I love Aldi. It was the infamous red bagged chicken tenders that first brought me here. But they actually have great quality fruits that are often sweet and fresh. They also have great coffee and cheeses. When I'm doing keto, I love the keto options here, like keto bread and keto bagels. I find myself spending way too much time going through the aisle with random kitchen, household, and clothing items. I've also picked up some cute outfits, accessories, and even furniture for my dogs. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. It's also a huge plus that they have clean bathrooms. read more

This is my favorite Aldi in the area. All the people who work here are very kind and helpful. I'm here shopping at least twice and sometimes 3 times a week. I find that other Aldi stores in the area sometimes have slightly higher prices in things. The only disappointment I have is that Aldi stopped sending weekly flyers through the mail. I really liked getting the flyers and comparing with the other weekly ads I receive. Now I have to go online to see the weekly ad from my local Aldi. The Aldi finds aisle is addictive. I almost always pick up something from the finds aisle every week. There are some things that I need that Aldi just doesn't carry so I do shop other grocery stores but this is still my main go-to store for groceries. read more

I haven't been here lately since I usually shop at the other one closer to my home. This store has more variety/ selection than the other one. As I got out of the car a sweet gentleman with a USMC cap steered a cart toward me. He said he was paying it forward since someone did that for him. I thanked him & thanked him for his service. How nice & unexpected! The store is immaculate & very organized. Aisles are wide & unobstructed. Employees are still very friendly and helpful. The only gripe is that some items are too high for me to reach. Thankfully, another shopper came to my rescue. I found everything I needed and then some. I bought some nice home decor (ALDI FINDS) items at great prices like a retractable wall hook for only $9.99 and a pair of towel holder hooks for $4.99. I always expect a positive shopping experience here. And yes, I paid it forward & gave my cart to another customer. read more

I love going to Aldi & this store is so convenient on the way home. The store is a lil smaller but has everything you'll need for whatever you are planning to cook. ALDI is a unique chain of grocery stores with a unique subset of Foods at low prices unlike any other store for items such as strawberries, coffee creamer, cheeses, meats, chicken, milk & almond milk, eggs, breakfast sausage, Nathan's Hot Dogs, frozen seafood, ice cream, wine and select beers sold by the 6-pack. There's salad dressing, sauces, Asian seasonings condiments, honey, cereal, bread, lettuce, a little bit of everything in a small store at very competitive prices. Exiting the store seems to be the biggest issues the shoppers experience after shopping there. Six check -stands but never enough cashiers to stock more than two registers to get shoppers out in a reasonable amount of time without waiting in a long line. read more

UPDATE: I thought I'd give this store another chance, they still suck. I got rotten pork chops here about a year ago. It hasn't changed because a lot of the meat packages have expanded and are clearly going or have gone bad. Clearly this is mishandling allowing packages to either go without proper refrigeration or putting unrealistic expiration dates. I think any proper store manager would know this and remove them. Bottom line, stay away from perishables, especially meat. Or just shop at a professionally managed store. read more

I'm so disgusted with their online shopping experience that I HAD to write a review. first off, it gets hung up more times than not so you're constantly clicking refresh in order to move to the next option. Then there's not many options to choose from. I'm so frustrated by the time I finish shopping that my ears are ringing! is the website safe or is it corrupted? On top of it all I spend $230 (no meat in sight) trying to save $14 and get free delivery, unto which they ADD a $20 service fee plus a tip of their own design on TOP of holding $30 more than the total promising to return it after 7 whole days...I should've just door dashed albertsons. I was trying to SAVE MONEY! I gotta basket full of no brand snacks and sodas and ONE carton of eggs. read more

My biggest complaint is that there are NEVER any plastic bags in the meat department. I have to walk over to the produce section and search for bags for the bloody packages of meat. I let the cashier know today how there are never bags over there and asked him if he could rely the message to the manager and he didn't respond so I asked him again if he could please do that for me and he told me it wouldn't do any good. This is the first Aldi in the Temecula Valley and let me tell you, this place does not disappoint. Their vegges are always fresh. They are friendly and the store is always clean. They have one seasonal aisle full of useful things and I just love their selections. The cart system is genius because it forces people to pay a quarter and put the cart back where you got it. That way you will always have responsible shoppers. I am not sure if they have a cart locking system but I do know that there is one way in and one way out. Have always had positive interactions with the cashiers and associates here. Good selection of cheeses, wines and speciality items. DO NOT SHOP HERE!! I recently bought hummus and a turkey wrap from here. The hummus had a huge thing of mold on it and the wrap said it was good till 08/05 which is clearly a wrong date bc why would turkey last that long? It was purchased 07/09. It tasted super funky. My wife went shopping at store 64 located at 29655 Rancho California Road inTemecula, CA .  She gathered 5 items and carried them in a box and put them on the belt for checkout. The cashier named Tahiem, was very rude and disrespectful, demanding that she unload the box next time. We've shopped Aldi many times and almost always keep the items in a box. All locations are clean, well organized and social distancing and safety precautions are in place from reminder stickers on the floor to sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer readily available for customers. This has only been my second or third time to this location since they opened since it's the furthest one from us, but I was actually able to score a few extra things today that they didn't have at the Murrieta location. I sure did hoard a bunch of those delicious Hawaiian bagels my kids love so much! Compared to the newest Murrieta store, they are both on the same level when it comes to inventory, they also have a large selection in their AOS (Aldi's Finds) aisle as well. Service at checkout was quick and friendly, DaVonna was a doll and noticed me struggling without a cart (thought I was only grabbing a few things, fat chance lol) and actually helped me bag all my purchases. They have a ridiculous policy that requires you to put a quarter in the cart in order to release it from the lock. I did not have a quarter so I was forced to carry my fussy toddler through the store. I actually got dirty looks from the employees and the cashier was extremely rude. Today I shopped at Adli for the last time, I was thinking of stop shopping at Aldi for a long time and today really was the last time for many reasons. Long check-out line and always only one cashier, empty shelves, rude and untrained employees, who really doesn't give S" to the customer. Today I saw they brought organic strawberry after weeks but there wasn't any price tag so I asked the only employee in the store who surprisingly was working on the shelve next to me, how much is the organic strawberry I asked, I don't know she rudely answered, can you please ask I said, ask the cashier she said rudely again, how stupid and rude the answer was, It would be too late to ask the cashier by checking out, so much for the marketing, I asked because I wanted to buy more if the price was good. At the stand I asked the cashier, the price was fair like I said before it was too late for me to go and grab some more, I asked the cashier about the manager and he called the manager, Gloria came as manager, I explain my experience with that employee, she listened and said I am sorry about it before she turned her back to me and disappear again, so much of the manager, seems to me they don't train their employees at all. After clearing my groceries into my house I realized my purse wasn't with me. Jacob got a hold of it somehow and he put it away in the office. Words can't express how appreciative I am! We like Aldi. Visited the new Aldi's in Carson and was soooo disappointed. Brand new store and it looked so dirty and trashy. Trash bins overflowing at the entrance. Plastic bags and paper trash on the floor of the entrance way. Shelves not neat, staff ignoring shoppers, so not like the Aldi's we have been to in Torrance. It made us sad. read more

So disappointed in the store as a whole. I kept hearing raves about their produce and products in general. I'm not sure what I would come to ALDIs for in the future. Produce selection isn't big. Frozen breakfast is one small door in their entire frozen section. They had more random items like shoes, shirts and toys than food products. Maybe I'll try again in the fall when their infamous pumpkin spice whip cream is in. read more

I stopped at Aldi on rancho california yesterday I normally shop at the one closer to my home however I was driving by an made a big mistake to stop at this one I grabbed a few items and headed to the checkout counter when I was placing the items on the counter belt a I don't know how but I grabbed a jar of orange juice close to the cap which I normally do but this one some how got open and spilled all over including my clothes and what a surprise no body but no body did anything to assist me with the clean up I have to go to a nearby check stand to get some paper towels to dry up myself a female employee came by and took the broken juice jar and just gave me a no so friendly look didn't even have the minimum demeanor of try to understand what costumer service is moreover the male cashier was a every time sitting in his chair no caring about warning other store shoppers of the wet floor I have to tell them to be careful no to step in the spilled orange juice!!!! Attention store managers this happened Monday September 11th about 4:45. Check the footage if you care about your job if you do use it for training purposes... I am very sorry that I have to post this review but I felt so disappointed with the employees behavior I truly like aldi's food and I may go back into another store but the one on rancho california never ever.. I've been shopping here for less than a year and this has become my favorite store! You think their prices are low, but sometimes it gets ridiculously low! Like last week, the price of their large dozen eggs went from .99 to .45, their white bread from .89 to.65 and I think their bananas went from .39 to .25. Unlike other store who make up their low prices by charging other goods high prices, Aldi's prices are competitive to very low. They have a very good system to be able to provide low prices. 1.) They don't pay for someone to get carts. People automatically return their cart to get their quarter back (that they put in initially to use the cart. 2.) They don't pay for baggers. You bag your own groceries. 3.) Their employees can do more because they're not tired ringing people up ( because they sit) which means they need less employees. 4) Their lines moves fast because the bagging is done in a different area by the customer, so there's no one holding the line. I'm subtracting 1 star for their online store. 1. I've wasted hours choosing the products I want for delivery but their online store won't process my order. 2.I called Aldi and they passed me to instacart.com. I called instacart and the person I talked to was very slow in talking, couldn't spell my name and email right and can't solve my problem. 3. They say "save time, save money shop online" but that's not true. Not only do they charge delivery fee, they also charge 5% service fee and 5% tip. The site says tipping is optional but when the tip amount is already there , it seems evil to change it to zero. You don't tip the person delivering products from Kohl's or Amazon, why tip someone delivering the groceries? Their prices are also higher online than in their store (but still lower than most stores) I might just have to go to their actual store to shop and forget about online shopping but I might give it another shot in the future, when they still have the 10 off coupon. read more

Just shopped Aldi for the first time and I loved it! I'm a real shopper and know a good bargain when I see one. I was a bit hesitant because most of what they sell are brands I've never heard of. I spent a little over a 100 bucks on things that would be 200 at my bigger grocers. So far all the products have been excellent and taste the same as name brands. This place has many choices of cheap food and good bundles from dry food to meats, to cereal to pots and pans! They have the best deal in town for gatorades, it's really cheap and the selection isn't bad just so many things to choose from cause it could be bigger but they have some cheap stuff! Both employees, one by the name of Gloria I believe, assisted me in locating a certain product and also did some checking for me on the stock of a meat product that I was inquiring about. Both were very helpful and couldn't have been any nicer. They provided great customer service and went above and beyond my expectations. For a quasi-neighborhood local grocery store this is my favorite. We usually do most of our major shopping at other stores, but when we need a few things this is the place we go. We always end up leaving with more items than we planned on, because they carry some unique products. The brands they sell, for the most part, are different from the major brands at typical grocery stores. However, every one of them that we tried has been just as good - if not better! Prices are great, as well! Yes, we are fans for sure! Some of their pre-made items are actually quite tasty, such as their pizzas and tamales. Reasonably priced as well! Ingress and egress is excellent! they have a traffic light to enter/exit, if needed, and you don't have to traverse a crowded strip mall to get to the store. I like the aspect of having to put a quarter in to get a cart, which you get back once you return it. It keeps inconsiderate jackasses from leaving the carts strewn about the parking lot, carts that can block stalls and roll into people's vehicles. It also keeps walkers from leaving them on street corners or in neighborhoods, as well as vagabonds (transients) from using them as personal property transport units. I'm shocked I have yet to see one of the ne'er-do-wells wandering the parking lot and soliciting your cart for the quarter return. It's probably only a matter of time before that happens and pisses me off. Sad, but true... read more

This location has the worst customer service!!! My mom went here to check if they have the pressure washer in stock because it was their "Aldi Finds" for the week. My mom approached two of the customer service staff there, gave her an attitude like my mom doesn't know what she's talking about. I was on the phone with my mom and I heard them telling my mom, "What is that? I have never heard that before?! We never get those kind of merchandise! Short version sentence of this full review: Rude, condescending service from an employee named Edwin. Ya know, in case you don't wanna read this whole review. So this place is awesome. I come here alot to primarily buy produce because let's be honest, produce at Walmart is horrible & Target is pricey. I come here to buy produce & interesting new finds but end up going to Walmart anyway to buy other things. However, this isn't the reason I'm giving the place (2) stars. I love this place, I really do. The staff is actually very nice and I'm assuming it's because I come in every Sunday. We converse well. Today though, I'm starting to believe my family dealt with a new employee ( between 11am-12pm) who didn't know how the Aldi system works or rather is still learning customer service or simple human communication. I came at a different time later in the day myself to buy something after work (1pm). His name is Edwin, according to my family's receipt. He was still working when I was there but he didn't ring me up because I ended up moving to a new line they had to open up since his service was slowing down and the line was getting longer and longer. Anyways, the way the Aldi system works is - you have your cart (after putting a quarter in to get it and get the quarter back when you put your own cart back). You get rung up. The cashier puts your food in the cart you came with & you take the cart to the bagging area. Well today, the individuals in front of my family didn't take their cart. So since they didn't take their cart, the cashier (Edwin) started automatically putting my family's groceries in the other individuals cart that was left behind. With common sense, my family thought, okay.. we'll just hold our cart to the other empty cashier. As my family proceeds to take their cart to bag our groceries, Edwin grabs the cart full of our groceries & forcefully pulls it next to him. He then says in a condescending and defensive tone "Did you come in with a cart? Where'd your cart go?" My family states "Yeah. The people in front of us didn't take their cart & you just started putting OUR groceries in the cart. So we moved our cart to the side - right there." He doesn't say anything... .... okayyy? Is this dude for some reason assuming we're stealing quarters or something?? From a place where my family purchases a value over $30 worth of groceries?? Haha. All I can say is Aldi's - Temecula staff, you may need to keep him on evaluation for now and how he interacts with customers. With a store of minimal staff interaction, you should probably make your best staff members be the ones to interact with the customers... not restocking. read more
