I came in with one idea, and he walked me through the artistry and beauty of how a tattoo can be interpreted and brought to life in an even better way than I had imagined. He guided me through every stage of the process and was incredibly thorough when it came to aftercare, making sure I understood how to take care of my tattoo during the days, weeks, and months between sessions. I contacted Frank weeks ago, to ask him about scheduling a time we could visit from MA to get our first tats. He was so great, he actually opened the studio specifically to accommodate our schedule when we would be visiting from out of state. He was great. We shared designs over emails and spoke over the phone. He was frank and advised us and we ended up getting 3 done today. I got one on my outer wrist, and my son got his matching one on his inside arm and then an arm band. The band is one based on something we saw and liked. Frank modified the piece and made a piece of art that is now a custom piece that no one else will have. My son is so happy. When we came in we sat and talked and got to know each other. He made sure we were not nervous, wanted us to know his home was our home, answered all questions, and made us feel so comfortable. He is not only professional with years of experience and an incredible talent, he also has a great eye. He understands the technical aspect behind his art, and the psychological aspect of tattoo. We really were interested also in the spiritual side of tattoo and learned so much about this. Really interesting. Frank has so much information to share, you only have to ask. We now know, that we will never get ink anywhere else. We can highly recommend Frank and Three Roses. The back room, with the TV, art books and his hand drawn art was just so great. She is beyond professional, very skilled at what she does, and one of the most beautiful and kind people I've ever encountered. I had wanted to get my lip blush done for a while, but was very particular about where I would go as I had read some disaster stories. I did my research and found R & R and then had a consultation with Angelica. I had seen her portfolio on their website and on her Instagram and loved the photos. We talked about what my goals were, what shade I thought I'd like, what I didn't like about my lips ans all other things related to a big decision. My first session with her was great. I am one of the unfortunate people that has a bit of a lopsided mouth so we corrected it with the lip blush. It wasn't painless, but she did her best to make it as comfortable for me as possible. I was thrilled with the results. After six weeks, I went back for a touchup to do the final corrections. It takes a while for the color to bloom and you do have to go through healing first which basically feels like bad chapped lips. Her aftercare instructions were great and she was available by phone anytime. I also had eyebrow threading done which I'd never had before. It blows waxing out of the water. It really doesn't hurt and it leaves such a good feeling on your skin. Totally different than waxing. I went ahead and did the whole face, including the lip and chin. I'm thrilled with the results!! I am considering doing my eyebrows in the future. They also do piercings and conventional tattooing at this women owned and run salon. The place is clean nicely decorated and the staff are all lovely. Five stars!
