The prices were reasonable. I got some river rocks and wood to jazz up the tank and support the orchids in my terrarium. These items were priced by weight and the employees had to weigh them and calculate the price up front at the register. I spent about $20 on everything I got. We called to be sure they had what we needed and the lady on the phone was truly one of the nicest sounding customer service agents to answer a phone. When I arrived to the store, I waited patiently while Mary finished with another customer and I figured out she had to be the one on the phone. She was just as amazing in person. She instructed me as to what I needed to do to obtain propane for our onboard tanks and I ventured outside. The outstanding customer service was continued by Tae, truly one of the most pleasant young men I've ever dealt with in recent years. So friendly and knowledgeable...and caring. My wife loaded up the two kids sick by the way drove the hr to the store only for the grumpy old miserable pos behind the counter to talk to her like a dog! Refuse to help her and tell her he won't call the person that sold her the fish because it's his day off but that she could come back at 1 when he would be there??? I thought he was off. Then proceeded to say he can't check the water while testing the water and confirming the water was good. This place is a joke and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone now the service has dropped dramatically.

As a child I went with…read moremy parents to the vet to take our cats (and dogs), witnessed our cat (that we had from the time I was Kindergarten-college) that got hit by a car when I was in the 4th grade and had to get his tail amputated. I wanted to adopt a kitten for my son and we checked out Princeton's Meow, it was filthy, it reeked of cat urine and feces. The lady with the short brown hair and glasses and almost every other person in there working were sneezing and sniffling the entire time and she seemed not to be able to form a complete sentence without stammering over herself because she didn't know anything about any of the cats we asked her about. There were boxes all over the floor that made it hard to get by to each room, that was a safety hazard. Some of the cats had sores on their noses as if they had been mis treated or neglected. I told them I'd be interested in declawing my cat like our old veterinarian and Petsmart did for us several times back in the early to late 90's and 2000's and so forth. This place began sending me harassing emails saying if I do that to a cat then xyz will happen. I told them to please leave me alone since they turned me down for adoption, but they continued to send me harassing emails from their agency. Then got an email from an "Alara Krown". I'm not sure if that's an alias or someone's actual name who works there. I then told her if they continued to email me then I'd report them for harassment. Next thing I know they send me an anonymous letter in the mail stating the same thing. That's not a good look. You already run a shady business with very weird hours, but you all continue to harass me?? You turned me down, so why continue to bother me? I don't want one of your old kittens anyway. I do however feel bad for them because of the improper way you all are treating them. Very unsanitary and harmful. Poor kitties.

My husband and I saw some cats in 2020 on the Princeton's Meow website and facebook page who caught…read moremy eye. I corresponded with Vanessa about 1 specific cats' personality before we drove the 2 hours to visit. She was a wealth of information as I used the chat box to correspond with her and ask questions from their facebook page. My husband and I visited and ended up adopting a lovely 5 yr and 8 yr old cat. There were sooo many friendly cats in the cageless (cats walking around rooms) atmosphere! Staff and volunteers were friendly to us and let us move easily throughout the building's rooms, checking cats out. We are in love with our 2, these two years later. I used to be a vet tech and as one reviewer wrote, I did see a few of the cats appear to have upper respiratory symptoms including the 8yr old I adopted, but having worked at an SPCA myself years ago, it's just one of those common things that happens when you have cats living in close quarters in most any cat shelter or rescue. It did not deter me nor phase me. Most of the cats looked just fine and were running and jumping about and playing with toys and engaging with us. We saw mostly adult cats that day. And the staff were great about knowing the cats histories and answering questions about their behavior. They knew their cats! I commend this rescue for what they offer these cats and we are thrilled with Bianca and Mya (original names from the rescue). They are delightful girls. And they are older, yes, which is what I was preferring as with older cats, 'what you see is what you get'. Plus, I was looking for more subdued cats who would do well with our senior dogs. We made out great with our 2 girls and I would go back to this rescue and adopt from them again, if we had the space or desire to do so. Both cats were spayed already and were current on vaccines. We took them home the same day we met them. We had been told to bring proof of rabies vaccines for our other pets, which we brought with us. It was an easy adoption process and I was very happy to pay the adoption fees for both, knowing the money would help other future cats.

All of my pets were handled with upmost respect and care. The staff there are wonderful and caring. They called me up to a year after I lost each of my beloved pets and they make you feel like family. Why anyone would use anyone else is beyond me. There crematorium is also very clean and you can be assured you are only getting the ashes of your pet. I have used the one in Cherryville and after I saw the facility I will never use them again. Whenever I'd drive past Pet Pilgrimage (Denver location), I'd smirk and think "wow-who would really…read moreneed that?"...until I needed them; and when I did, they were amazing. I first encountered Pet Pilgrimage (PP) through my vet last year, when I had to put down my beloved lab Rocky due to cancer. We were at the vet's office, and it was unexpectedly sudden, so I really didn't know what to do. My vet told me she would call PP, and they would take care of everything and contact me. I didn't even have to pay them until I picked up Rocky's remains the next day. Since I had no idea what to expect, I was quite surprised at how warm, kind and compassionate the staff were when I did in. They handed me a lovely rainbow bag with Rocky's cremated remains sealed in a wooden box, as well as a clipping of his fur and a casted plaster paw impression. Everything was well presented and a lovely way to remember my beloved pet. Fast forward to this summer, when tragedy stuck a second time, and our incredibly loved, cherished Bernese Mt Dog Apollo was also struck with cancer (different from Rocky's so not related). This dog was everyone's favorite, including the UPS driver. So when he passed at home, it was so comforting to be able to call PP on a Sunday afternoon to come take our beloved boy. They came within the hour and put Apollo carefully on a gurney, and covered him with a lovely blanket. They were so kind and compassionate at a very difficult time. Now don't get me wrong, I wouldn't use this service for all my pets, nor for every dog we've had, but knowing they're available 24/7 for those difficult times when it's THE BEST dog ever is very, very comforting.
