Very busy gas station. People were pulling boats and trailers. The pumps were all full. The gas was just around 5 bucks.

Whenever we're going on a trip, I can rely on ampm, specifically this location, to be there with everything I need. They're open any time we come by, have decent priced gas, hot food or snacks, and a bathroom that's open to customers. Customer service could be better but it's a gas station so it's expected. This AM PM is a pretty good spot to stop for gas or a snack. I buy gas there on a occasion. But, I mostly stop there for the cheap snacks or the very reasonably priced fountain drinks. They always have a great selection. The staff there is always helpful and very friendly. It's a great place to stop if you need a quick refuel for you or your vehicle. I rarely stop and get gas at Arco. I do like their prices but most are run down. They don't take credit cards. And this one didn't surprise me. This one is very busy. There are 4 other gas stations within a block and 2 within 500 feet. So since being the cheapest. It gets crowded fast and mainly always. On bad thing about this place it is hard to pull in. Usually full of cars. Then since most people are trying to get back on the highway. Its hard to get out. You have to cross the road to get to the Freeway. You better going up the hill heading east for a half mile and get gas there. Sure Arco is right off the freeway but you and everyone else gets off that road. Maybe for a bit stop or to go to the lake. Now lets talk dirty. Yes about their bathrooms. If you need to go. You should go across the street to Denny's or any restaurant near by. You will be thankful you did. So if you want cheap prices on gas. This is a good place. But you can drive down 3 more exits and find another Arco. With cleaner restrooms and better access getting in and out. read more

Cheap gas, friendly employees, and the perfect location at the intersection of the 46 and the 101 made this the perfect pit stop to fill up on gas and coffee whenever I road tripped from Bakersfield to San Luis Obispo (and back) to go dancing on Tuesday nights with friends. I stopped in here often in my pre-Yelping days and when I returned in January while on my way to Monterey for a dance competition it brought back many happy memories of road trips of days gone by with carloads of dancing buddies that always seemed to involve a pit stop here around 11:30-midnight to fortify ourselves for the long drive back to Bakersfield. The gas is still cheap. The restrooms are still clean. The coffee is piping hot. And the lady working the register was very friendly. Many places don't live up to my rose-colored memories of days gone by, but this Arco certainly does. read more

I was traveling to San Diego this week, and since I had stopped here in Paso Robles for something to eat I figured I would top off my gas tank here. I was very surprised to see that the gas station was completely empty during this time of the day, but I am guessing with as many people that was at the county fair at the moment, this location would get very busy. I enjoyed how clean and well maintained this location was, and I would agree with the other reviewer the gas prices are the lowest in the area, they are about 5 to 10 cents lower, and since I was trying to save every cent during my trip, this was a huge saving for me. I filled up with gas for the car and some snacks for me, and in less than 15 minutes (most of it in the restroom) I was ready to get back in the freeway to continue my trip down to San Diego. If you are looking for a good quality and reasonable gas, this would be my recommendation for you to come to. read more

We stopped here because we knew there was a Starbucks nearby and it was right off the freeway. I should have used my gas buddy app to find which cities had cheaper gas because even though I paid less than Chevron, if I waited until King City I could have saved a few dollars on our road trip. After calling the office manager I was in contact with the owner of this establishment. The owner was so polite n respectful about the horrific treatment I was given by her employee with that said I feel that the matter was taken care of professionally and I thank her for taking my complaint serious. Do not trust this Arco, they are dirty crooks and their employees are thieves. I mistakenly left $18 on a pump while on a road trip. After realizing what had happened I called immediately and explained my situation and that I would be back in a couple days to pick up the money. I was told a note with my name was put to the side. When I went back the person working in formed me that neither him nor the manager nor owner had any idea what I was talking about and told me I was out of luck. Either the owner is a thief are the people he has working for him are. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!!! read more
