Fine line by Mikki
Sydney E.

I've been to Organic Ink 3x now and I love it more each time. Had my septum pierced by Meg (she's awesome) and Mikki did my tattoo as well as my friends. The place is extremely clean, they play great music, and all of their artists are amazingly talented. I have 5 other tattoos and if I could go back in time and have them all done at organic ink, I would in a heartbeat. They are the only place I will go from now on and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a piercer or tattoo artist. They're the bees knees.

16 hours flew right by. Masterful work by the BRILLIANT Meghan Fogarty.

I absolutely could not have had a better experience getting tattooed. The place is clean and the staff is lovely.

LOVE this - "This, too, shall pass" "It will be good, yes, it will be good."

I actually had such a great experience with the piercing that I went ahead and got a tattoo. Matt is brilliant. He did a beautiful job.

Met them at Tommy's Tattoo Convention. My husband and I got tattooed by Mikki Bedol. Excellent artist, amazing tattooer. My first tattoo, my husband's 8th. Will go back to see him for future work. Wish I could post pictures of our tattoos.

I cannot give the Rowan team at the Westport location high enough praise. Bryand has helped me with…read moreboth new piercings and re-piercings. He is incredibly patient and provides excellent customer care in every aspect. The manager -- I wish I knew her name -- makes sure every customer is happy and well taken care of. This team truly goes above and beyond.

We called earlier in the day and were told to make an appointment (even though their website and door say walk-ins welcome), which we did. We arrived basically right on time, maybe a few minutes early. After 15 minutes had passed since our appointment, I asked how much longer the wait would be. We were told 10-15 more minutes. I nicely explained that would put us at 4:30, a full half hour after our appointment. There was another nurse standing around doing nothing, so I asked if she could do it. I was told she isn't trained to do needle piercings, so she couldn't help. It was 28 minutes past the appointment time when she got called back. 1. It's misleading to say walk-ins welcome but then tell everyone they need an appointment. 2. If you're going to effectively require appointments, you need to honor them. 3. If you can't honor appointments because of staffing issues, fix your staffing. Don't tell people to do needle piercings with you if 50% of your available piercers can't do them. 4. Don't be greedy and overbook appointments. The group ahead of us had two girls getting piercings, and the piercings hadn't even been put in when we sat down. If that nurse was the only one qualified to pierce with a needle, our appointment should not have been made, because obviously there wasn't enough time. 5. This isn't just a scheduling issue, it's a safety one. If the staff is expected to fit in more appointments than they are able, it's only a matter of time before they start rushing. Rushing leads to mistakes. Piercings are fun and accessible, but they still require attention to detail, sterilization, and precision, all of which require time that Rowan is making impossible by messing up bookings. 6. This was a total waste of my time. I will never support a business that disrespects customers in this way.

I was a returning client and had planned on getting more work done at Rebel & Rose. After my recent…read moreexperience communicating with the shop, I decided to go elsewhere. I reached out because I was trying to book another tattoo. During that process, I was told that "all bookings come exclusively through me," instructed not to "contact our artists directly," and eventually asked to "please refrain from contacting the shop" because the "surplus of calls and emails have been making our staff uncomfortable." I understand that I reached out multiple times, and I completely understand a business setting boundaries about how and when clients should contact them. If they had simply said, "Please keep future communication to email and wait for us to respond," I would have respected that. What I didn't appreciate was the way it was communicated. As a returning customer actively trying to book and spend hundreds of dollars on another tattoo, being told that my communication was making the staff "uncomfortable" made me feel extremely unwelcome. What made the situation stranger was that the conversation eventually went right back to normal booking information -- availability, estimated cost, appointment length and deposit. That was the information I had been trying to get in the first place. I had considered getting significantly more work done here in the future. This experience changed my mind. Artists and employees absolutely deserve boundaries and respectful communication. Customers deserve the same. A shop can be busy and have strict booking procedures without making a returning client feel embarrassed for trying to schedule an appointment. I'm not going to attack anyone personally or make assumptions about why this happened. I'm sharing the actual language that was used with me and how it affected my decision as a customer. I liked the work I previously received here. Unfortunately, good tattoo work isn't enough for me to overlook an interaction that left me feeling this unwelcome. I'll be taking my future business elsewhere.

It's clean and I can tell that they really care about their clients there. If I were to get a tattoo, I would definitely go to Rebel And Rose. But for now, I go for my permanent, make up and can't say enough. Good things about Angelica. Every time I visit. I am treated like a queen. She is so good at what she does and I'm very happy with the results. I usually have her thread my eyebrows, and my lip while I'm there. Threading is amazing way better than waxing. Highly recommend it and I highly recommend. Going to Rebel And Rose and seeing Angelica. She's great in the space is wonderful. Parking is usually not a problem outside on the street.
