Poor management by operations director. If you post a negative review he will try to have it removed. My personal experience with amys attic has been that of an oil stained unit upon move in. A broken hallway door, and inconsistent climatized temp in unit. Def not the temp range I was given before renting. read more

My Husband & I laughed when we received an email requesting a review. We have been customers since 2015 for storage of our boat and then an RV. Always paid our monthly fees by auto draft; never late. Never an issue from us. In my opinion, very responsible and reliable clients. Fast forward to November 26, 2021. We received an email from Amy's Attic stating we would NOT be given a renewal on our month to month lease agreement and to have our property moved by December 1st. No explanation as to why. So, that meant we were given only 4 days (over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, no less) to try and find a place to store it! An impossible task, as this time of the year, almost everyone has their boats, Rv's and other recreational vehicles put in storage for the winter months. After several attempts to contact someone with Amy's Attic, (I immediately went up to the office but I assume they were closed for the holiday with No emergency contact phone number listed on door). We sent emails and left several messages on their answering machine, the same day we received the email. We finally received a response by email explaining they would be building covered parking and everyone had to leave. We were informed they sent an email a month prior. We never received it. I even combed through the spam and deleted folder!) Actually, the last time we received an email was when we were informed our monthly fees were going up a few months back! We were also told a letter was sent. Again, no letter in the mail was received! You would think after years of an outstanding client record; a simple phone call could have been made to us. It's called customer service and being treated as an afterthought has done nothing but leave a bad taste in my mouth. So, unfortunately, , I will not recommend this storage location to anyone we know. I don't want to risk my friends or family treated in this manner. Just Ridiculous. & in response to the reply from the business; we did not receive any correspondence from your office. I have searched every place I possibly could have. I wanted to make COMPLETELY sure it was not overlooked on my end before I posted my review. I am not a liar. I do not appreciate your insinuation of such. I do not appreciate your personal message to me, right after my review posted, via this social media platform. Perhaps, your office made a mistake. Either way, a simple phone call to those whom still had vehicles and what not would have been a more positive, professional approach. I stand by my Yelp. I have a right to my review. This place is a Great place to store stuff in a unit or park a vehicle. The manager is very sweet and smart so easy to work with. Such a sweet understanding voice on the phone. Even if I didn't need to store anything I'd still rent a unit , it's worth it. read more

I really want to write a scathing review, but I will stick to the facts. We stored our Class C (drivable) motor home here in one of their covered parking stalls from March 2020 through today (October 27, 2020) at a rate of $142.89 per month. Each month we check on the RV, start it up, take it for a wash if needed, etc. Yesterday I went to perform my usual, monthly check. I got in, started the engine, and immediately realized something was wrong -- it sounded like a tank. I looked underneath and saw a wire hanging. When I went to the office and told the ladies what I was dealing with, they immediately guessed that my catalytic converter had been stolen. Why would they know that right off the bat? Oh, because the same theft has happened on their property at least twice already this year. Don't get me wrong, they were friendly and offered to check surveillance, but ultimately the 24-hour security provided is worthless. The gates and fences around the facility are worthless. And, of course the fine print of this (and likely all other storage facilities) states that they will accept no liability for anything that happens to your property while it is stored there. Additionally, no notifications were sent to tenants about the previous thefts. So, I spent roughly $1,150 on storage costs and will now have to spend about $1,500 having a new catalytic converter and O2 sensor put in. My advice is park your vehicles elsewhere. read more

What can I say about the folks at Amy's Attic on 317 Belton . Top notch Ladies, always very helpful and attentive to my needs . I do believe I have become the biggest pain as a client that they more than likely have currently renting from them and still they help . They are always helping me . In a time when it has become customary to not help someone, They are truly bucking the normal and striving for the top . I absolutely cannot think of a reason to rent storage from any other place around. You give me a story about a storage facility that wronged you and I will tell you a story about Amy's Attic Self Storage in Belton on HWY 317 that did me absolutely right . read more

The facility is HUGE! It is clean, and the customer service is unbeatable. They have a lot of parking spaces for boats and RV's. I can also get in my unit 24/7 with their secured gate & there is 24 hour surveillance. I will recommend all my friends and famliy to use Amy's Attic in Belton! read more
