It wasn't until my insurance changed and I was forced out of my comfort zone to find a place that was covered, that I researched and ended up choosing Eye Life Vision. Staff at front desk are friendly and helpful. The intake forms are tricky and need some revisiting (the idea of wipe off markers on laminated forms is good in theory but when the makers start to wear this just turns into a mess). But we're here for glasses and contacts, and this is what I'm reviewing. Dr. Sheen answered all my questions, spent significant time checking my eyes, catching an issue that had previously been overlooked by my last Optometrist, was thorough, answered all my questions and was very personable. I was worried I wouldn't find frames that would fit my head correctly but we did (and they rock!). Dr and front desk staff helped me with rebates for my contacts as well. It added up to $$ but given I chose the most expensive frames available I can't complain. The lenses for my glasses were made by a lab that makes Nikon camera lenses (I believe this is what she said) and are extremely high quality. I have NEVER seen so clearly and well with glasses. I literally almost cried when I put them on. Completely blown away, I still can't believe how well I can see. I don't think you can put a price on clear vision especially when you have astigmatism and significant light sensitivity. Thank you!!!!

When we arrived, we were told they no longer accept our insurance. This was extremely frustrating because they previously did accept our insurance, and no one contacted us ahead of time to cancel or notify us of the change. This felt unprofessional and showed a lack of respect for patients' time. Insurance changes happen, but communication is the responsibility of the office.

We managed an appointment within a week of calling -- very rare! -- and were taken to see the doctor with less than five minutes waiting. When it came time to pick out glasses we had a reasonable choice of affordable frames, though if you have the cash they have some really upscale frames (think Tiffany, Coach, etc.) They didn't push us to buy more, much appreciated, and they helped fit the frame and got us out in not much over an hour. We thought the doctor, the front desk staff and the young woman who fitted us were knowledgeable and helpful. This is not a large operation, but the interior is clean and they have a nice public restroom. Curiously, the outside of the building looks abandoned with grass and shrubs way overgrown.
