We usually go to the restaurant for dinner and we always get the kabobs dinner. Last night my boyfriend got us the beef and chicken wraps delivered. Oh my, they were sooo good!!! I ate lots of lavash bread and hummus, which is also amazing, so I could save half of my sandwich for tonight. The size of the bread was unbelievable, we were only able to eat less than half! I am so happy that we have them close by in Somersworth. The service is always great and the food is always wonderful. We had the lamb adana and the chicken kabob. The lamb adana was good, It tasted like it may have been mixed with a lttle ground beef, ( it is possible it was full lamb, maybe a different type) and it needed a little more seasoning. But overall, it was very good. I liked that the rest of the food, from appetizers to the rest of the meal, the sides were delicious as well and s were perfectly seasoned, how it is meant to be. We enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Anatolia this past Friday evening. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was busy but not overwhelming. The appetizers came out quick and our main courses came out quickly too. The food was delicious. My only complaints are that not all the specials were given to me before we ordered. And for some reason Anatolia has a limited dessert list. Baklava is nice but choices would be nice too. We'll certainly be back because we love their food. read more

I chose this restaurant because I was hungry after losing some money at the Dover poker hall. I was surprised to find a Yelp 5 star place so nearby so even though I wasn't looking to eat Mediterranean food I figured I give it a try. There was surprising lots of open street parking near the restaurant and I actually thought the restaurant was closed as I saw a restaurant with all the lights off and no one there near the sign. But after reading the sign a little bit better I realized the restaurant was tucked away under and behind the restaurant that was closed. When I walked down the stairs I saw some people in the restaurant but was really confused by signage as there was old railroad signs and no Anatolia sign anywhere. I entered cautiously and found I was at the right place. The restaurant wasn't too busy and I was seated quickly and was given a rundown of the menu and the special of the day. The waitress was very helpful and I was hungry so I ordered two appetizers, the cheese pasty rolls and the Portobello mushroom. Both the appetizers were really good, the sauces went really well with the dishes as did the sprinkles of paprika. I ordered the beef shish kebab and it was pretty good. I think I had buyer's remorse as I think I should have tried the special as I think it was a little different from what I got and I think I just went with the safe order. The two appetizers and the main was enough for me but I also wanted to try to the pistachio baklava so I ordered one to go. I ate the baklava at my hotel later and it was very good. Overall, I think the quality and flavor of the food was A+, service was very good, and the pricing was very reasonable for a possible date night dinner to impress. I was told by another customer that the lentil soup was great as was the house huge bread and the hummus. More things I need to try next time. Hands down, 5 stars! I've been looking for a Mediterranean place around the Seacoast. Came across this out of happenstance. It was a bit hard to find since it was downstairs from the main road but sooooo worth it. All the food was amazing and the service was friendly and attentive. Worth the 40 minute drive for us! They were also kind to put us in the side room where it was quieter for our kids. I've never had lavash bread but it's now my favorite bread compared to nann bread! And it's the size of a 12 inch pizza!!!! So fresh and went well with the appetizer sampler which I would highly recommend for a broad taste. Best baba ganoush I've tasted in years!!! My husband and I were so lucky to have Anatolia cater our wedding. When we were planning, we knew that one of our top priorities for the day was to have some stellar food - and as soon as we visited Anatolia's for the first time, there was no doubt that they were the perfect fit. For starters, we were blown away by everything we ate - which certainly would have been enough all on its own. But then we met Cynthia and Ali, the amazing team at Anatolia's. We truly can't say enough great things about them. They made sure every part of the process was attended to, while also being wonderful communicators and just so kind. They went well and above what was expected. It's now been a few weeks since the wedding, and we're still having people tell us how much they loved the food. We even had a few people say it was the best wedding food they've ever had! Between the great food and the fantastic service, I can't recommend Anatolia enough. Honestly, we all said we could have made a meal of the appetizers. So good! For our main meals, the girls both had kabobs (one lamb, one chicken) both were tender and flavorful. The guys both had the lamb saute. Tons of delicious food- we took home leftovers. For dessert we had both the walnut and the pistachio baklava. Everything was excellent! The restaurant is in an old railroad station and is a super cool well decorated building. Dim and quiet. One person in our party commented how nice it was that we could hear each other talking. What a gem of a place. Newly opened, about 6 weeks and I stopped by for lunch. Enjoyed the falafel, crisp outside, tender and moist inside. Great dipping sauce. I could have eaten a bunch of these as a meal itself. Lamb sautee and lamb kebab was also delicious. Both portions of meat were tender, flavorful and juicy. The lamb sautee had wonderful flavor of tomato and perfectly cooked veggies. The mashed potatoes were delicious and a surprise as they were orange and thought it was sweet potato but it wasn't. The lavash is cooked fresh and perfect for scooping up the various appetizer spreads - hummus, Mediterranean salsa (Acisiz Ezme), and tabouli. The grape leaves popped with fresh lemon. I ordered the doner kebab special and it was savory and delicious. The yogurt garlic sauce was a perfect complement to the shaved meat. My partner had the veggie flatbread which he also enjoyed (with a few pieces of my doner kebab on top). We had the Sekerpare dessert to go. Every single dish was cooked to perfection. For Lamb lovers, this is the place to go to. The drink menu does offer a good diversity of wines and cocktails and beer for everybody's preference. The service was fabulous. Friendly, on the spot and made sure we have a great time. The place itself has a true restaurant ambience to enjoy your meal.
