A locally owned small business, the staff is always so cordial and attentive. The shop has a nice amount of seating available. They have a variety of choices from chips, smoothies, bionicos, raspados and soft serve ice cream. I want to say I've tried almost all their smoothie flavors and they all taste so good, I'm not sure if they're made with fresh fruit but they taste like it.
Came to Ana's Bionicos on a recommendation and the place did not disappoint. I ordered a bionicos party tray last minute for a party. They had it ready in an hour, and it turned out amazing. The fruit was fresh and juicy. The crème was lightly sweetened and mixed well with the variety of fruits cut up. Folks at my party all enjoyed the bionicos and even had seconds! I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a simple and delicious party pleaser. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great service and delicious food.
Used to come a lot when I was younger whenever I'd visit my family and my Tia brought us here, it's been years since we came again and I've been trying to find a place that makes the bionic crema just as great as Ana's and honestly after having it again no place is the same for me. We got the bionico with everything and the man was really helpful in telling me what it comes with. Again the crema is so good! There's some tables to sit at inside if you want to devour your order immediately.
Small Mom, and pop, biónico, fresh fruit, very sweet, while picked. Super clean, there's plenty to choose from the menu service was fast in and out very nice people. That work there I recommend you try Anna's biónico
After several years, this place is still great. There are lots of options, and you can pick & choose fruits and toppings. There's a healthy portion, well worth the price. Bionicos review: even though they didn't quite get the order right (I wanted raisins but no coconut), the bionicos was still delicious. Strawberries and mango was fresh, and the cream on top was delightful, even if it was a tad sweet for me. Service really stood out as top notch. There was a wait, but it was evening and there were only two people working. Cut them a break, hang out, and be tempted to order more while you wait.

We were at the Candle Light Bakery and noticed Ana's Bionicos next door. I've been curious as to what a bionico is. So, I yelped Ana's and found out that it's a fruity mix of creamy yumminess. Sad thing though, as much as I would have loved to try one, it's too sugary for me. But....there's other things to eat! There were tortas, cubano sandwiches & tostadas too! We each had a tostada. This place is one of my favorite place in my neighborhood that I can always rely on for a great treat. When I first came in here, I was just hoping to check out their ice cream selections at their ice cream counter. I do see them serving smoothies, juices, and other drinks. There are also sandwiches that can be made. If you ever get a chance, I would take a shot at their Ham & Bacon sandwich which only cost me $5.50 for a foot long. However I was curious about why the place was called Ana's Bionicos. There was no indication on what bionicos are for until I checked out on the Internet. I prefer the sweet cream over the yogurt because it's more tart and texture of the cream is more smoother. That fruit salad can consist of strawberries, cantaloupe, melon, and bananas mixed in with different assorted nuts and raisins. Then poured in with a healthy servings of either yogurt or sweet cream based on your choice. They have different sizes ranging from a small servings in a little box for $4.50 to a medium that is around $7 to a bigger party tray for about $50 (which do require advance notice). The Bionicos (By-O-Nickels) are awesome. It's great for dessert or you can treated as fruit salad for meals. It's one of my favorite treats whenever I would stopped here along with getting a papaya smoothie. I had to admit I had gone to many different Bobba tea shops and this place serves out the best papaya or mango smoothie I had ever tasted. Yes, it is a mighty high praise in what this place can do. The people that worked here always friendly and very welcoming. If I ever had a question, they are very patient with it in answering it. The place is very small with a TV showing Spanish tele-dramas on screen. There are also plenty of different traditional Mexican snacks and treats around the counter you can purchase. There's just so many to choose from for your desserts. Anywhere from a milkshake, ice cream shake, fruit juice drinks, and the ever popular bionicos. If you desire something other than desserts like sandwiches, chicken salad, or tortas, they served that as well. It's a little of everything, but just make sure you don't missed out Pina Colada smoothie, papaya shake, or the bionicos when you get a chance to stop by. read more
Ana's Bionicos is a small Mexican themed juice bar in Norwalk that carries reasonably priced milk shakes, salads, sandwiches, tortas, ice-creams, coffee and specialty items (bionico, raspados, diablito). It had been a long time that I'd not had a bionico (fruit salad topped with sweet cream and nuts) so I decided to get one a couple of days ago. Ana's Bionicos is located in a small strip mall on Rosecrans where parking is tight but manageable. Upon entering I saw that it was a primarily to-go place with a couple of tables to eat-in. Ordering was straightforward. I got a small bionico ($5.5) with everything to-go and then waited with the other two people who had ordered before me. I did not have to wait very long as the Bionico was ready in 5 minutes. Tate-wise it was very good. It had the standard fruits like apples, strawberries, mango and papaya topped with granola, sweet cream, coconut flakes and raisins. All the fruits were fresh and the sweet cream was definitely sweet but still not-to-sweet. The small serving size was also huge and it successfully satisfied my cravings. Pricewise it was in-line with the standard pricing for Bionico ($5.5 small, $8 medium and $11 large) that I've experienced in Torrance and Carson. Overall completely satisfied so will be back periodically to try some more stuff off their menu. read more

Need a place like this in WLA!! They use fresh fruit for their fruit smoothies and the prices are slightly better than Jamba Juice. Had the Diabilito for the first time and it did not disappoint! It was a bit too concentrated for my taste so I diluated it a bit with cold water and it was perfecto! The mango smoothie was great too and very refreshing. They also have Thrify ice-cream - 99 cents for a cone! As one of my friends puts it, 'that's 1992 prices!' The ladies were really friendly and the place is very clean - A rating! They accept credit cards and there's plenty of parking. read more

So, my second venture into Ana's Bionicos was due to hubby's need/want/hunger for cueritos (wouldn't touch the stuff myself), my boy's need/excitement to play the video games, and because it's right next door to Candle Light Bakery (our first stop at this particular shopping center) Ana's Bionicos is in the same shopping center as R & G's market (formally Crawford's) on Rosecrans and Studebaker. It's a small place with maybe 4 to 5 tables that seat 3-4 people each. There is an "entertainment wall" with video games, T.V., and one of those lose-your-money-really-fast-on-those-crane-grabby games. On the opposite wall from that is the "ice cream wall" where you can choose from your traditional American ice cream (ice cream sandwiches, cones, push pops) or your Mexican ice cream favorites (mango, coconut, walnut, vanilla, etc...). Hubby ordered the cueritos tostada for himself and a carnitas torta for me. Total order was $8.00 and some change. We decided to dine in to let the boy finish playing his video games. We didn't wait long for our food, but then again, we were the only ones dining in at the time. According to hubby, the cueritos were a bit on the soggy side, but that they were alright. My favorite part of the carnitas torta was the bread (hubby said it was the "real" torta bread, telera) flatter than the bollilo but just as soft. The carnitas were okay. It was moist and pull-apart-ish, but I thought it lacked in flavor just a bit. Avocado, lettuce, tomato, and jalepeno slices finished off the making of my torta. Hubby pulled the "Valentina" hot sauce from a small hot sauce table on the entertainment wall. The sauce had a really nice flavor, kinda smokey, nice heat. My first visit resulted in two Bionicos. One small with no strawberries or papaya for me, and a medium with everything (strawberries, apples, melon, papaya, bananas, raisins, coconut, granola...) for the rest of my fam bam. I forgot how much I paid, but the price is well worth the amount of fruit and goodness you get! So it's 11am at work and food is what's on topic, so I do my daily perusing on yelp to see if I can find anything appealing for the lunch hour. Ana's Bionicos got the lucky click today and based off the reviews, I decided to give it a shot. Figured I'd get myself a dollar BRC(easy on the cheese) and then have myself a go at what they call bionico. Now what is a bionico? "A bionico is a Mexican specialty fruit and cereal snack. Actually it makes a great breakfast or lunch. In the traditional version various fruits are used including Papaya, Banana, Apple, Mango, Melon. The fruit is cut into bite-sized pieces topped with granola, raisins and then sweetened milk is added." So after getting there, I glanced at the menu for a brief moment and then decided to get a medium bionico with creme(they also give you the option of yogurt or cottage cheese, I believe.) Since I was splitting it with my brother, I requested that we get the creme on the side. The bionico came with papaya, bananas, cantaloupe, apples, and strawberries, alongside also came some shredded coconut and raisins. The quality of the fruit was on par and the strawberries were on the sweeter side which is a good thing. Overall I'd give this place about a 3 to 4, so that makes it about 3.5 to be specific. Reason being is that I only got to try one item and that one item was pretty much just chopped up fruit with granola, raisins, and creme. The creme wasn't bad...Not too sure what it was, but I'm thinking it was sweetened condensed milk. It wasn't too sweet, but just sweet enough. Now that I think about it, I'd probably go with the yogurt just because it "sounds" a little healthier. All-in-all, my brother and I were satisfied. The medium came out to $8.25, I believe. That was more than enough for two, but was the right decision for us because the small was about $5.25. If you're craving a sorta healthy snack or dessert, it's worth a shot. read more
Bionicos, never heard of it or seen it, so in my world it didn't exist until I read Mike's review. Unlike everyone just reading his review and giving useful and cool votes, I actually went to the place to give it a try. Get up out of your seat and go to these awesome places you read about and THEN yessss there is a step two, REVIEW IT haha Anyways, pretty darn good. I also got it with sweet cream, the girl at the counter recommended it in a heart beat instead of the yogurt. I'm curious to taste it with yogurt though...hmmmmm....I guess next time. The fruit is freaking fresh and huge chucks. I loved it. You know, at yogurtland some of their fruits they just bust it out of the can and you can taste the added sugar madness in them too. That ain't cool yo, so I love how this place doesn't do that. I'm torn whether to give this place 4 or 5 stars. It was freaking good, but I'm not crazy about it like yogurtland or shaved ice, but I feel like I should be. I think it's because it's not as sweet as my sweet tooth would like it to be. Just a simple shop for juices and other common Mexican delectables. I ordered tostielotes; which is corn kernels served over tostitos with mayonnaise, cotija cheese, butter, and tapatio. They were decent but not the best. The prices are similar to those at other bionico stores but do seem kind of steep. read more

Customer service was very good but my order didn't look right on the day of my baby shower. I ordered 2 large fruit platters. It was supposed to have strawberries, pineapple, mango, and watermelon. They instead gave me papaya... without even consulting with me. Someone at my party questioned it too.... We spent a lot of money on this order and it wasn't what we got. A definite hole in the wall! My boyfriend and I visited this place in hopes to find good chamango. Fortunately, they had more to offer than just what we originally came for. For the two times I've been here, service is always on point. I have received a "welcome" and a genuine "thank you" on both visits and the servers are respectful (unlike other places) and always smiling even if they are having a hard time to explain what an item is to me! :) What we tried: - Pierna (pork) Torta: we originally wanted to try their carnitas torta, but we were told that they had sold out for the day. The nice lady behind the counter suggested this certain item & she guaranteed us that we wouldn't be disappointed! It was DELICIOUS. I personally don't like to eat pork, but it was really good. For the price of $5, the pierna torta was full of flavor w/ generous amount of meat & it comes with avocados too, so that's a plus! The bun they serve it on is delicious & I've learned from the server that they don't sell that certain bread in stores! - Elote: They serve their elotes in a cup (which I prefer) and fill it with mayo, cheese, butter and chili powder if you'd like. It's just as delicious as the ones in LA & just as affordable! - Chamango: One of the best I've ever tasted! I like that it isn't a smoothie-like texture and there's actual crushed ice inside & lots of mango bits on top! It's full of flavor and I highly recommend this item, especially on hot days! As a non-Mexican, I am all for trying new things. I am a Mexican food lover and whenever I get a chance, I like to ask questions about certain items I've never heard of before. Out of curiosity, I wanted to know what a Bionico was since apparently that's what they're known for, hence the name of the restaurant. The lady explained to me what it was and surprisingly gave me a sample! It was delicious! The coconut flakes tasted fresh, and so did the fruits! I'm very happy to have discovered this place for I will be back again (& again, & again!) This place offers great service, a clean environment, and affordable [great quality] items. I am so glad I found this place on Yelp. It was such a Hot day on Sunday, and I needed something to refresh my thirsty soul! (well stomach) Ordered the Coco Raspado and the Torta de pierna. YUM. This place is AMAZING! They make great sandwiches, using great ingredients tasting much better than any 'chain' sandwich shop. The bionicos are out of this world. I had never had one before, and then about 4 years ago a friend brought me here. I've gone back time and time again. I even refer complete strangers when I hear them asking about bionicos. They make their food the way YOU want it, substituting with options you can choose from an easy list. I've never had them mess up an order and I've always been happy when I leave. read more
