One this is certain...after you make a visit to Ana's Island Grill, you experience an overwhelming need to sleep. Not that the food is boring...it's anything but. But the food is super comfort-food, and will definitely make you feel the itis. Go for the katsu/coconut shrimp plate with the macaroni salad. Excellent flavor-if a little indulgent-and cheap, Ana's is a great place to head to if you're in the mood for some island flavor. Just be aware that the Main street construction in Euless makes it a little bit difficult to get to. read more

Great portions. Smalk place with only 2 people cooking and taking orders so the wait was a little long. The Otai drink has shredded fruit in it and is so refreshing. I had the Katsu chicken with Coconut Shrimp and it is the best. I really like the Katsu sauce. Order extra! The fried chicken had some dark meat which my hubby didn't care for but otherwise perfectly breaded. Macaroni salad is good. All plates seem to come with lots of white rice, a house salad, and macaroni salad. Don't care for the white rice but also tried the spam sushi, teriyaki chicken and beef which are very flavorful. Empty and not great for a Tues evening quick dinner. Prices are great, I also like the staff's willingness to pair together individual items I want to try in a combo. Though, I visit a lot of Hawaiian food service restaurants (I must, I am Hawaiian) and I have to say the quality of quality of the bbq chicken is great but everything else sucked. The coconut shrimp was deep fried too long and over cooked, the green salad was bland and straight store bought ranch, and the mac salad lacked flavor being straight mayo and pepper. Keep in mind, a good Mac salad is the cornerstone of any Hawaiian food joint. Back home in Hawaii if you don't have good Mac salad, you aren't in business. I also tried to order the Poke Bowl but it's only avail on Thurs and Fri. The place is a bit dirty and run down and little effort put forth to make it a pleasant place to eat. I've never really tired Hawaii food before, and I only ended up here because the place next door where I had intended to eat lunch was closed. After the fact I'm glad it was. I had the Kalua Pork plate and it was delicious. The people running the place were friendly and efficient. My food came quickly and was very reasonably priced. Hubby and I have been telling his bro how good Hawaiian food is and excited to try out Ana's cuz it's so close to home unlike L&L in Plano. Wow, the meat is extra saucy, super sweet and still kinda dry despite the globs of sauce. Lady taking our order was so rude. Hubby asked her a question about the menu and she heard the question wrong, gave him attitude and rolled her eyes. Then he had to reword his question and ask slowly. Little mom and pop shop. Came here for dinner, had the coconut shrimp, chicken and kalbi plate and the loco moco with mac salad. Coconut shrimp was homemade and tasty. Chicken was a little dry and kalbi was chewy but flavor was good. Loco moco was good, gravy was a little too goopy though and the rice was soggy. Wish it came with spam fried rice! I've had Hawaiian food in Hawaii and this is pretty close. They also have two-sided spam musubi (musubi with spam on both sides) I think the mac salad upset my stomach a bit later on in the evening though. Had the Otai drink as well - tasted like watermelon juice with fruit pieces in it, a little sweet for me. I may give this place another chance to try other items. read more

Family has had the coconut shrimp plate, kalua pork, spam musubi, Ahi poke (Thursdays and Fridays only), loco moco, and even the kids Island burgers and washed everything down with otai (watermelon + pineapple at this time of year) and it was all delicious! Food is good and the staff are always very nice but the weekend hours are horrible. I pretty much want to eat there every weekend for lunch but they don't open until 4 pm and are only open until 8 pm. They are closed on Sundays which sucks as well. I understand having a day off for rest and to spend time with family and friends but let's consider some different hours to not only feed you customers but to make some money! I don't give out 5 star ratings lightly, but dear gosh... the incredible taste of this food was reason enough to rate Ana's Island Grill a perfect score. I got the big Island Burger. My momma got the beef. I think we can both agree it was the best food we have ever had since our honeymoon to the tropical islands themselves. There was a little bit of a wait, but it's because the food is fresh. You can watch them make it. The place isn't huge either, but it's more than enough to sit down and enjoy your meal.
