My first visit was Monday, 6/26/23. The chicken salad croissant was fresh and delish, accompanied by a tall glass of fresh crushed raspberry tea. If you are looking for a place to unwind, have a leisurely lunch or snack and enjoy conversation with your companionl, look no further. Stumbled upon this unassuming little place after shopping and needing to go to the bathroom. The building is cute but small and sitting alone in the corner of the parking lot. I was genuinely surprised and impressed once inside. So very very cute and cozy inside. It felt Hollywood glam to me but everything seemed to fit. And while their windows easily look outside to the parking lot, I didn't look outside once. I ordered a sweet tea and a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with a fruit salad side. The tea was extremely unique and had the ever so subtle flavor of orange slices. I can't describe it but it was the best I have ever had. The way the chef prepared the fruit salad and paired it with barely sweetened whipped cream was tremendous. I can't say how the chicken salad was made but it was fabulous and not flashy at all. The croissant was crispy on the outside and delicate on the inside. It paired nicely with the chicken salad. The decor truly whisks you away from everyday strife. Not my taste for home but between that and the light jaz music it makes you want sit and relax a while. I even remarked to my companion that it would be worth driving the hour to there from my home just to have a special lunch every once in a while. The wait staff didn't seem to speak much English but they did their best and we made it through the order. We did have to wait a while for our food but I sincerely felt it was worth it. AND for some reason it makes you want to slow down and savor every luscious bite. I was a little embarrassed that I kept moaning over my food. I will be back when guests visit and the next time I shop in Bradenton. So much more of a non run of the mill treat. read more

Wonderful experience at Amuse 5. Claudia is an excellent host who made us feel like friends. The place is beautiful, perfect to meet with friends and have coffee and pastries which were delicious. I had an almond covered croissant filled with almond cream. My husband tried the pecan one. Both are delicious, fresh and most important for me, they were not too sweet to offend your taste bud. They were sweet enough to enjoy and eat them all!! If you are around Bradenton-Sarasota area, I recommend you visit this place. You will not be dissappointed! read more

A really good experience - four stars but an extra star for standing out in the rather barren Bradenton eating-out scene. Very cute inside with seating for maybe 15 or so. Food was delicious, though I wish they included prices on their menu. I had a piece of chocolate cake which was good and a chicken salad croissant which was excellent. I'd only dock half a star for the music choice, some unnecessarily loud 80s soft rock channel. I hope that was playing just the day I was there. read more

Sent my daughter to get us breakfast on Saturday morning. Two croissants and 1 chocolate au pain for $13 and a twenty minute wait. It's not like they were baking them because the were soft with no distinguishing flakes that a croissant should have. Honestly, Publix is better! read more

What a find! Charming cafe/bakery/creperie. The owner/baker is a delightful woman who aims to please everyone who walks into Amuse 5. Sister and I ordered a few lattes, a breakfast crepe and then splurged on a berry crepe. Everything was delicious, lovingly prepared and beautifully presented. Every attention to detail is considered here. The entire cafe is spotless, (they even were hand watering the shrubs and plants along 41 to spruce up the look of the strip mall.) Each table was adorned with fresh roses, the furnishings and art are fun and inviting. We liked it so much we brought our husbands back on the same day for a late lunch to try more of their savory fare. Loved stroganoff crepe, chicken salad on croissant both come with a fresh and lightly dressed salad. There is a beautiful display of croissants, pastries, cakes and tortes as you enter. The croissants were every bit as good as C'est la Vie's ( maybe better) This place should be packed day and night... it is a gem in Bradenton. Don't overlook the location. Ample parking. A unique experience awaits you inside this little yellow standalone spot in the middle of a strip mall parking lot. read more

Happened to stop at this sunny spot one morning on someone's recommendation and I can't wait to stop again. Had a delicious ham & cheese crepe w/orange tomato purée and almond milk chia kissing topped with a perfect fruit sauce. I don't drink much coffee but when I do I hope dor the best and this coffee made me want more. It was perfect. The decor is jewel tone colorful but nothing is overwhelming and the artwork is perfect so someone has a good eye. Needless to say I'll be back! read more
