I've wanted to get another piercing for years and just decided to go for my septum on whim. I found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. This place was IMMACULATE! It smelled nice and everything was clean. The art was tasteful. They sterilized everything and showed us the chemical strip that showed that everything was sterilized. Nicholas was warm and kind and answered all my questions. I was shocked at how painless my septum piercing went; I wanted to add on a service but got scared. Now that I see how well this shop treats people, I'll definitely be back!! My wife went with me and wanted her own piercing after watching my experience! 10/10 would recommend

First of…read moreall, I walked in and immediately noticed the cleanliness, which was very important for obvious reasons. The whole place was tastefully decorated with Angel's artwork (more on him later). Next, the receptionist (I'm kicking myself for not catching her name) was absolutely lovely. She was very kind and accommodating. When she learned it was my first tattoo, she explained exactly what to expect and reassured me that I was in good hands. We had a pleasant conversation until Angel was ready to take me back. When Angel escorted me back to the private tattoo room, the positive notes from the reception area continued. Everything was very clean and Angel explained each step of the process, even telling me exactly where he was going to rest his arm while he worked. I watched him set out his equipment and, again, he kept things clean and remained kind. The tattoo itself is absolutely gorgeous. It's a small lotus flower tucked behind my ear. I was completely blown away by the level of detail he was able to achieve with such a small design. The shading is exquisite and he added his own touch to the design that I had provided. It's perfect! So, if you're looking for a location to get a tattoo, big or small, Guardian Art Gallery is the place to go and Angel is the best man for the job. I can't say enough about the entire experience. Also, Angel was military, so be sure to thank him for his service to our country!

My first tattoo with Izzy was back in September of 2012. I brought him a unique design that I had come up with and he took the time to tattoo me on what should have been his day off. Since then I have gotten 6 more pieces and Izzy has done each and every one of them. I often get stopped in airports, bars and while just walking about by people commenting on how much they like my tattoos.. and that's all Izzy. If this is your first tattoo, let me say that Izzy isn't just an incredible artist, he is an incredible person. He will take the time to work with you to ensure that the vision you have of your tattoo comes to life in exactly that manner. He takes his time creating the drawing, then sizing and resizing before making certain that your tattoo is placed perfectly. He is a great conversationalist and makes you feel comfortable the entire time you are in the shop. Once you're done, you leave not only feeling great about your new tattoo but feeling like you have made a new friend as well. If you're covered in ink and you roll up on your Harley looking for more, Izzy is a bad ass with some sick skills on the ink gun. This cat's reputation, credibility and experience are second to none. If you've got room for one more, it should be an Izzy Morales.

I have been a client for yearssss and I have had the pleasure of being tattooed by many artists there. You are never "Pawned" on a lesser artist. Everyone that works there is Stellar. Jim and Tracey want nothing but the best for their clients. I appreciate that they are willing to let their other artists take on clientele if they can't be fit into their own schedules. They would never force anyone to get a tattoo with someone else, only offer the choice. No matter who you go to there, you will come out with an amazing piece of art. In fact, I'm going again on Wednesday. I will only go to Lucky Soul and I told my kids they can get tattoos but they have to be done there.

I felt insulted and told them I don't want them to tattoo me anymore. I'd rather go without the tattoo than be tattooed by someone I don't trust. PS I got a tattoo from Lucky Soul tattoo 11 years ago and they did not operate the way they operate now. Their customer service and frankly respect for their customers has gone down the toilet. PSS 11 years ago when I requested an "in demand artist", I had no problem getting an appointment and I was NEVER pawned off on another artist. This place has such "good" artists (in that they CLAIM they're such good artists) that they think they can treat the customer like cr*p and that we will keep coming back for more. Disgusting. Disreputable. This is NOT how you do business!!!

Ashley and her team are AMAZINGGGGG!!!!!…read more So me and 4 other people were planning on getting a group tattoo, the catch is, we were in the state only for one week (we work at a summer camp) and were ONLY available for the last Saturday before we all go back to our own states (NY, FL, RI, etc). Because of all this communication was limited to email and occasional phone calls. Sounds stressful right? NOPE! Ashley (who is the shop owner/badass btw) made everything stress-free with drawn ideas sent back and forth to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. We all got the same basic brontosaurus stencil and then some of us jazzed it up to our own personal style or taste. Last day of camp finally comes and we arrive early. Ashley is finishing up another client, but one of her other artists, Will, is there and is able to start a few of us. I have to say, you would have never guessed that we never met Ashley or Will....We were hanging out and talking like we were all the best friends. Everyone's tattoo came out AMAZING!!!!! When I tell you it is 1000% exactly what we wanted I'm not even kidding. The line detail on everyone's is spot on. I had mine done with watercolor with blue and green and it came out better than I had dreamed. The strokes of color mimic the visual I had in my mind PERFECTLY. All my friends' tattoos came out how they wanted as well. We were the shops last clients for the night and we closed up shop. I follow the shop on instagram and I see that they do a lot of community work and fundraising as well which is very important to me. Also, WOMAN OWNED SHOP. HELLO!!!! Also payment is easy as hell. They accept Venmo and CashApp as well so you can forget your wallet and still have a sick tattoo. I unfortunately don't live in CT otherwise I would be back more often, but I'm there once a year and it looks like it is gonna be a tradition I'm willing to travel for. I dont know what else I can put in this review to make you go even faster to ShowOff Ink Thank you Ashley, Will, and everyone else there, we will be back (even if it's just once a year)
