From the very beginning, Frankie helped me capture the heart of what I wanted. I came in with one idea, and he walked me through the artistry and beauty of how a tattoo can be interpreted and brought to life in an even better way than I had imagined. In the end, I trusted his judgment completely, and I do not regret it for a second. He guided me through every stage of the process and was incredibly thorough when it came to aftercare, making sure I understood how to take care of my tattoo during the days, weeks, and months between sessions. To this day, all I get are compliments on my sleeve. People are always asking where I got it done, and I never hesitate to tell them it was Frankie at Three Roses Studio. Professionally, he is outstanding, focused, and incredibly talented. Personally, he is even better. Over the course of about a year, mostly because of my own scheduling issues, we got to know each other well, and I can honestly say he is one of the most down-to-earth and genuine people you could hope to meet. The whole experience was one incredible journey, and I could not be happier with how it all turned out.

Pretty soon to write a tattoo since we got them today, but will plan to update it later . . …read more My 18 year old son and I got matching tattoos. I contacted Frank weeks ago, to ask him about scheduling a time we could visit from MA to get our first tats. He was so great, he actually opened the studio specifically to accommodate our schedule when we would be visiting from out of state. He was great. We shared designs over emails and spoke over the phone. He was frank and advised us and we ended up getting 3 done today. I got one on my outer wrist, and my son got his matching one on his inside arm and then an arm band. The band is one based on something we saw and liked. Frank modified the piece and made a piece of art that is now a custom piece that no one else will have. My son is so happy. When we came in we sat and talked and got to know each other. He made sure we were not nervous, wanted us to know his home was our home, answered all questions, and made us feel so comfortable. He is not only professional with years of experience and an incredible talent, he also has a great eye. He understands the technical aspect behind his art, and the psychological aspect of tattoo. We really were interested also in the spiritual side of tattoo and learned so much about this. Really interesting. Frank has so much information to share, you only have to ask. We now know, that we will never get ink anywhere else. We can highly recommend Frank and Three Roses. The back room, with the TV, art books and his hand drawn art was just so great. It had the feeling of being cozy yet professional. Check it out. Well worth the trip.

It's clean and I can tell that they really care about their clients there. If I were to get a tattoo, I would definitely go to Rebel And Rose. But for now, I go for my permanent, make up and can't say enough. Good things about Angelica. Every time I visit. I am treated like a queen. She is so good at what she does and I'm very happy with the results. I usually have her thread my eyebrows, and my lip while I'm there. Threading is amazing way better than waxing. Highly recommend it and I highly recommend. Going to Rebel And Rose and seeing Angelica. She's great in the space is wonderful. Parking is usually not a problem outside on the street.

I was a returning client and had planned on getting more work done at Rebel & Rose. After my recent…read moreexperience communicating with the shop, I decided to go elsewhere. I reached out because I was trying to book another tattoo. During that process, I was told that "all bookings come exclusively through me," instructed not to "contact our artists directly," and eventually asked to "please refrain from contacting the shop" because the "surplus of calls and emails have been making our staff uncomfortable." I understand that I reached out multiple times, and I completely understand a business setting boundaries about how and when clients should contact them. If they had simply said, "Please keep future communication to email and wait for us to respond," I would have respected that. What I didn't appreciate was the way it was communicated. As a returning customer actively trying to book and spend hundreds of dollars on another tattoo, being told that my communication was making the staff "uncomfortable" made me feel extremely unwelcome. What made the situation stranger was that the conversation eventually went right back to normal booking information -- availability, estimated cost, appointment length and deposit. That was the information I had been trying to get in the first place. I had considered getting significantly more work done here in the future. This experience changed my mind. Artists and employees absolutely deserve boundaries and respectful communication. Customers deserve the same. A shop can be busy and have strict booking procedures without making a returning client feel embarrassed for trying to schedule an appointment. I'm not going to attack anyone personally or make assumptions about why this happened. I'm sharing the actual language that was used with me and how it affected my decision as a customer. I liked the work I previously received here. Unfortunately, good tattoo work isn't enough for me to overlook an interaction that left me feeling this unwelcome. I'll be taking my future business elsewhere.
