This place was filled at the pumps when I arrived. The service was amazing! Jon the manager(I'm assuming) was very polite and chill. My card kept messing up and he was patient. I filled up here on a recent trip, was not very busy on a Friday at 11am. Pumps are a bit worn down, graffiti scratches, etc. making pay at the pump a little difficult to read. Bathrooms are outside to the right of main entrance, also a little worn but not horrible. read more

I'm not one to notice gas stations along the way until the time comes when the tank is on "E" and we are in desperate need of gas. Fortunately, this station was conveniently available right when we needed them! Writing reviews about a gas station is not likely to be read by most people who are only searching for a nearby station and not particularly interested in individual experiences. But as a loyal Yelper, I always feel compelled to write something about a business that I patronize. As far as gas stations go, they fit the bill as being a good, solid filling station. They are conveniently located just off the freeway and they had cheaper than most gas prices. Although it was busy, they had a sufficient number of pumps to keep customers moving along, with plenty of driving room to get around the lot. However, we did suffer through some difficulties trying to use the credit card machine on the pump. We had to stand out in rainy and windy weather, while it kept saying there was an error right after accepting the card. It was too busy and for us to try another pump, but eventually after several tries, it worked without explanation. Three stars because we were thankful to have an Arco AM/PM around when we needed them, especially when waiting the last minute to get gas! read more

Is it an Arco thing?! Just like the one located at Santa Nella, it is the cheapest gas station around the area. I mean, what a difference - I saw another not too far from here charging up to $0.60 more per gallon! How does that even work? It was the most crowded (reasonably) but easy to get in and out of. This is a huge AM/PM ARCO located off the Frasier Park exit at the top of the Grapevine. We stopped in for some munchies you bring out to PMC for the weekend. They had a large selection of snacks, beverages, beer, wine, hot prepared foods, sandwiches, etc. The cashier was on it and bounced back and forth from one register to another to make sure people were being checked out promptly. And although we didn't buy gas, their prices were very inexpensive for the area! What a great set up! Great job. read more

I HIGHLY ADVISE NO ONE GET GAS AT THIS GAS STATION. ESPECIALLY, IF YOU ARE ON A ROAD TRIP TO LA LIKE WE WERE WERE. WE FOUND AN OILY CONTAMINANT IN THE GAS WE GOT AT THIS STATION ON 6/24/18. ALSO, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY REPUGNANT. After getting gas, our car was spewing thick white smoke from the back as soon as we got onto the on-ramp. The car was too unsafe, so we had it towed from Lebec to a toyota dealership in LA. At the dealership, they immediately found that the fuel had been contaminated. The technician had to basically take out the tank, drain it , and purge the lines. And that wasn't the end of our car problems. After draining the tank, they found that the catalytic converter was busted. And they said it was probable that it happened as a direct result of the contaminated fuel. WE LOST OVER $1200 BECAUSE OF THIS. We had to pay to stay at a hotel an extra night in LA and pay for Ubers/Lyft because of repairs. And keep in mind we were on vacation. Last Tuesday, We spent most of the day (that was supposed to be part of nice and relaxing vacation) sitting in a lobby surrounded by all our luggage because we had no where else to go. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, the greatest irony in all this is that I got PREMIUM. PREMIUM! When the dealership first found the contaminated fuel, they initially said it was diesel because it's a very common contaminant. But it was only later after we called to report it to arco, did they find out it was some type of oil after some simple tests. That was their mistake, but it didn't change the fact that something was wrong with the gas we got. I mention this because when we first called this ARCO to tell them something was wrong, the man who picked up started yelling at us. Saying things along the line of "YOU'RE LYING! YOU'RE WRONG! THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!" over and over again. We had no choice but to hang up and call corporate. And after explaining everything to the customer service rep including the costly repairs, they haven't even refunded as much as the cost of the gas yet. Then, an hour or two later we get a call from a woman that was either this station's owner or manager. She tells us they are inconvenienced because of our complaint. That they had to shut down the pumps and take them apart to analyze them. And she also insists that we must of gotten that gas somewhere else. Okay, first of all she's telling us how inconvenienced she is when we were pretty much stranded in LA. Far away from from family or friends that could help. I was crying and worried and so was our entire family. Second, I have so much documentation that there was no way I could have gotten this contaminated fuel anywhere else. I have a bank statement that says I got gas at a Sacramento Arco and then the Lebec Arco and the transactions are right next to each other. I have dash cam footage that shows us pulling into the station and getting gas at pump 3. Anyway, the day after we talk to that women, we get a call from another woman that seems to be the GM or district manager. She basically said she would be handling our case. She exchanged e-mail and contact information with us. However, when when we sent a list of evidence that we had that the gas was contaminated there was no reply. It's been about 5 days since we sent that email. Arco was very responsive at first, but it really seems like now that we actually have a case against them they're ignoring us. read more

Cheap gas yes, bathrooms no. They charge you a $0.45 fee to use credit or debit and there's no functioning bathroom. At least not when I went. The attendee was super rude when I had asked for restrooms. I'd come here to get cheap gas again when traveling to and from SoCal, but remember to bring cash because that extra fee is just not worth it in my opinion. read more

This particular gas station is located on I-5 overpass. There is a flying J right now that has been damaged by fire I guess, so everyone is trying to fuel up on near by gas stations. This gas station is packed all the time, sometimes you will have to wait to get gas. But I'm pretty sure then that Flying J will get remodeled back again it will not be that packed then the toilets inside are pretty dirty. But who cares when you need to pee really bad right lol. This is THE best gas station to stop at if you traveling up/down this section of the 5 freeway. It's consistently cheaper than almost any gas station that you can find in Gorman (next town south), Tejon Ranch (north on the 5 at the bottom of the hill), or Castaic (south on the 5 at the bottom of the hill), so if you're traveling through don't be shy to stop here! Sometimes the Flying J (a block away) has it beat by a couple of cents. The AM PM is open 24/7 and there is no key for the bathroom, so even if you just need to stop to do that, you're good. They're pretty standard for a gas station bathroom. Each one is just one stall. The coffee is decent, they have a wide variety of snacks to purchase, and Quiznos (but they have different operating hours). I haven't eaten any of the food from here (just coffee), so I can't really comment on it. Keep in mind that as an Arco, they only accept cash & debit card (with a $.45 transaction fee), no credit cards! read more

Just passing through and I HAD to write a review about this place. The staff is kind. They are not personable but they are professional. The bathrooms are very well maintained. I had arrived just after they began cleaning but you could tell it was a maintained cleanliness and not a new cleanliness. I'm so impressed at how clean the store and facilities are. They even offer complimentary hand sanitizer near the gas pumps. I'm just so impressed at how clean it is. read more

Very rude cashier and very rude manager... Called first to make sure that the gas price mentioned online is the same actually that they are honoring at the gas station and both the cashier and the manager said we can not give you the price over the phone, I asked are they honoring the online price and she doesn't have to mention the price and the manager just hang up the phone. Went to the gas station and the cashier denied that the manager is actually their, daaaah. Cashier name is Madia or that is what she said. However there was a welcoming Syrian guy, service was fast and the price was right beside the disrespectful manager and cashier. read more

Easy to access and easy to find right off the freeway. If you are travelling to or from Los Angeles area, it is quick and convenient.

I don't expect a gas station in the middle-of-nowhere to have the best bathrooms or service, but what I expect is from a corporate gas station is a modicum of service. I stopped to get gas and use the bathroom. I was surprised at how dirty the bathroom was (this was inside the store and not outside), and by the broken paper towel dispenser, and the soap dispenser that DID NOT have any soap. But the real kicker was when I spoke with one of the store clerks who was stocking shelves nearby and informed her (pink hair, caucasian woman) about this, she decided to listen to me and then look away, without answering me. So when I asked again if the other bathroom had any soap her response was "why don't you check for yourself," in the rudest "Shoshana" voice possible. I checked the other bathroom which also did not have any soap. I did not want to ask her again, given that there is a Trump flag very close to this store, and just overall screams to be an unsafe area for someone like me. read more

I pooped here! The bathroom was working with no line, so YAY. Gas was only $2.35 a gallon and the cheapest I found in my weird road trip through heartland complete with vultures eating roadkill and Trump supporters *shiver*. I went all the way to Oakdale. This was the cheapest cheaper than costco even. This is the last exit before the trek back to SD up the grapevine, so gas up and download, heh. read more

There are few things more depressing than stopping after 4 hours of driving, desperate for a bathroom and then opening the door to the most digusting filthy place. Had to leave and go elsewhere. Indoor bathrooms are "out of order" Outdoor bathrooms made a Porta potty look clean. Flies. FLIES in the bathroom near the feces encrusted toilet. So gross. As a female motorcycle rider on my first trip alone thru the grapevine pass from SF to Long Beach, I completely under dressed and suffering hypothermia in the 23 degree weather plus wind chill factor on my bike. I pulled in at midnight, barely able to move, and Toby... my am/pm angel rushed a bucket over to me to sit on, got my coffee and a bear claw, and kept me compliant for 45 minutes until I was thawed out. The whole time cleaning the store meticulously. Cleanest restroom on my whole 1,000 mile trip that weekend! So much more to praise them for but no room so I will end by saying... myself and my fellow bikers will forever be their customers from now on at this location! read more

I live in the area and I was excited when they renovated this place. Too bad it's such a hateful place for woman. I would describe this place as the one of the most misogynistic place in this town. I was ignored when I asked for help. Then made to wait. Then finally a guy came out from the back grunted at me. Another time I was with a friend who stood in line while the clerk (a woman) rung up all the men in line first. My friend had one item finally she just put her item on the counter and told the clerk she didn't need to stand there to be ignored and didn't need them. I was told not to go there by some neighbors but I had to see for myself. Apparently, there is a growing community that won't go there. So it depends on all the traffic off the highway. They don't care if they never see you again. I'm hoping corporation will look at this place and step in because it needs help! read more

This place has the best price for gas but that is theonly thing good about this place. I put my credit card in the machine at the pump and it wouldn't come back out. The lame ass girls in the station just said it happens all the time and didn't want to be bothered. This happened on a Sat. and they said they could not get it out until Monday when the Brinks truck comes to empty the money. It's Monday night and no card yet. read more
