Go visit the very odd and bizarre couple who own and operate Westside Postal Express. Dan is always constipated, and Janice (Don't ever call her "Jan" -- She'll scold you and tell you how her wicked step mother called her by that name), who is old enough to be her husband's mother, calls him "Pops." These two have issues, but I can't pinpoint exactly what creates their extreme hostility towards their customers. Even before you walk into the toxic atmosphere of their little dirty cluttered post office, you'll be greeted by some hostile sign on the front door. Step inside and you'll hear the sarcastic voice, [disguised as pleasantness], from Dan. If you ask a question, the answer you'll receive from "Jan" or Dan will let you know how stupid you are. A sense of dread pours over me when there is something I have to go put in the mail. Unfortunately, Dan and Jan's Westside Postal Express is within walking distance of my home, and my time is so limited. So, I dreadfully get into my car and head their way, knowing that some sarcastic, underhanded passive-aggressive snarky comment will be hurled at me, or someone else in the line. Having known them and interacted with them for several decades, all I can say is that these two need some serious therapy. They should be operating a fitness club, where clients are scolded in order to push to new limits. I walked up to grab it and it was not our order. I showed the girl our receipt and she grabbed it and placed it in the order que for the cook. Five groups after us were served before us. They have seen the last of our business. After reading through review for several companies, and excluding ones that weren't available on the upcoming weekend we landed on Jaguar movers, and I'm super happy with our choice. The initial communication with them was very professionally, they gave us all the details we needed, and followed up with any questions we had. On the day of the move both Cory and Waymon showed up a few minutes early, did a walk through of the house, and then got right to work. My wife and I had packed up most of the stuff already but they wrapped up anything that might get damaged in any way. At the new house they were patient while we pointed out where everything went, and were super careful putting things down on the hardwood floors. To top the entire experience off; a very small support piece from an Ikea piece got misplaced in the move and none of use could find it. We looked through the truck and I really feel like Cory and Waymon did a great job looking for it. Even though we couldn't find it, it must have been in the truck somewhere because the next day they drove back to our new house to return it! Overall I was highly impressed with both Cory and Waymon, and Jaguar Movers as a whole, and would recommend them to anyone else looking to move.

It took over six and a half hours, constant complaints of how a third guy wasn't sent, they didn't wrap anything other than my tv, and actually broke off some of the brick on my steps at my new place for how rough they were being with my belongings. And after all that.... A 5% discount. Please do not use Jaguar moving. You and your furniture deserve much better.

At the new house, they did a decent job unloading the truck and bringing our stuff into the house. Nothing was damaged. The only thing that prevented me from giving five stars was the estimate and billing methodology. The estimate had an hour of travel time on it, but my new place is only between 5 and 10 minutes from my old place. I assumed that this would factor into the final price, but there is a minimum of $500(ish), which covers two hours of labor and an hour of travel time, regardless of actual travel time. Service was great... Just a little bit of weirdness with billing.

I WAIT TWO MORE DAYS, AND NO ONE PICKED UP. In my voicemail, I also wanted to ask if the $100 I deposited was refundable because when you book a move, you need to put a $100 to secure your booking. So, I got fed up of waiting to call the next day and sent an email asking to cancel my move and ask if I could be refunded. I wake up this morning to an email, an AUTOMATED EMAIL, that my move was canceled. Okay, that's good. My original objective was done. However, the fact that no one wanted to answer my simple question of a refund was already making me angry. I called this morning twice to ask about the refund. And again, it went straight to voicemail. The first few times I called, I figured it was because of COVID and I'd been lenient. But now that it's been over a week, I'm done being patient. Had someone picked up to tell me they're understaffed or even mentioned it in the voicemail, I would've understood. 1) ALL of my calls were ignored and NO ONE thought to call me back even AFTER I left two voicemails 2) They clearly didn't care when I voiced my concerns in an email that I simply wanted answers for a refund and a cancellation. Cancellation was done but I guess they figured it would be easier to just cancel the move without having to deal with a paying customer. 3) I had heard great things about this moving company and saw so many great reviews about their services. This was a huge let down. Customer service is a big part of what makes someone want to pay for your services. Next time, when I move, I think I'll just stick to moving furniture myself.

My move was 1/2/22 and no one ever contacted me back or showed up. I thought this was very strange after reading all of the great reviews on Google. Very disappointed in the outcome as I was excited to be working with a small business.
