I requested a quote on their website, and I received an estimate within a couple of hours. Everyone I talked to on the phone was extremely helpful and thoroughly answered all of my questions. The movers arrived right on time on the day of the move, and the cost actually ended up being significantly lower than the original quote. That said, their rates are very reasonable and totally worth every penny. Both of the movers were very polite, professional, and focused. I've lived in several other apartment complexes in Gainesville, but I'd always just moved all of my boxes either by myself or with a friend. These guys got the job done in a fraction of the time that it would have taken me on my own. Both my old apartment and my new apartment are on the 3rd floor, but that didn't seem to slow them down at all, even with the heat & humidity in the middle of July. I just watched in awe as they effortlessly lifted all of my heavy boxes, often two at a time, and only stopped for a couple of seconds at a time to catch their breath. Moving is pretty stressful, but they made the whole process exponentially easier for me. I will absolutely recommend Two Men and a Truck to anyone I know who's moving. At the new house, they did a decent job unloading the truck and bringing our stuff into the house. Nothing was damaged. The only thing that prevented me from giving five stars was the estimate and billing methodology. The estimate had an hour of travel time on it, but my new place is only between 5 and 10 minutes from my old place. I assumed that this would factor into the final price, but there is a minimum of $500(ish), which covers two hours of labor and an hour of travel time, regardless of actual travel time. Service was great... Just a little bit of weirdness with billing.

I WAIT TWO MORE DAYS, AND NO ONE PICKED UP. In my voicemail, I also wanted to ask if the $100 I deposited was refundable because when you book a move, you need to put a $100 to secure your booking. So, I got fed up of waiting to call the next day and sent an email asking to cancel my move and ask if I could be refunded. I wake up this morning to an email, an AUTOMATED EMAIL, that my move was canceled. Okay, that's good. My original objective was done. However, the fact that no one wanted to answer my simple question of a refund was already making me angry. I called this morning twice to ask about the refund. And again, it went straight to voicemail. The first few times I called, I figured it was because of COVID and I'd been lenient. But now that it's been over a week, I'm done being patient. Had someone picked up to tell me they're understaffed or even mentioned it in the voicemail, I would've understood. 1) ALL of my calls were ignored and NO ONE thought to call me back even AFTER I left two voicemails 2) They clearly didn't care when I voiced my concerns in an email that I simply wanted answers for a refund and a cancellation. Cancellation was done but I guess they figured it would be easier to just cancel the move without having to deal with a paying customer. 3) I had heard great things about this moving company and saw so many great reviews about their services. This was a huge let down. Customer service is a big part of what makes someone want to pay for your services. Next time, when I move, I think I'll just stick to moving furniture myself.

They took care of my belongings wrapping, taping and packing with care. Once we got to the storage unit they were on a mission fit everything in, in a neat and orderly way. The mission was accomplished. The office did contact me right after the load up to find out how everything was going. My only criticism was when I was presented with the bill it was waayyyyy off. It was caught and corrected immediately by the employee and myself. I would use them again for sure.

The reality is the crew that showed up didn't have enough packing materials and said they didn't even know they were supposed to pack us and then unpack us. So we had to leave roughly a 12 ft box truck worth of items in our old house and pay someone else to move them. But here's the real issue, the crew demanded full payment before unloading and unpacking at our new address. We reluctantly paid, then of course they failed to unpack 70% of what they had packed. After calling the supervisor, he was a complete jerk and blamed everything on his employees. They then told us he's the problem. And they then literally dumped all of our stuff out of the boxes and on the counter and floors. Now here's another alarming fact, the lead guy who packed us initially said he would off the clock move the rest of our stuff from the previous address for $1,200.00. Then the lead driver who unpacked us told us the same thing. That sounds very sketchy.
