This is the worst doctor's office i have ever been to. 90% of the staff is SO RUDE. a little over a month or two ago.My insurance got switched over, and I temporarily had to go to ampla, which for me was already gonna be disappointing Because I was really liking my doctor's office at adventist. I had recently had a boil issue on my skin, and I knew it was a boil, because i've had years of experience with them and I knew it needed to be drained. So, I go info urgent care, asking to be seen for a boil. That was kind of right on my hip, and underneath my stomach. Now, I can admit that I am an old obese woman, it's something i've struggled with due to personal conditions. It didn't take long for me to get called in which was nice. And the front desk was really nice. First issue: the nurse, she had spiral curly hair and just kind of seemed like she hated her life. She was very curt with me, didn't make any eye contact ( which normally I don't have any issues with considering.I'm autistic and have adhd). But she was very much just like flatly saying to get on the scale, give me your arm, do this do that without any infliction of kindness. When she was weighing me, I could see in her Eyes, that she just seemed to be judging me, and when we got to the doctor's office where she asked for my arm, she grabbed my arm while she said give me your arm, and roughly put the blood pressure cuff on, now, the blood pressure cuff is my least favorite of a doctor's appointment normally, i am super claustrophobic and have a lot of anxiety. When it comes to it, but she seemed to have no care. When she left the next issue was the doctor: at first, she seemed nice. But then when I explain the issue, she asked to take a look. And I showed her at first, just lifting my stomach a little, and she quickly barely looked and said " that's not a boil. You have a yeast infection" i said "okay but I know there's a boil under there. I may have a yeast infection, but I know there's a boil under there.I can feel it" and I lifted my stomach a little more to show her where the boil was, and all she did was roughly poke it. Then, proceeded to only prescribe me medication for yeast infection. I felt very dismissed very judged, and was thoroughly upset, as soon as I left, I wrote a complaint about the nurse and then called my insurance company to get switched back to adventist health i told them please note: to never put me with an ampla health again, this was the worst doctor's office service.I've ever had in my life, you all should be ashamed of yourselves! Thank you to the sweet gay man at the front desk ( i think his name was chris) who showed me even an inkling of kindness and sympathy. Later that night, I ended up going to the emergency room and guess what: I WAS RIGHT! i had a boil that needed to be drained. Immediately! Listen to your patience and don't simply dismiss what they're saying, especially when they tell you, they have experience with the situation! There is such thing as having more than one issue at once! read more
