I booked a Brow Magic appointment with Tara, and overall I was happy with the service and my brows. My only disappointment was the timing. My appointment was scheduled for 3:45, and I arrived about 10 minutes early. Since there isn't a receptionist, I checked myself in and waited. Around 3:47, Tara popped her head out and let me know she'd need about 7 more minutes, which was completely understandable. However, it ended up being closer to 15 minutes. Around 4, she came out with her previous client, checked her out, and booked her next appointment before bringing me back. I totally understand that appointments can run over, and things happen, but I felt like there wasn't much acknowledgment of the delay or consideration for my time. Thankfully, I didn't have anywhere else I needed to be, but if I had, it could have been frustrating. I think what stood out to me most is that if I had shown up 15 minutes late, I likely would have been charged a fee or asked to reschedule. I believe that same respect for clients' time should go both ways. With that being said, I probably won't be back. The space was beautiful and the shop was cute though.

I…read moredidn't have to wait 4 months for an appointment as I would have with the instagram model club. Instead I chose a real industry expert that knew what would look fabulous even if I didn't. As a newbie to any permanent makeup and a tattoo, microblading virgin, I was understandably nervous . There was timely communication from first contact to appointment to confirmation. I knew exactly what to expect with masking and sanitation protocols for our safety throughout. Jane calmed my anxiety by explaining the entire process and each step as she artfully, safely, patiently and with the expertise of a professional in her craft since 1994, executed gorgeous, natural looking brows for me. She started like a Dr with medical history paperwork, taking my whole of humanity into consideration prior to getting into the meat and potatoes of the procedure which I appreciated! Jane assessed my face/canvas and drew what she believed would be beautiful for my structure and let me see for agreement. We proceeded to the microblading process and I feel it couldn't have gone better with knowing which parts would be painful vs rest breaks and the tlc I felt from Jane considering all my allergies and well being. I'm thrilled with the result and excited to see how the artfully crafted brows will look after healed. I had overplucked them in the past and they were uneven and thinned out. Penciling them in hasn't always produced an even well manicured effect. Embarrassing at times. Those worries are now over. I'd definitely recommend Jane as a real trained professional in this industry over a fad instagram star. She has an abundance of personality and whimsical charm.
