2.5 stars Maybe we went on an off day?!? My friend and I went for spa services while on a getaway to key west. Read rave reviews on trip advisor and Yelp. We first had trouble scheduling our appointments. I didn't realize they weren't open on Sunday and that had been our plan. But we settled for Saturday appointments. First, the shop was super cute. I sat down to fill out my info form prior to my massage and within 5 minutes I was brought back to the massage room. The courtyard was beautiful and the service room nicely set up. My therapist chatted with me briefly but I don't think she paid attention to what I wrote down on the form. Although the majority of the massage was relaxing, she did do a variety of stretches that took away from the relaxing experience. And the massage ended with a stretch vs on a relaxing note. I also think she may have been a smoker because while she worked near my face I thought smelled stale cigarettes - not pleasant. My friend had a few services. She loved her massage but her facial seemed questionable. She said she was covered in everything you could imagine and the technician kept slapping her face and moving a light a over her very quickly. Ultimately she didn't think the tech knew what she was doing. She also heard questionable loud music playing from a nearby business? Lots of swearing in the music not setting up a soothing experience. I travel a lot and love getting massages while on a trip. This ranks on the low end of my experiences. If it weren't for the beautiful shop/courtyard I would have given it 1-2 stars. read more

I wish I could give 10 stars. I will say it's been 10 months since I've has a professional cut and pedicure due to COVID. But when I found out that Amri had open air pedicures and cuts I was very excited. I had no idea that I'd get one of the best cuts and best pedicures I've ever had. Great place. I loved the concept and spa. I have two pairs of pants from here from previous visit. They were helpful in fixing my niece's hair after an unfortunate chlorine burn. My only negative is that a huge storm rolled through while I was there and my pedicure got messed up. They are so popular they didn't have time to repolish four nails that got messed up on my way home in the rain and wind. They did try to find a time, but unfortunately it was during my flight. read more

I had my hair and make up done for my wedding and I can't express how awesome it was! Courtney did both mine and my mom's make up and hair! She did exactly what I wanted and I was very pleased. She is also very sweet and I was very comfortable! It was my first time getting my makeup done and of course I was a bit nervous since I don't wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis (if any at all). The salon was also totally cool with us doing my photos there. Its such a beautiful set up and it was WAY better that doing pictures at our hotel. My photographer (shameless plug here) Stephanie Lynn Warga (Stephlynnphoto.com) has some gorgeous shots of the spa and they worked with us in accommodating our new plan! Yes, its a bit pricey but for your big day, it's totally worth it! My hair was a bit out of sorts after our beach ceremony with all the wind but I think it held up nice and I just needed to add a few pins to fix it (it was a REALLY windy day). Had I done my own hair and make up, I would have looked like a mess after the ceremony. I also opted for the airbrush foundation, again, more money but worth it. We went out and went to bars after and my make up was totally intact! Thank you Isle Style for everything!!! read more

While on vacation in Key West, I was in need of a massage. Isle was located maybe 4 or 5 blocks from my hotel, in Southernmost. Their on-line booking system is easy to use and required a 50% credit card hold. I was able to make a same day appointment, even with two cruise ships docked. Isle is super cute and seems to be a favorite among locals. The porch and front room has a check-in desk and clothing and accessories for sale. Tasteful clothing, nothing "souvenir/tacky". The second room has dressing rooms, a wide array of styling and high-end skin care products. Gina, the best massage therapist ever, greeted me and took me out the back door. There's a courtyard with plants and seating areas. It looks like some services could take place on the decking surrounding the garden. Gina's massage room was an upscale cabana. Three sold walls and one with glass sliders and privacy curtains. The walls were white and minimally, but tearfully, decorated. Gina discussed my needs/concerns from my intake form. I had an hour long massage but I could've stayed another hour, had I booked with more foresight and they having availability. Gina's great at what she does, very professional, and intuitive. I need deeper pressure, so there was a small upcharge, and the fee was presented before she started. There were no mystery charges. So, if you're a "conch" or a tourist, go see Gina at Isle; you won't regret it!! read more

I had a wonderful experience here for both my facial and manicure. Kelly did my facial. She is very sweet and gave me tips geared toward my specific skin care concerns through out the whole process. I loved the relaxing facial but also that I learned ways to improve my skin on a daily basis. Isle Style uses Eminence skincare products; a high-end organic skin care line. The entire line of products smells wonderful. Kelly sent me home with some samples that she believed would work with my skin. I am in love with several of the products that she picked. I truly believe that Kelly really knows her stuff. I've also been to Daymi twice for manicures. She does a beautiful job and is super fun to talk to. I am moving soon, but if I were staying in Key West I would definitely come to Isle Style routinely for manicures. read more

I was in my friend's wedding and the bride and bridal party got our hair and makeup done at Isle Style. They were super accommodating beforehand since we had to adjustments to our appointments a couple of times. When we got there the day of, they were so friendly and helpful. They even steamed out our bridesmaids dresses as we waited! We had three lovely ladies doing our hair and makeup and I can honestly say, none of us have ever looked so good in our lives!! Amri is an absolutely beautiful salon and I always feel comfortable from the moment I walk through the doors (where, at a lot of salons, I immediately feel put off by either the staff or the music). This entire space is *gorgeous*. The owner is clearly meticulous about visual details and her keen eye is such a breath of fresh (and inspiring!) air. The main reason that I go to Amri, however, is Hillary. She is, hands down, the best hair stylist I've ever been to. She really listens to you, gives you intelligent and thoughtful ideas about what might be a good things to switch up a bit with your hair, and she really takes her time with getting everything *just right*. I told her just today that she's the only stylist I've ever been to where I feel like MYSELF when I leave the salon. One sister said that it was the best message she's had - the massage therapist took out all the knots and stress from her neck and shoulders! The staff was so friendly and welcoming we immediately felt at home. The only negative was the outdoor spa room was noisy - between the airplanes and the street noise it was hard to tune it out. The front of the salon is an awesome boutique, I showed up too early for my appointment so I had time to shop around while I waited, I left with a really cute pair of wedges for only $50. Courtney did my hair, she cut it and gave my highlights and lowlights, it really didn't dent my wallet as hard as I expected either. The place is absolutely gorgeous too. Beautiful, relaxing paradise. There's an amazing zen garden in the middle of all the studios. Love the little boutique up front, you can walk around and shop while your color sets. I bought one of their candles as a gift for my husband. The candle holder turns into a tumbler that you can drink from after the candle burns out. They have such cute stuff! I've had my hair colored and cut by April a few times. I showed her a few pictures for inspiration and she nailed it. She's super friendly and makes the experience even more enjoyable.
