I cannot say enough, good things about this office! They are always bending over backwards to fit me in, or help with an issue going on! The front office is very well organized and is always happy to spend time explaining things or finding me the perfect appointment time. I can call and talk to them right away and they're always so professional and kind! They are so knowledgeable and Have to help me so much with navigating insurance issues! The dental staff are always so sweet and are so lovely to talk to! I always appreciate how peace they help make me feel! Seriously, the most kind of staff! Dr Do is incredible! She ALWAYS goes above and beyond! I get very stressed about Work being done and she's never pushed unnecessary work on me. She tells me the pros and cons to different options and lets me process what's best for me. I appreciate how she thinks of long-term solutions instead of quick Band-Aids on things. TL;DR: Dr. Do seems to be a friendly and competent dentist, I would have preferred more communication but I was overall happy with my care. I'm leaving a long review as I was disappointed by the number and quality of dentistry reviews when finding a place to go. I scheduled my appointment via the email on Dr. Do's website, as I failed to get through on multiple separate phone call attempts. This went smoothly, though it was a two month wait for an appointment. The office is part of a small collection of offices, and is on the second floor. There are perhaps a dozen parking spaces easily available, and a parking lot for a shopping center across the street. The office is relatively small, but has multiple private areas for patients. The seating area is small, but comfortable with a fish tank to watch. The staff at the desk were friendly and helpful. An assistant sat me down and gave me quite a few X-rays, as is their standard practice. Dr. Do came in after, and commented on a note that I'd made on my intake form - a great sign. She ran through my exam efficiently and gave clear feedback. Unfortunately I can't speak to the quality of her feedback, since I have no dentistry expertise, but she didn't say anything I know to be wrong. I would have appreciated a moment to ask questions as this point, but she moved on to another patient and an assistant flossed and helpfully provided a recommendation for a specific tool. I was also given a fluoride treatment. I needed to schedule a cavity drilling and filling and was able to make an appointment for a week later. I was given an estimate of what I would pay out of pocket and what insurance would cover. The default filling they offered was composite resin, though this was never said out loud, I read it on the estimate. The cavity drilling and filling went smoothly, but a small piece chipped shortly after. Dr. Do saw me quickly and for free to look over the filling. read more

My family and I have been going to Dr Do for several years. Dr Do and the office staff have been extremely helpful and caring. In particular with a major cosmetic project I underwent, she worked with my orthodontist to prepare my teeth over several months while explaining my options and considerations. The result was fantastic and there were no surprises. They helped me create a natural looking smile I'm proud of. I would never recommend this dentist to anyone. Dr. So treated me horribly from the beginning. She decided to do a crown on a tooth a day before I was leaving on a two week vacation, that didn't exhibit any pain and did not need immediate attention. She did not mention whatsoever that this could turn into a root canal. As soon as I left for my trip I was in severe pain. I could not enjoy anything through the entire duration of my trip as I was in so much pub, whereas prior there was zero pain. When I could finally get into see her she said I now needed a root canal and referred me to her friend. That friend was not in my Ins plan and tried to charge me $7,000 even though I had Ins to cover root canals. I stopped her just before starting so thankfully I avoided that charge and found someone in my network that was covered by ins. When I finally came back to finish the crown it didn't fit my mouth anymore because it had been so lo by in pain and without a tooth there. So I was charged an exponential amount of money to re-do the crown. Then she brought me back in for a cleaning way before insurance allowed another one to be paid for (on Dec. 18th, merely 2 weeks before the cleaning would've been covered), so I got an unexpected bill for $177 including a fluoride rinse, which I absolutely refused because I knew it would be extra, but got charged for it anyways. Agree with others that she resents being asked questions, she has terrible bedside manner, and the office is horrifically dirty. The equipment is old and often broken (they sprayed water all over my face during a visit cause the sprayer was broken). The whole office staff is unhelpful and does not look out for your best interest. They are simply trying to make money and trick you into paying for procedures you don't need. I may end up reporting her to the medical board for withholding the fact that my crown could turn into a root canal in order for me to pay more money. Worst, on a personal note, during my first visit she commented on the size of my engagement ring, rolling her eyes and saying how big it was. So offensive! As if my fiancé should be ashamed that he spent a good amount. If his hard earned money on something special for me. It was disgusting. I will never go back there. read more

The hygienist was gentle and competent, but every single interaction with Dr. Do herself was negative and unpleasant (surly, combative, seemed to resent being asked questions). She may be a competent clinician (and hopefully friendlier to patients she likes), but terrible bedside manner makes for a highly discomforting visit to the dental chair. Switched to a new dentist and couldn't be happier: competent, patient, communicative, sensible office procedures, modern, great attitude. Night and day. The new dentists also cast doubt on the clinical basis for Dr. Do pushing me into multiple deep cleaning procedures (even reviewing the original X-rays and charting). I'll give Dr. Do the benefit of the doubt, but glad I moved on. read more

I'm a stress tooth grinder - have been all my life - and recently my teeth have given in to the pressure. Dr. Do is a fantastic dentist, and she and her team did great work on repairing/capping my poor molars, they do great work on routine cleanings (all while being very kind and empathetic, and not making me feel like a bad person for my less-than-perfect flossing practices), AND they fitted me for a night guard which really works! The night guard is much smaller than the ones I remember from my childhood, but is totally effective in not letting me clamp my back teeth down - so no grinding! Horrible experience - rude dentist and staff. Unnecessary procedures. We spent over 800 dollars on a mouth guard that Dr Do said was needed... that doesn't fit and asked to size correctly but did not fit and can not be used. Had multiple issues with the temp put in place for my husband with a crown being put in- it fell out 2 times.
