Attention Management: I am staying at a hotel across the street and just returned from this local am/pm It was just going on midnight but I am going through a divorce and after a long week and rough night.... I needed red wine and chocolate What I didn't need? Was the awful treatment I received from this horrible excuse for an employee I walked from the hotel across the street and had chosen to bring along my fashionable personally monnogrammed shoulder bag bag as I'd intended to load up on a bunch of snax for my dog and myself. And again, it's just across the street from my hotel so the bag would be perfect to bring back my wine and snack attack items. Or so I innocently thought This guy was mopping the floor when I let myself in I offered an unreturned smile and cheerful greeting and made a shy humorous apology.... if my shopping would mess up his floor... expecting him to say, "no problem" or something more welcoming instead of the silent mean dirty scoul he shot back at me. Yikes! But I've been house hunting all day and this was my only chance to get a few supplies to bring back to my hotel and unwind I was browsing for jerky and snack mix and .... Then ? He shouted across the store "Excuse me?" He yelled at me over the isles that separated Us "You're taking too long and you have a back pack. "How do I know you're not stealing " he accused. I'm the one and only person in the store and he never took his eyes off me. Yes. It was the first time Id come up for air all day. I was trying to enjoy pucking out some much needed and rare treats. I wasnt aware there is a time limit. Id been in the store less than 3 Minutes. I kept reminding myself that he couldn't possibly mind that I had the nerve to shop in the store. But I still took care to take as few steps as I could to respect his still wet mopped floor. I was startled and offended and fustered When he couldn't take me being in his presence anymore. Apparently... So I quit my browsing and felt I had to get out of there I was the only person in the store besides this very angry employee behind the counter. He clearly couldn't wait to have the place all to himself again He was angry with me for being there since I first had the nerve to show up I was so taken aback and insulted and suddenly felt so uncomfortable I did not want to be in this store with this angry man I gave up my quest for creature comforts and raced with whatever I'd gathered to the counter he towered over and I Thrust the items I'd had the little time to gather onto the counter and started to apologize for giving him my business but he was so rude and angry and impatient. Like he'd never been so disgusted by the nerb of someone bothering him at this hour I could not get out of there fast enough Of course I realize that places like this can be dangerous at night But I'm a 57 year old woman wearing designer clothes and being as friendly as can be I'm white and attractive and well enough dressed. Not that any of this should at all matter It's just.... I've never been profiled and accused and ever felt so incredibly unwelcome in any store like this before He had me so flustered and was overly dramtatic as he sighed and paced with irritation and impatience as I searched my bag for my credit card with a very unexpected nervousness and as I felt all of the impact of his rushing me out of his store like I had no right at all to bother him and invade his personal space He atared at me like he was trying to make me feel incapable of paying. Making mocking pffft sounds like a woman like me wouldnt have the money or something.... I know. Im making it sound ovearly dramatic Trust me If it wasn't ? I have many more important things to be doing than to figure out how to submit a Yelp review because I'm so upset right now I don't know what he needed the store for all to himself like that but CLEARLY this customer was terribly unwanted Again.... I'm sure his job comes with unsavory characters from time to time But is Saturday just before midnight okay to go to am/pm? Or is that too late for a nice lady like me to shop at your store? I was weary of people out this late But the street was quiet as can be There was no one in sight at all Who knew the creepy person I'd dreaded running into being out so late at night? Was in charge of the mini mart? The am/pm employee was all over me and with his insults and vulgarity I seriously worried about someone outside causing me grief so I took this bad ass trip right across the totally bare and empty well lit street in a nice middle class suburban area at my own risk only to find the streets safe and that danger lurked within This guy had no right to ruin My night like this Unkind Unfair Not Right read more

This morning at 6:13 me and my husband stop to put gas , he need to use the restroom first so he goes in asking to use the restroom and the lady at the front tells him it's for customers only and that he needed to get out , The most rudest worker ever , I don't know what made her think he wasn't going to buy gas or anything after using the restroom. read more

Ok, disclaimer. I come here all the time, and usually love the service from the gentleman manager bc his workers work in mid day. BUT THERES AN IDIAN LADY WHO IS RUDE AS HELL AND IVE HAD ENOUGH!!! I came in an got a coffee. ***The Indian lady has literally had a problem with me before. I came in for water two days in a row, first day at 5am she was hesitant but said ok. I mean water is free and I had my own reusable cup I showed and approached her before filling. The second day she yelled at me in front of customers during the before work shift again at 5 am saying "IT CANT BE EVERYDAY" I laughed and said it's literally 2 days yesterday and today She said exactly not everyday I said 2 days is everyday? WTF?!?!*** But I go in line around 6:06 -6:07 ish and a lady is in front of me being helped by that old Indian woman (who's TERRIBLE!!!!) but everything went smoothly then I was next I go up to the counter. She rung my coffee up and I wanted to scan my app and she said Well? Go head scan it. Looking at me to reach my arm around her register to scan my phone when she just is supposed to (maybe not supposed to but maybe literally EVERY WORKER BEFORE HER AT AMPM) will take the scanner and beep the customers phone. Holding a purse and hot coffee in the way, I reach for the scanner (as she tells me it doesn't move) pick it up and scan my phone. She proceeds to tell me they don't do that because customers don't like having their phone touched by her. WELL DUH?!?! (Literally explaining her job) I told her how she doesn't need to grab the phone. She grabs her scanner and beeps the phone. Yes I tell her she's stupid bc she keeps saying "but the people don't like the touching of the phone" (I didn't need to repeat a 4th time she didn't need to touch others phones) I go to pay. And the keypad says "waiting" Meaning the worker hasn't moved along the process. She watches me try to pay. Walks around the counter literally right behind my shoulder. Uncomfortable, I grab my stuff and go beside her so she can do whatever she was behind me for. she simply says keep going. I tell her how it says waiting. *She then looks into my purse and says what's that?! I said OHHH NOW YOU WANNA ACCUSE ME OF STEALING. What's what?! What are you looking at. I took my jolly ranchers out and she said "No no- ug" and walks back to her register. "Paper" she grabs Reciept paper and rubs it over the machine. (I know she meant to put the paper on the card then insert the card, bc I know she ain't that du mb) but she rubbed the buttons then went to her computer and hit ONE BUTTON! The machine said "processing" then "slide, tap or insert" I turned it and showed her she didn't know how to do her job or she was purposely being rude she said "no no I told you paper work. It not work bc you moved it" I know she ain't talking about me turning it to her to show her it said "WAITING" --ps she knew she had to hit the button bc she obviously did it for the woman in front AND she hit it after rubbing paper on the screen and keypad SUMMARY: you pay her too much.
