Fun paper store! They offer all kinds of stationary, unique gifts, unusual souvenirs, and ideas for crafts. When I went it was fall, and they had special Halloween paper crafts out. This would be a fun place to bring kids and have them pick items out to be creative. I bought band aids that had ramen noodle characters. It was funny. The associates were not that friendly. The prices were a bit high in my opinion. I'd say this is a fun store to pop in and check it out, even for a few minutes.

The Paper Source is a chain store that sells crafting supplies, decorative paper, custom stationery and quirky gifts. I was shopping for the quirky gifts. The staff was very friendly and the store was loaded with merchandise. I found a Trader Joe's Cookbook and a couple of silly items from The Office to purchase.

It was just too expensive to buy anything, and strangely none of the cards were really as interesting as usual in a stationery shop. But they had cute Rifle Paper Company notebooks and planners and only one employee was doing the too loud, fake voice thing. Great location right at the #15 bus stop.

Paper. Who would have thought that a store devoted entirely to paper could pull in enough revenue to put up rent for a corner on 23rd? It's paper. It makes me think back to one of my favorite Far Side cartoons in which there are several cows in a pasture and one of them says, "Wait a minute, this is grass! We're eating grass!" But just as my mockery was hitting an all time high, I needed paper. STAT. And not just any paper -- but all black 3x5 card-stock. I walked in, told the kind lady what I needed, she brought me not 1, not 2, but 4 different options, I paid $2.75, and in less than 2 minutes was holding precisely what I needed. Paper.

    Always love the window displays

I love this place! When I need a card for a special occasion this is the place where I go. They pretty much have everything that you can think of. If you are the do it yourself type you will love this place, they have every color of card stock you can think of they also offer classes for projects and usually on the weekends have demo's. They have a huge wall of stamps and can also have a special order design made, have a huge selection of tissue paper and gift bags. Also have bulk cards and can build your own selection. Staff is always friendly and offer to help or give suggestions.

Here's our DIY Christmas tree! The only thing we didn't make ourselves is the star up top! Everything turned out so nice!

We decided it might be fun to do some embossing on the envelopes and asked for a suggestion of which ink pad to get.

Oh don't skip this shop. I know it's on a street of great…read morebougie shops but this one is charm upon charm: it's like walking into a grown-up candy store and finding wrapped bonbons that you want to try -- chocolates that are milk and dark -- all kinds of extraordinary flavors wrapped like truffles. Cherry cordials, pear cordials, apple cordials in chocolates. Caramel chocolates, chocolate caramels. Thing is it's hard for not to love the store because it has three of my favorite things: 1. chocolate: shelves and shelves of unique artisan chocolates made with skill and care from all over the world. 2. And salt -- am a VERY big fan of picking up local salts whenever one is traveling -- including actual blocks and blocks of Himalayan salt stacked. Not imitation but the real stuff. They even have fresh popcorn for you to taste the truffle salt with. 3. Lastly they have fresh cut flowers. It's like a florist and you can create your own bouquets. Beautiful specimens with structure and freshness. I have to say they also have bottles and bottles of bitters -- crafted bitters. King Floyd chief among them. The staff person was super helpful. She was kind and educational about many things.

Smaller selection of pantry items, small bags of pasta with their name, and hot sauces. Also a few books books, focusing on salts, bitters and cocktails, of course! I've purchased some of the Maldonado finishing salt, and it absolutely makes a difference. Never use these salts as an ingredient, it's used to sprinkle on meats, veggies, potatoes, right before serving. Awesome on chocolate cookies. They even sell small containers for salt, known as salt cellars, so you can keep your favorite salt in your purse in case your restaurant meal is lacking that little something extra. They refill for life, for the tiny ones only. I enjoy checking out this store when I'm in the area or when looking for a gift for one of my foodie friends. I'd buy more, but the prices are very high, especially the pasta and chocolate. I can't rationalize $12-15 for a chocolate bar that I'll eat in one sitting. Maybe I'm the problem, maybe one bar is supposed to last for many servings!
