Not all gas stations offer the alternative gas & is extremely difficult to find so, The cool thing is that she downloaded an app that finds gas stations that offer ethanol gas. The cool thing that the app can search by cities; we selected Long Beach The app brought us to this Shell gas station way off the 405 freeway on Del Amo Blvd/Cherry St. This Shell gas station is very clean and well maintained and it has a small convenience store that sold a lucky Cal Lotto ticket that won 1 million dollars. Is a definitely a good-safe spot to get some gas & continue on our journey home.

It is located in an ideal spot to get gas and get back on the freeway. It is fairly average. What is unique is the Mini Mart which ALWAYS has specials! Twice I got energy drinks at a whopping $1.50 each. That is cheaper than the grocery store and any coffee. These deals have me liking this place as a stop to get gas. Yup, I sure do love getting gas. Being able to get a quick pick me up while the gas is pumping.

Station was bright and clean, but lots of oil stains on the ground. Anyhoo, drove on up to an open gas pump. Scanned my credit card. Choose my octane of choice. Pumped away. It was a very quick visit. I didn't go inside the Circle K, but I felt there were more people inside the food mart than at the pumps. Gas prices were a bit higher than what I'm used to at where I live, but sometimes we gotta pay a bit more for the convenience and more so for the need at the moment. And I needed gas at the moment. The owners were friendly & immediately directed us to the stack of cups for free slurpee. Giving them 4 stars for having the cups neatly organized and not minding all the people coming in just for the free slurpees & leaving without purchasing anything. Some people didn't even say 'thank you' or acknowledge them in any way. It was a nice treat on a hot day & took me back to my childhood summers.

When I finally told her what I wanted, she repeatedly asked me the same questions as if she wasn't listening. It was clear she was having a hard time containing whatever emotion she may have been experiencing, whether from outside of work or due to work, but unfortunately, it spilled over into her customer service. I would encourage management to either provide her with retraining or have a conversation with her about professionalism. Everyone else here has always been courteous, so it's unfortunate that one bad interaction can overshadow an otherwise great experience.

Thank you Sir! I ended up getting 3 frozen salmons just to try them. Salmon was super tasty and well seasoned. Perfect with a bowl of white rice. One small gripe, tons of melted butter from the 3 blotches of butter on top. Maybe cut down to one blotch. Just a thought.
