Dr. Do (and her staff) accommodated me for a last minute (and after hours) appointment when I had some serious tooth pain. Fortunately I didn't need a tooth extraction but she helped subside the pain, gave me a follow-up plan, and even had Kris the office manager call a day after to check on me! Dr. Do was is a skilled and kind dentist. Took my daughter in for her first dental appt with Dr. Do and have been coming annually since. First appt. (1 yrs old) went swimmingly. But by the second (2 yrs old) my daughter knew what was up. Dr. Do was patient and distracted her well enough to get a good cleaning in. The fourth appt we needed xrays and poor kiddo was terrified. I was a patient of Dr. Dos from about 2016-2018. During that time I had a lot of dental problems. I had a root canal and crown, an extraction, implant, broken crown and cavities and needed to make a lot of dental appointments. I am writing a review because I have considered it for a long time, years actually, and feel that my treatment by Dr Do and staff fell short a lot of times. As a health care provider myself I can have compassion for some of those but the amount of times I felt frustrated, including currently, years later, I feel is unacceptable. I currently have an implant crown that traps food every time I eat which means I am constantly desperately looking for floss and have large strings of stuck food in my mouth quite often. It drives me crazy. Because Dr Do placed this crown and billed insurance for it I can't get another one unless she replaces it or I pay out of pocket. Dr. Do says she can't fix it. My current dentist says its totally fixable. I deeply wish he had placed it. Dr Do wouldn't make a return call on the phone for a simple question, I had to make and appointment, sit in traffic etc. My current dentist has no problem calling and answering a simple question. At one point I came in for an appointment and there was an issue with insurance I didn't know about. Dr. Do waited until I was in the chair to tell me she would not treat me unless I paid out of pocket for a crown. I was shocked as it seemed like the course of action would be to call a patient and ask that they fix their insurance and reschedule vs yelling at them when they arrive completely unaware of the issue. I found this to be very unprofessional. I also had multiple scheduling issues over the years with Dr. Do. I found this frustrating, but due to her health issues I wrote it off. There also is a lot of staff turnover. Every time I go there there is different staff. I also was labeled as "too sensitive" by Dr. Do and she would tell me as much. I feel it is very important to take client concerns seriously and not shame them for coming in with concerns. My new dentist takes every concern I have seriously. He is wonderful. Sadly I would not recommend this dentist. I wish that was not the case but I really did have a bad experience there. My new dentist is so much better. I wish I had had the bandwidth to switch sooner. I am absolutely terrified about going to the dentist and didn't for many years before going to Dr. Do. I got a deep cleaning and an emergency crown in the last couple weeks and she and the dental hygienists all made me feel safe, comfortable, and did everything they could to put me at ease. A year later and the crown I got on the "unsavable" tooth is completely stable and works like a charm. The total cost was under $2000. The unnecessary implant that Dr. Do recommended would have cost $8000-10000 besides being fundamentally more invasive and subject to complication risks. read more

Dr. Amy and her staff were so incredibly helpful and comforting. I had a freak accident and chipped my tooth and need care urgently, they were able to squeeze me in immediately after I called. At the office, I had a lot of hard news to digest but Dr. Amy was seriously so comforting and helpful that it made me feel like I was in really good hands. Her dental assistant was also so helpful and sweet. I had also never been here and the office is super clean and very inviting. I had recently moved to the area but continued to see my dentist in Boise ID for cleaning and checkups when I found myself losing a filling just before leaving on a long International trip. Panicked in trying to find someone who would accept a new patient, and do an emergency repair, I made an appointment with Dr. Amy. There was some confusion when I checked in, was told my appointment was only for an exam, and I got upset about it. I did not know what I was going to do when Dr. Amy came out to the lobby after overhearing my problem. She brought me in, had her staff open up some time and did a temporary crown which will last until I return. I am so grateful to her and her staff.
