We stayed at this bed and breakfast over a weekend and had a great time. There are many great things about the place and a couple downsides. Read on and judge for yourself! Parking - there are actually 5-6 parking spots but if the lot is full it'll be a bit of practice backing out. Luckily there is a lot of great stuff within walking distance. Check in - super easy, walk in and ring a bell during check in time. Owners will greet you, show you the room and hand you a key. Rooms - some are in the main house (felt less private), and some are in the back. We ended up in the back corner room which was nice but we did hear other guests quite often on the wood deck. Carpeting wasn't very plush and hurt your feet without shoes on. Had an amazing jacuzzi tub, unfortunately ran out of hot water the second night and couldn't use it. My biggest gripe was that the thermostat was on some energy saving mode so that it ended up being 62 degrees all night. I woke up in the cold and turned the heat back on only to have it automatically dial the temperature back down repeatedly. I debated knocking another star off for this but the virtues of the Inn more than made up for the cold nights. Bed - Very comfortable, lots of soft pillows and extra blankets. Needed them with the unfortunate thermostat settings! Location - it is in a neighborhood on the outskirts of downtown on a semi busy street that people take to drive downtown. We never had trouble crossing the street, people are pretty nice about letting you walk since there are a ton of pedestrians in the town. Walk one minute to downtown, couldn't ask for a better location. Breakfast - This was the best part of the trip. Coffee is ready at 7:30 outside, and breakfast served at 8:30 at a community table in the main house. The food was great. Not the huge filling breakfast you'd get at most bed and breakfasts, but really excellent nonetheless. Nice ambiance. Perks - a wine pass to different wineries with 2 for 1 tastings in town or free tastings at the winery is included. There are bicycles available for use, an outdoor hot tub, refrigerator. So in summary it is a great place to stay due to location, perks, food, but to have trouble with the heater and not be comfortable the only time we were actually in the room is really unacceptable. If we ever go back to this part of Sonoma, we'd probably stay here again despite that. read more

What a wonderful find! We booked the Wysteria Room for a girls weekend and were very happy! The place was comfortable, less than a block from the plaza, quiet/relaxing, best shower, super clean, well decorated. We loved the breakfast delivered right to our back porch and the coffee was great (and delivered in a carafe!). The only minor (and I mean minor) inconvenience was the parking was quite tight, but you have a designated spot so we didnt have any trouble with my SUV. A full sized truck might have a little issue. Pro tip: had a hard time getting in contact via call/voicemail but the owners were super responsive to email, so if you have a question, I would recommend emailing them instead. Super helpful with changing our reservation and staff were extremely accommodating and nice. Overall, the most wonderful experience and we will definitely rebook next time we go back to Sonoma! read more

An Inn 2 Remember provided my wife and I with a honeymoon that we will never forget. Les and Kim welcomed us into their Inn and treated us like family. When we first arrived Kim spent about 45 minutes with us making sure we had enough information about restaurants, wineries, activities, etc. to enjoy our stay to the fullest. Les continued to check in with us in passing during the stay to see if there was anything that we needed to make our trip more enjoyable. A couple of the nights he even joined us around the fire pit for some great conversation! The location is perfectly located a half block from the square, and is in walking distance to all of the downtown Sonoma attractions. The room was very nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast each morning was delicious and we liked the fact that we sat at a table with other guests which gave us the opportunity to make new friends and share ideas of things to do in the area. My wife and I were gone for our honeymoon for over 2 weeks and were all over the west coast and the most fun we had all vacation was riding the bikes that Les and Kim provided to the nearby wineries. Speaking of wineries, a stay at the B&B comes with a pass for free tastings at local wineries. We attended close to 10 wineries and saved approximately $200 alone by using the pass. Other activities we enjoyed at the B&B was relaxing in the outside hot tub and sitting by the fire pit. We look forward to staying at An Inn 2 Remember for years to come! read more

This was the perfect place to stay for a relaxing weekend! Alice and Paolo were so nice and helpful, and the breakfast was a great way to start the day. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable, and we had parking right outside the door. As others have said it can be tight to get in and out when the lot is full, but we didn't have any difficulty. There is more than enough to do within walking distance to occupy a weekend and if you want to visit vineyards, many are within a 6 minute drive (they also have bikes that you can borrow at the inn). I want to say this place is a great little gem. we have stayed their twice. the service provided was excellent. it is in a great location too. we used their free bikes to ride around Sonoma and wine taste - it was truly perfect. We stayed both in the main house and the back rooms. I prefer the back rooms for privacy. Also they just switched to having meals delivered to your room and that was truly a wonderful experience! The inn was really nice. It is a block from Sonoma Plaza, has assigned parking spots and is very well maintained. We had the Cornflower room. Tall ceilings, nice bed, neat old doors, trim and plaster walls. Alice was very friendly. Suggested a wine tour before we came that was great. She also left us a beautiful breakfast tray every morning with delicious pastries, yogurt and granola and fresh cut-up fruit, as well as coffee and OJ. We brought the tray outside and enjoyed breakfast in the garden at cute tables with umbrellas. Great start to the day. We would definitely stay again. read more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night after a weekend in SF and wished we could have stayed longer! It's a perfect location in walking distance to the main square in Sonoma (restaurants, shops, etc.) and close to Sonoma Highway, which you need to take to most of the vineyards. What stands out above all was the kindness of the owners, Les and his wife. When we arrived, he took his time to go over a number of vineyards, tasting rooms and restaurants that he recommended based on our tastes. As New Yorkers leaving California in the wake of hurricane Sandy, they even offered us a discounted rate if our flights were cancelled, and we needed to stay longer (fortunately we didn't have to take them up on it). Our room was very clean and well-kept, and the bathroom was fully stocked with everything I needed (even makeup remover!), which was a pleasant surprise for a small inn. There was also a jacuzzi, fire pit and bikes to use. And last but not least, the breakfast was delicious! read more

Remember to be on time for breakfast! My husband and I stay in Sonoma each year for my birthday. Our favorite B&B was closed for renovations, so we decided to try An Inn 2 Remember. On our way up there, we stopped at a winery. We bought some wine and my husband put the bottles in the back of our SUV. He started to drive away from the winery without noticing that the trunk door popped back open and my over night bag accidentally fell out! We didn't know anything fell out until that night when we went to change. The winery was unfortunately closed by then! Early the next morning the winery called my husband, since he left a message on their answering machine the night before, and said they had my bag. It was 8:45 am, breakfast was at 9:00. My husband explained to the owner our situation and said that we would be late to breakfast since he had to go get my bag. She appeared very understanding. When he came back, I quickly changed my clothes and went to breakfast. This was sadly at 9:30. My husband knocked on the kitchen door to let her know we were ready to eat. She came out and looked at us unexpectedly, then told us that she would return to the kitchen and ask her husband if there was still time for him to make us something to eat. She quickly came back out and told us sorry, but he put all the food away! She offered us some cookies that were already left out (some Keebler elf shortbread cookies), coffee, said she was happy we found my bag, and returned back to the kitchen. I don't understand why they didn't have something already prepared for us, especially when my husband explained to the owner our situation and that we would be coming late. We were expecting her to say something like "sorry, your food is cold now, but let me go warm it up," instead of "sorry, you snooze you loose," attitude. I was already upset about losing my overnight bag on my birthday and then to be offered some store bought cookies and coffee for breakfast?? Mt first impression of the inn, I felt so welcomed by the owner and thought the inn was so charming and relaxing. She offered us a choice of having breakfast at 8:30 or 9:00. She even placed a couple of cupcakes in our room to wish me a happy birthday upon our arrival. Unfortunately by the time we left, I felt uncomfortable and felt like a little kid who was being punished for doing something wrong. I was embarrassed for being late to breakfast then left feeling hurt that they didn't share the breakfast with us that we were expecting. Oh well, by my next birthday renovations will be completed at The Cottage Inn and Spa, and we will happily be returning there next year, instead. read more

Crappy customer service. To sum it up, we didn't have toilet paper our second night and the robes had obviously not been laundered (they smelled like women's perfume). I brought both of these matters to the attention of the owner and she disregarded my concerns and wrote me an email explaining why she was too exhausted to clean our room. They're in over their heads and the only reason they can get away with charging so much per night is because of their location. Stay somewhere else if you like clean rooms and helpful owners who don't make you feel like you're the reason they're so exhausted. read more

This place has pros and cons. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but wouldn't stay again as we didn't think it was worth the price point. Pros: Meldalina is a gem, I think she gave us the nicest reception/tour I have ever received at any inn/hotel/airbnb ever. The location is absolutely amazing! The room was very cute (Palm suite) and more spacious than the photos look. Although we didn't absolutely love eating two pastries for breakfast, it was free and we really liked the to-the-room delivery. The wine passport was great and if you aren't looking to experience specific wineries, it can make your stay a lot cheaper! Sadly, if you look on the internet for "best sonoma wineries" almost all of the major ones aren't on the passport. Cons: Our biggest con was that we were staying in Sonoma during a heat wave for two nights with temps going up to 102 F (39 celcius), which is very abnormal for the end of September. The air conditioning has a function where you can only set it below 76 for an hour and a half and then it goes back to 76, which is fine during the day (and saves power if people keep it on when they leave the room), but it isn't ok overnight! We woke up numerous times throughout the first night in an uncomfortable sweat and had to get up and turn it back down. After the first night, we messaged Meldelina and asked if we could have the pin so we can override the AC so that we didn't have another sleepless night - she contacted the owner and they agreed to keep it at a lower temperature the second night. I wish we had known about this the first night so we didn't lose a lot of sleep. Make sure to ask about this if you are there in hot temperatures and don't sleep well in the heat! Other minor (for us) cons including the very tight parking that many people have mentioned, and for me, the blanket on the bed was very scratchy and uncomfortable. read more

I just signed up for the Napa Wine Country Half Marathon and needed a place to stay. Almost all of the places required a minimum 2 night stay so I searched Trip Advisor and Yelp looking for a decent play to stay for one night. At the time, the only listing was for the Thistle Dew Inn which had bad reviews. I took a chance and gave them a call. The receptionist was extremely nice and helpful. She informed me that the Inn just changed ownership in the last month and happily booked me a room for one night. She even asked if there was anything I wanted for breakfast. I told her that I would be leaving at 6 to run the half and that I would need coffee in the morning. She said no problem. When I arrived at the Inn, the place was super cute. My room was excellent and the people working were friendly and extremely hospitable. My girlfriend was more than happy and she is quite particular. Sure enough, there was coffee for me ready at 6 in the morning. I was more than impressed. After the half-marathon, the power for Sonoma was out. We didn't get our Southern Style breakfast, but the innkeepers made us a hearty breakfast with fruits, yogurts, sausages, and eggs, whatever they could make without electricity. I can't rave enough about the Inn and the new owners. They absolutely made my stay memorable and I would not hesitate to stay there again. We checked into the Inn 2 Remember for two nights in early April after a recommendation from a friend. Upon first glance it's a charming B&B in the heart of Sonoma and it didn't fail to disappoint throughout our stay. Rooms - We stayed in the Jasmine room, which has its own porch and sits in the back of the house/property. The room was a little small, but comfortable for two people, especially since we spent most of our time out around Sonoma. The bathroom was very spacious with a jetted tub. It was clean and well maintained. Our only hiccup came when we were there the first night. It was an unusually warm day in Sonoma for April (85 degrees) and our room was very warm. There was a Nest thermostat in the room that guests don't have access to change and we couldn't get our window open. I would highly recommend allowing guests to have control over the heat/AC as everyone is comfortable at different temperatures. After the first night, the daytime temperature in Sonoma went back down to a more comfortable temperature, as did the room, so I imagine 95% of the time this isn't an issue. Food: a huge part of the B&B experience is the food and Alice is an amazing cook. Breakfast was served every day a 8:30am, but she held back food if a guest was running late or had to step out... All with a smile on her face. The food was presented impeccably and tasted delicious. We had a great time getting to know the other guests and comparing notes on where to go in the area. I hope one day to return to this charming B&B and would definitely recommend. read more

We were in Sonoma for a brief honeymoon and stayed at An Inn 2 Remember in the Rose Room. The room itself was lovely. It was a bit small, but the huge king bed was incredibly comfortable and a dream for sleep. The bathroom was well stocked and spacious. We would have loved a bath tub, but unfortunately a room with a tub wasn't available when I booked. The daily breakfast was delicious with fruit, coffee, pastries, and yogurt. It arrived promptly at 8:30 every day and fortified us for days of wine tasting. I really appreciated the wine passport above everything else. Since we were only there for 2 days, we opted to stay in the plaza and just do tastings locally. The wine passport saved us hundreds of dollars in tasting fees and allowed us to buy a bottle of wine at every place we went. My only complaint is that we did not have access to the hot tub, which was advertised online. Overall, it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend staying here! read more

Only downside is the breakfast is only served at one time with all guests. I would have preferred an hour range, such as 8-10, allowing guests to come when they choose. I am still dreaming about my wonderful time at An Inn To Remember. Next visit to Sonoma will include a stay at this Inn again. The rooms are beautifully executed, the care the owners take to make their guest feel at home is second to none. I recommend the rooms in the back house. There are four beautiful rooms with private patio areas hidden with foliage and fountains. We were able to sit in privacy around our own fire pit and enjoy some wine from the local vineyards. There are bikes to take out and explore the area and the location is perfect - right by the main square. Breakfast at the Inn was amazing - savory one day, sweet the next and in the evening, after a long day of wine tasting, we were greeting in a gazebo area by Les and the other guest enjoying drinks and appetizers. Wonderful, very special time for us as we celebrated our anniversary. read more

We stayed here for our Valentine/anniversary weekend. 1st time in Sonoma, and this quaint B&B added to our wonderful Sonoma experience. Perfect location within a very short walking distance to Sonoma Square! Cozy B&B with charm & decor that suits our style (NOT the typical grandma/floral/doilies style.) They describe it as elegant French vintage. We stayed in the Jasmine room in the far back of the property. Private entrance with its own porch and little peaceful garden. Breakfast was setup and decorated perfectly for Valentine's Day including heart shaped pastries. We also had apple crumble, crepe, mustard ham, etc. The complimentary wine tasting card they gave us was a nice surprise. It included almost 30 wineries in the Sonoma area that we could go to for complimentary wine tastings, including 3 within walking distance! They didn't have an ironing board in the room, but the housekeeper was kind to iron our clothes for us. Glad we stayed here! read more

Alice was a wonderful hostess and took great care of us, including with my wife's food allergies. Beautiful decor & great location. However, we stayed four nights and the food was mediocre at best - seemed store bought & reheated. No fresh fruit was served any meals, just a lot of baked items. We ate out our final morning because we were so unhappy with the food. There is no access to kitchen for glasses, utensils, or a sink. Too many decorations on the dresser (stack of picture books, a lamp and a birdcage) left the only surface space in our room cluttered & unable to use. Alice was gracious but seemed to miss some simple details in hospitality. Guests have to ring for her, if she is there to answer our questions, we felt as if we were bothering her. We will not stay here again on our next trip. Other B & Bs in the area have amazing food and engaging hosts. read more

We stayed for here for two nights. My wife and I highly recommend it. We stayed in the Wisteria Room. We met both of the owners separately and they were both very friendly, helpful, and quite interested in how our stay had been. Highlights - breakfast was excellent (a Bananas Foster French Toast was my favorite), gardens were beautiful, the place is very quiet, you can walk to the plaza in about a minute, our room had a nice private patio, our bed was VERY comfortable, happy hour by a fire pit, good on-site parking, big bathroom, and the place is spotless. We have stayed at a lot of b and b's and this is one that sets a high standard. One of the owners (think they have owned the place for only about a year) told us they have plans for more improvements later this year. We are thinking we need to go back soon! read more

Fantastic! Couldn't think of a better place to stay for our Sonoma wedding. Our whole family stayed at an Inn to Remember last August for a week, and everyone loved it. It was the perfect blend of elegant and relaxed, with beautiful rooms - delicious food and exceptional service. Everyone from my parents to in-laws raved about their stay and said they would stay here again the next time they're in Sonoma. Location is ideal! You're steps from the square but not right ON it, so it's quiet at night for sleeping. There were also little thoughtful touches, like an extra special breakfast on the day of our wedding - and roses left in our room that night. The little back porch off of our room was a perfect place to gaze at the full moon when we returned from our Big Day. This inn was definitely memorable - about as romantic and perfect as it can get! A friend and I booked one night at Inn 2 Remember to cap off a wine country weekend. Unfortunately, my grandfather died three days before our scheduled trip, requiring me to cancel my visit. We reached out to Inn 2 Remember and explained the situation. They were happy to release our room to make more cash on the newfound availability. However, they stopped replying to our messages when we asked if they could refund us for the room. Yes, they have a 30-day cancellation policy (already unreasonable but beside the point), but this was an extraordinary circumstance. We also asked whether, if a refund wasn't possible, we could have a credit, as we were so looking forward to this weekend. Silence. For a business that bills itself as family-run, it's shocking to see the complete disregard for their guests and their family circumstances. It made an already traumatizing, difficult weekend all the more stressful. You better hope you have no family emergencies when you have a reservation at this B&B or else you'll be paying! read more
