Although my wife and I are closer to the Gresham Station Hallmark location, we purposefully drive to the one in Clackamas Town Center because of the service. Every time we went into the store, not only do we get the typical greeting you would find at a Hallmark but you can genuinely feel the care from them. There was one instance in particular where my wife and I found the perfect wedding card but couldn't find the right size and color envelope because of cultural traditions we tried to stick with the gold or red colors. I've been a Hallmark buyer for years. The best line of cards has always been their Harmony collection. This store has a couple of cards with POC but very few. The selection of other cards is okay but not great. This was the first time I went in and saw a black employee. The funny part of having a black sales lady was when I went to checkout, all three white sales ladies just looked at me and told the black lady to check me out. Her back was to the counter so she didn't see me approaching. Just a FYI...stop staring at the customers. The checkout process was good, she recognized my rewards status and free card promotion and was a very good conversationalist. We learned a lot about each other in the 5 to 10 minute transaction. My local Hallmark Store in Aiea, Hawaii was sold out of the Disney It's a Small World The Happiest Cruise That Ever Sailed Ornament, and the one I ordered online was broken when we recieved it. By that time, the ornament had been sold out at all local stores and online. I decided to check stores in Oregon since my daughter lives there, and just so happened Clackamas Town Center was the only location who still had it in stock, AND my daughter only worked a few minutes away. I ordered it online for her to pick up and also requested that they made sure it worked since my daughter doesn't have Keepsake Power Cord. A friendly person from the store called my husband when it was ready for pick up and and gladly made sure the ornament worked. My daughter also said the person who helped her was very nice and helpful. We received the ornament yesterday in perfect condition. Thank you so much Amy's Hallmark! read more

I had a good experience shopping here last week. I found out via Google that Hallmark sells stationery. The Hallmark website showed me the available stationery options at Amy's. Unlike some other chain stores (Joann fabric) the store availability information was accurate and I was able to easily find what I was looking for without getting additional help. The sales associate was polite and did a good job communicating the benefits of the reward program. I haven't been to a Hallmark store in years but I'm glad I decided to visit Amy's and will probably be back. read more

I LOVE Hallmark stores!! They have sentimental memories for me, since middle school days. Even during my travels and vacation, I had to make sure I stopped by Hallmark, my very first visit to this Hallmark store in 2015 was a must. Thank you Amy's Hallmark!! Who doesn't love Hallmark? They have been around for over 100 years. Can you imagine all that Hallmark Happy moments? Esp. receiving that special card, gifts, or ornaments, purchased at a Hallmark store. Hallmark has been the creator of greeting cards, gift wraps, gifts, and Keepsake ornaments for over 100 years. Hallmark does special occasions best. Amy's Hallmark shop is located at the Clakamas Town Center, on the second floor level of the mall. I can spend forever at the Hallmark store looking at all the trinkets, cute gifts, and inspirational quotes. It makes me happy to be here. I just love positive happy vibe at this store. This Hallmark store is very neat and organized. There are rows and rows of greeting cards, tons of gift items, figurines, photo frames, notebooks, teddy bears, trinkets, mugs, wrapping paper and even chocolates. Shopping for gifts for that special occasion, Hallmarks got it, and don't forget to grab a greeting card. My very first visit to this mall, I was happy to see the Hallmark store, which was perfect. I had to stop by to get a greeting card for my daughter, a trinket, & noticed the chocolates, near the registers. They were Godiva, I grabbed a few bars for both of us. I remember that year, it was hard for me, it was her first year of college. My greeting card was for her, I wanted to give her a card with momma's message, trinkets, chocolate, and money for her. It was a nice surprise as I left it in her drawer in her dorm. I am so thankful for this Hallmark store. My second visit, this year while shopping at this mall. Hallmark will be on my list of stores to visit when I am here. I like to see what new items they have and just like to visit this shop since I love the positive happy vibe. I bought a few Keepsake ornaments. Toni, who helped me that day was super nice, friendly, and awesome.( I could tell she loves her job) She went out of her way to show me where the rest of the ornaments were. Of course, they were what I was looking for. Another item that I truly love are the ornaments. They will be very sentimental once you give them as gift or add to your collection. Hallmark has all kinds of ornaments. I was happy to find that Dallas Cowboys ornament for a true Dallas Cowboy fan!! I also got baby's first Christmas ornaments for 2 friends who just had their baby. Don't forget to make a stop at this Hallmark store for your special occasion needs FYI-. Mother's day, Graduation, & Father's day is coming up. Worst Experience Ever !!!! I went in with the intention of buying my 2 year old son a stuffed animal . When I was walking around looking at all the different ones a they older lady with purple hair that works there followed us around everywhere we went . We couldn't enjoy shopping and looking when she is following us everywhere . We finally said something and told her we felt uncomfortable and stereotyped and then she had the nerve to laugh in our face , and as we walked out she said under her breathe the B word to us when we were nothing but nice even after being followed . Recently, I went to Amy's Hallmark Shop for the first time when I was at Clackamas Town Center, and I have to say, I cannot find any more good and positive things to say about it. Basically, it was fantastic, as well as very inspiring. So much memorabilia from Peanuts by Charles Schultz as well. I even read two really awesome Peanuts books. They were "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" and "Holidays Through the Year: Five Great Classic Stories." Basically, I highly recommend Amy's Hallmark Shop to anyone who likes Hallmark, the Peanuts gang and going to Clackamas Town Center. Also, I give it both five stars (although ten would be better) and two thumbs up as well. :) read more

In my whole entire life, I did not know there was such a thing as holiday ornament shopping in July. Seriously. I thought it was just for TV movies and Lifetime shows. WELL, IT IS A REAL THING KIDS. I went with my mother in law these past three years to get ornaments in a series, as well as some new ornaments. Its a mad house, but an organized madhouse. One year I had flash cards of the ornaments I needed to get, and I panicked because all these people were shoving 5-6 ornaments of one kind in their basket, so I immediately found a sales person and he very nicely got all my ornaments for me. I did NOT want the MIL getting mad because I forgot a Mischievious Kittens ornament. Besides all that, everything is the store is very pretty, and the employees are all very nice and customer service oriented. The best part is that I got a singing Groot ornament for my tree this year. read more

I purchased a product at Hallmark. Working with the product I ran into a problem. I was unable to solve the problem, so I took the item back to Amy's Hallmark Shop in the Clackamas Town Center. I explained the problem to the clerk who asked the manager to help me. I could not ask for a more congenial, pleasant person to explain my problem to. The manager was willing to listen to my problem and try to solve the trouble. She assisted me in solving the problem. This situation was totally solved and I was one VERY HAPPY customer. I was in Portland for a conference the week prior to Thanksgiving. I found my way out to the mall for the express purpose of obtaining the Barbie anniversary ornament. We are a military family stationed in Japan and our Base Exchange did not stock Barbie ornaments this year. I was thrilled to find two Barbie ornaments and put both into a package which I mailed home to protect from getting broken in my luggage. This evening I opened the box to put the ornament on the tree and found that I paid $50 for an empty box. There was nothing but wrapping material in the box. I'm heart broken. It's too late to get a new ornament sent and I really can't justify spending another $50 on a replacement. read more

So disappointed in Hallmarks corporate policy of not making adjustments on markdowns.... two years in a row they have marked down the musical pieces that we buy as they are released... I didn't contest last year. This year I bought the lighthouse keepsake piece for $74.99....we were in the store three weeks later and noted it was signed at $25.00 off.... I asked the cashier about an adjustment and she said corporate policy would not allow an adjustment....I said 'really' ....she said I could call 1-800-Hal-mark....which I did... and much to my surprise, the agent came on the line and said ' I'm very sorry but we will not be able to honor an adjustment....be wary of buying their seasonal pieces...their process is not customer friendly. read more
