Awesome! in full disclosure, Dr. Cluff is my regular Dentist..However, Dr Cluff and her staff went above and beyond expectations this week when I encountered a Dental Emergency. I called after hours, and left a message, not knowing what else to do. Within Minutes Dr Cluff called me, assured me I would be taken care of, and arranged for me to be seen first thing. Very very happy with my experiences with this office and so is my husband! The staff are so nice and really get to know their patients! Today I had a cleaning and they offered me an additional laser treatment that I really wanted to get, but my insurance doesn't cover it so I'll get it next time when I have a little more money. Anyways, when I told them they had NO problem removing it from that days plan and just doing the regular cleaning. Which doesn't happen with dentists that's much. Dr. Ana Cluff and her wonderful staff have made a two year journey of repairing my smile and ensuring the longevity of my teeth fairly painless on all levels (I walked in with a deep well earned fear of dentists; the staff worked around and through that issue with success). It has been a truly professional experience. Erica and front office staff are very responsive to scheduling into my availability. The check in process as well as check out is seamless, and any questions I have had about coverage in relation to procedures are answered quickly, thoroughly. I have enjoyed the replacement of a crown - yes! enjoyed, because it was completed within the same day, no waiting for a lab to get the product back. The crown is beautiful, blends in perfectly with my other teeth and the overall cost was very reasonable to me. I further have had all of my metallic/ugly/painful fillings that were 30+ years old replaced (it was a great and affordable experience with all of her new technology) and I no longer sport that metal field when I laugh... smooth blended tooth surfaces are all you'll see now! I actually now elect to get my teeth cleaned every 4 months as my Technician is gentle, but thorough, which means I am now a full partner in keeping my smile forever! My daughter was home from college for winter break and needed to be seen for a broken tooth. Her regular dentist examined her and said it would take 2 weeks to get the crown that was needed. My Mother is a long time patient of Dr Cluff's and recommended we see her. My daughter had an appointment today at 1pm and walked out of her office at 3:30pm with completed dental work and a new crown at half the price the other dentist quoted! Dr Cluff also recommended a change in preventive care with a different product for some ongoing concerns that other dentists have not taken the time to recommend. Hands down the best dentist I've ever been to. Then here 4 times now and every experience has been great.

My husband came to see the dentist on an emergency. His fixed bridge broke off from his front teeth. He was told his teeth were so bad they basically needed to be removed and dentures made. He called to tell me they wanted $10,000 dollars upfront. I explained that he had just been put on permanent disability ,due to Parkinson's along with orthostatic low blood pressure. We could not afford $10,000. She insisted they needed the money before he could be treated. I explained we had only Social Security. She said she could give us a discount to $8,521.25. Panicked ,I agreed to put $4,000 on a credit card. Wanted to see what I could do to find the money, or a cheaper dentist. Called to tell them we were scheduled for a second opinion. Found someone who would charge under $5,000 for same treatment. Requested they refund a portion of our cost. Told a complete set of dentures were made and They cost $4,000 and NO refund would be coming. We picked up the "dentures" and they are only the temporary ones. We will be filing a complaint with American Dental Assoc. Get a second opinion when they quote such High charges. read more

I visited the office for the 1st time today. A flyer I had received in the mail brought me in to inquire about Invisalign. There was a coupon for $500 off the treatment. I was quoted $4,900 because the office manager thought I was a cash patient. I do indeed have insurance and the office manager verified benefits but now the price was $5,800??!! Lastly, the coupon was not honored because I have insurance. No where on the flyer was that indicated. Very disappointed in this bait and switch maneuver. read more

I am a big baby when it comes to the dentist. I haven't been to a dentist for a while so now I have a ton of work to get done. This is a new dentist for me, so of course I was nervous, but chose this dentist due to the excellent comments they got on Yelp. I gave them 5 stars for the following reasons. Every person I came in contact with, listened to my concerns and did everything they could to make me feel comfortable. The dentist even gave my jaw a massage during treatment due to my TMJ. She let me take breaks during treatments so that I wouldn't get sore. She would give me more numbing medicine when I needed it. She listened to everything I said, even asking me how the concert was that I told her I was going to when she saw me again!! They are gentle during deep cleanings and fillings. They will give you a blanket for comfort if you want one. I am giving this review because I truly appreciate their kindness and professionalism. Plus I know my mouth is getting healthier with each visit. I still have dental work to be done, but I feel comfortable knowing I will be getting my treatment done here. read more

I am very disappointed in the customer service at Ana Cluff's Dental office. Not from the staff, but from the Dentist herself! I worked for her for aprox 6 months. I left because she couldn't offer me a full time position. No hard feelings. So I referred my fiancé to her because her work is good and its close in Lakeside. Plus we love the girls that work for her. I figured with me working there and then referring my fiancé to her she would at least do the right thing and take care of him. My fiancé had all of his amalgam fillings replaced with composite fillings. Purely cosmetic by the way. Since we don't have dental insurance he opted to enroll in a fee for service plan that she accepts at her office. So he ended up paying out of pocket over $1000 for these purely cosmetic procedures in July 2013. Ever since he got all the fillings replaced he has had discomfort that would "travel" from one quadrant to another. He was just dealing with the discomfort because this is typically something that happens with this type of filling. There was tooth sensitivity associated with most of his teeth but he could tolerate it. The past few days he had started experiencing cold sensitivity to one of the teeth. Even sensitivity when he breathed in cold air. I convinced him to go in and have her take a look at it and that maybe he would need to get a root canal. He did go in yesterday (12/17/2013) and she proceeded to replace the filling with another composite filling. Informing him that maybe the first one didn't seal right. When he gets up to leave, he is informed that he needs to pay ANOTHER $170 for this re-done filling!! I am completely in shock that she would replace a filling that she did less then 6 months ago and charge him again!! We will not be going to her anymore for our dental needs and will find a new office. Some of my family members are patients of hers as well so I think we will all be taking our business elsewhere as well. I knew that when I worked for her that she was greedy but this is an all time low and very unethical and unprofessional! read more
