I want to start this by saying I came as a TRICARE referral as I am active duty Navy. I got in a car accident a while back and chipped my two front teeth, and got it filled by Navy Dentists. And most recently chipped my left front tooth. My referral was to get both my front teeth filled bc when I went to my Navy Dentist, I expressed concerns that my two front teeth were too short compared to what I had before I got in a car accident years ago. And I wanted to be able to rip a bag of chips open again with my front teeth. I know that may seem silly, but it's something that was important for me to have again. I told Ms Cluff the same thing about extending my teeth so they can touch my bottom teeth. This is all of maybe a couple millimeters. She told me my teeth are like that bc of my bite, and that bc of teeth grinding, it made it shorter. She also mentioned that I'm not in my 20s anymore and my teeth are different and she doesn't know why there is a referral to fill both teeth when I only chipped one. I tried to tell her multiple times that my top and bottom front teeth touched before and that's why my referral is for both teeth, and I'd like to fill my teeth so they touch like before. She continued to persuade me otherwise. I can understand on some level why she would, because she doesn't know my medical history, but as a patient I felt like I was not being heard. To the point where I considered just leaving. And right when that thought came, she said she would do it. I asked her to just do her best for my ask. She started to fill my teeth and it actually looked goofy at first but I was happy that my teeth were touching. She said it was before polishing it. So I trusted the process. Then she started polishing and started speaking Spanish to her assistant. Which made me uncomfortable bc it seemed like she was talking trash, given our previous interaction. Then she was done, and it seemed almost too quick? This is obviously compared to how long other dentists in the past would take to fill it. Then she said things like she's glad I'm happy with it and she hopes I don't crack it. Which I thought was weird but whatever I trusted that it is ok. I left and when I got home, I looked in the mirror and my right front tooth was noticeably larger than my left, also you could completely tell it was filled. Of the almost decade since my accident, the fillings I had were almost undetectable. I drove back to the office and saw Ms Ana to even out my teeth. She came in and said, "I told you" which I'm assuming is in reference to me wanting my teeth to touch. I told her I was there bc the right tooth was a lot bigger than the left and that I could feel the edges of the filling on the back of my teeth. She filed it down. She would show me the mirror, I'd tell her where I thought needed filing and then she would file and ask if it was good. When I would tell her where to file, she would audibly sigh, as if I am inconveniencing her. At this point I'm frustrated bc I'm telling a dentist how to even out my two front teeth. I told her I just want it natural looking and asked if it was even. She said "to me it is". I just had to get out of there bc it was evident that she did not care and just wanted to be done. Her staff was very nice and tried their best to make the experience good. However I think if you come here, and you sense that she is not in agreeance with what you would like your treatment plan to be, then leave. Because she WILL perform malicious compliance to your ask. Meaning you will get what you ask for but in the worse way possible bc it's not what she believes is right. I got my teeth to touch, but it looks plastered on and uneven. My right tooth is still bigger than my left. This is the first time in over a decade of having fillings done that it has been immediately noticeable, I can see what I can best describe as grooves in the filling. Thank God I have a referral to a different dentist to fix what was done. I do not recommend this dentist. read more

Good quality dental work, but the constant upselling has gotten out of control. Every visit seems to include new add-ons to the bill--$60 fluoride treatments, "pre-cancer screenings," and other charges that were never discussed or approved ahead of time. After each appointment, you're taken to a separate room where they pitch expensive prescription toothpaste, Invisalign, or other treatments that feel more like sales tactics than patient care. I've been coming here for a couple of years just for regular cleanings, but it's clear they're more focused on selling extras than simply providing honest preventive care. I just want a straightforward cleaning every six months without the pressure. read more

My initial interaction with everyone was pleasant and welcoming. Why I'm Disappointed Unfortunately, what started as a promising relationship turned into a disappointment during treatment planning. Having PPO insurance with 80% coverage for restorative work, I expected transparency and standard pricing. Instead, I encountered the Mandatory use of a desensitizer (Gluma) for fillings. This additional service isn't covered by insurance Was told the filling couldn't be done without it Treatment costs that seem inflated: Right side: $600 (filling + deep cleaning) Left side: $500 (deep cleaning) The Reality Check It's disheartening when a seemingly great dental office employs what feels like pressure tactics. While I respect their right to practice dentistry as they see fit, requiring non-covered services as "mandatory" raises concerns about their priorities. With reluctance, I'll be seeking a second opinion. A filling and partial deep cleaning shouldn't cost this much with insurance coverage. While I appreciate their professional approach, I need a dental office that respects patient choice and provides transparent pricing. Works within the standard insurance coverage. Sometimes the prettiest package doesn't contain what's best for you. read more

MILITARY members and family, please do not go to this place. Employee Cesar is very unpleasant to work with. This place is in-network with Active Duty Tricare, but Cesar kept insisting that I was not covered for my covered procedures, in addition to having Tricare on the phone with him. Tricare personnel verified that I was covered and informed him what needs to be done. He still kept going back and forth with the Tricare employee who was trying to assist. Further, my buddy who deployed with me who expected the same service, was forced into paying a covered procedure. This was after Cesar knew active military members are covered. He charged my buddy 1,500 for a procedure and when he was asked why the cost was that high, he apologized and said he meant to charge $500. This place is a scam and will trick you into paying out of pocket. Cesar told me that their insurance coordinator and will look into it, but I never received a call. All because I did not want to pay out of pocket. read more

Had a crown put in by Dr Cluff a few years back. I asked for and paid for gold. When it was delivered I said it looked funny because it wasn't gold colored. She insisted saying it was white gold. Interesting. Fast forward a few years and the crown started leaking. There was definite decay. Not a big deal it happens. My current dentist who I have been going to for years and trust cut the old crown out. He broke 5 drill bits trying to remove it. Said he's never seen any material for a crown like it. It isn't soft like it should be. Current dentist and his friend who is also a dentist, have been for over 30 years each both said the workmanship was nice. But, I would think if you paid for gold, you should get gold. Especially if the customer questions it from the get go. Material is too expensive to not get what you asked for. read more

I recently had a crown broke so I went back to Dr. Cluff's office. Her daughter, Daughter D (Diana) took care of me. She is so nice, explains everything so well and so professional, just like her mom!! The staff is awesome as well. I don't have dental insurance, only Medicare and it was quite pricey to do the repair and make a bridge, but they did give me a break on the price. I DO NOT recommend! They seem to care more about putting Implants into my mouth instead of taking care of the teeth I have. They don't check the numbers (meaning the measurement of pockets) therefore they keep getting larger to the point of having to have teeth extracted because of it. I was just there in march of this year for a cleaning and they did not check my gums for pockets nor last october for my yearly exam! Thank god I decided to see DR. Haeri (periodontist) as he found a 13mm and a 7mn pocket which I have to extract the 13mn tooth and have gum surgery to save the other plus a deep cleaning due to their INCOMPETENCE!
