I just want to say, like so many other people I am terrified of the dentist. Every single person I had come in contact with was so nice and so gentle about everything. As someone who works in customer service and professional environments, I can tell these people want to help and make you feel safe with them. They will be my forever dentists. I am so happy to have found such a nice team to work with. So this is my first time back to the dentist and years after a horrible experience with Western dances and let me tell you how it was ... From the jump, the receptionist were nice and accommodating, and very friendly, and made the check-in process super easy. When it was time to go back, I was given a tour of the facility shown everything from where they sterilize and sanitize to where they do different procedures and I was made to feel extremely comfortable with my surroundings . The first appointment was quick, and they quickly put together a treatment plan. I love how everything was broken down simple and to the point I also love how they broke down what I would have to pay out-of-pocket and let me tell you compared to other places and I am in with my insurance the pricing is pretty good. Had my second visit today for root canal and a few cavities. They doctor and her assistant did a fantastic job of making sure I was comfortable and distracted away from what was going on in my mouth. So, this is a pretty small office, it's kept clean and looks nice. They take care to make sure their patients are comfortable, and they ask you if you prefer for them to explain every little detail about your teeth or if you want them to just get to the point. I thought it was nice of them to ask how we prefer to be communicated with. The dentist was knowledgeable and did a good job explaining everything and lightening the mood (it's necessary when I'm about to get my wisdom teeth out! I love Dr. D (she's the daughter). I've been seeing her since the beginning and being one of those annoying patients who get severe anxiety at the thought of having to get dental work, she knows how to get your visit done fast while explaining what she is doing and why. I've never had any issues and when I called after an extraction like a crying baby, she assured me I was just a crying baby for no reason . And she was right like usual . I just hope that my review doesn't create too many patients so that I have to wait forever for an appointment. I drive by this place everyday on the way home. I needed a new dentist close to home. A crown that I had from a previous dentist 5 years ago came off. I was able to get an appointment same day. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I saw Dr Stephanie I was taken aback on how young she was. What I found was a chilling experience of terrible customer service. The dentist said I was not a good fit. Perhaps you don't care if your personal information is online and a target for ID theft. To begin with, I've been avoiding the dentist for the last few years. I have had bad to mediocre experiences with prior dental offices, but I knew I had to go in. After reviewing yelp, I decided to try Ana Cluff & Associates. This was one of the best decisions I've ever made! I needed a decent amount of work done, to include replacing a crown, and changing out three or four fillings. This, along with a deep cleaning required multiple shots of Novacaine and a lot of patience in the chair. in my 53 years, I've never been given Novacaine shots where I could NOT feel the needle. Dr. Diana Cluff used some type of black magic technique where she numbed me up and I never felt any pain. The dental work that was performed was great, and I finally am over my dentist anxiety. I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment in six months! I highly recommend this dental practice, and am a verysatisfied customer. The care provided was average. My gums hurt and bled afterwards. No biggie. My concern is mostly with the front office, as with most reviewers on here. Specifically Nicole, who is mentioned in other comments. It is time for her to find a new place of employment if you want to keep customers happy. She is beyond rude. Dr. Cluff, this is your practice. Please DON'T let your employees ruin it. I was very specific in what I needed for treatment when I switched to Dr. Cluff in January. I was told by her staff that everything was approved by my insurance. Procedures were done but they did not get approval for all the procedures I requested, leaving me to pay out of pocket. At this point it became "my fault" and her staff assumed no responsibility. Not only that, as others have mentioned, the rudeness came out. I attempted to schedule an appointment over the phone. The receptionist was insisting I take a date she had available, even when I repeatedly explained that the date would not work. She was not attentive neither was she a good listener. Her customer service skills are very poor. I finally asked whether she was listening to me. My initial experience her was great and I loved the dental hygienist. After my second side of the deep cleaning I was checking out with the front and asked about scheduling for the dental work and she said to do it at my next cleaning appointment. So I came in a few months later and asked about it, they said the cost has changed since we are in a new year and they would have to update the insurance rates. She said she would call me on the following Monday so I could stop in and go over the rates and schedule work. Never heard from anyone. Called over a week ago now and left a message to get updated cost and schedule the dental work and still have not heard back from anyone. Canceled my next cleaning appointment and will be finding a new dentist, apparently they do not need anymore patients. read more
