The dental hygienist were also great. The dentist office had newer equipment and I sincerely enjoyed going to the dental office. However, as time passed I went in and a different dentist would attend me without explanation. Going to the dentist is already an unpleasant thing, and having a doctor I was unfamiliar with attend me without notice was something I didn't like. He seemed to get frustrated on one occasion when a crown would not sit properly in my mouth. They had to do another 3 d scan and remake it. I don't remember his name anymore, but I do remember feeling a bit uneasy in his care. At first I would get reminders and as time went on I began to have issues with my appointment not being scheduled properly. I would have to call to set up appointments because the staff failed to make them. The last straw for me was when I went in because of grinding my teeth and I was just rushed over to go see a specialist across the hall. I felt i was expected to understand the dental process, when I didn't, and I felt like staff was upset that I didn't want to make a decision when I didn't understand the process. I ended up changing dentist after that experience. The new dentist I went to explained it to me in a way I could understand. Now I wear a night retainer to alleviate some of the pressure on my teeth.

I had already been through the wringer and was distrusting of dentists from my negative experiences. Thankfully, as soon as I came in for my FREE Consultation with Dr. N , I was greeted with a smile and treated with the utmost respect. Her bedside manner is impeccable and she explained to me that my last dentist has made a mistake on my last appointment. The team at Dental Arts went into immediate action, getting me the care I needed in an efficient and professional manner, all the while being kind and supportive about the stressful situation I was experiencing. As of now, the team has taken care of fixing this mistake, honoring the lowest rate possible given by any HMO insurance, and even offered to keep me on an HMO discount plan after being laid off and losing coverage. I can not recommend them enough.

What I expected to be a straightforward evaluation quickly escalated into being told I needed a crown and was also advised that I would likely need a root canal. Given the limited nature of the issue, this recommendation felt excessive and was not supported with clear or convincing clinical evidence. I only came here because my dentist was closed for the holidays!!!! I was not shown cracks, extensive decay, or definitive signs of irreversible nerve damage that would normally justify such invasive treatment. Conservative options, such as replacing the filling first, were not meaningfully discussed. Instead, after a brief sensitivity test, I was presented with an extensive treatment plan that included a crown, core build-up with pins, a CBCT scan, and a root canal all at once. What was especially concerning is that the approach seemed to set patients up to pay for multiple major procedures separately!!!! I was told I needed a crown, but at the same time a root canal was recommended as a likely next step, meaning I could potentially pay for two different invasive procedures rather than being clearly told the most appropriate treatment from the beginning!!!!!! This lack of clarity made the process feel inefficient, costly, and unnecessary. The explanation felt rushed and left little room for thoughtful discussion or questions. It gave the impression that the treatment plan was pre-determined rather than based on a careful, step-by-step diagnostic process. Major, irreversible procedures were discussed before establishing whether less invasive options could reasonably resolve the problem. After the appointment, I took the time to read reviews for this office and noticed a consistent and concerning pattern. Many other patients describe nearly identical experiences being immediately directed toward crowns and root canals, along with additional procedures that insurance often does not cover. Seeing how closely those reviews mirrored my own experience raised serious concerns about the overall approach to treatment here. I left feeling pressured to agree to extensive and irreversible dental work without clear medical justification. Patients should be cautious, ask detailed questions, insist on clear explanations, and strongly consider getting a second opinion before agreeing to crowns or root canals at this office. I'm relieved I trusted my instincts before committing to unnecessary work. My regular dentist was able to fit me in. I showed my dentist everything they were charging me for and laughed!!! He said this was completely ridiculous

I needed a dentist for my husband, who had Alzheimer's. I spent a long time searching for someone…read morewho has up-to-date technologies, whose office is handicapped-accessible (it's amazing how many places are not), and who understood dementia and knew how to work with those in the later stages. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Mansour and his staff. For openers, their prices for exams, X-rays, and cleaning were far and away the least expensive of all the dentists I contacted. They made sure my husband felt comfortable, and were very kind and patient. It turned out my husband's teeth were in bad shape, the front teeth having been ground down from chewing with them since he hadn't been wearing his dentures. Dr Mansour discussed several options for new dentures with me, but eventually concluded my husband would not react well to any dentures at all and recommended that the front teeth be built up instead, using that new light-activated polymer for fillings. It was by far the least expensive alternative of those we'd discussed, and painless. And ... my husband clearly really liked Dr Mansour and was perfectly happy to go back to see him when needed. (And yes, even in the later stages, an Alzheimer's patient can and will remember bad experiences -- boy, can they!!! -- and exceptionally good experiences, too.)
