products have wonderful seasoning and I probably could have eaten double what I ordered. The only reason why I gave it 4/5 stars was for the music. I know they are trying to be traditional but it was a little too loud for my taste. I will be back there later next week read more

I ate there twice in the past month, both times ending up with some digestive issues. This isn't the first time that I've had Turkish or Mediterranean food, or even the first time in the Lehigh Valley, but the first time having food this bland. Perhaps the owner has lost his Turkish touch. On my first visit, I ordered a falafel sandwich and lentil soup. The cook asked me what sauce I wanted. I asked that he prepare it the way he would for guests. He explained that some people want humus, some want tsiziki sauce, and some want cucumber sauce. I asked again that he prepare it the typical way. When he seemed confused, I explained that I'd like it the way he would prepare it in Turkey, or if customers didn't make a preference. He just seemed confused and gave me humus spread. The falafel did not appear to include any spices -- it could have been prepared at Wegman's. The lentil soup was likewise bland. On my next visit, I ordered stuffed grape leaves and chicken shish kebab. The gape leaves had a bitter taste. The rice was watery, suggesting that they were sitting in cold storage for several days. (Fantastic grape leaves can be had at Elias' Farmers Market across the street for 25 cents each, but I digress.) The shish kebab tasted like the meat was recently reheated, perhaps in the microwave, and lacked any flair. The service is friendly but uninspired as is the cooking. The wind blows through the entire restaurant whenever someone opens a door. If they are hoping to get eat-in traffic, perhaps they should put a barrier up as One Third does. read more
